    A/c repair

    The tech Randy was efficent and did great quality work. He was on time explained everything he was doing in hreat detail. He was very friendly and double checked his to make sure we would have no more problems with our cooling.

    Brand new broken down air conditioner. No service available

    Had a 15 year old working air conditioner replaced, in fear that it may break down and we’d be left without ac. They replaced it on Monday. On Friday my husband realized there was water leaking all over our basement floor. Called reliance. Sent out a guy who could not fix the problem. Apparently it was installed incorrectly and is missing a hose. Called to complain, spent 30 minutes in phone, got hung up on. Called back got left on hold for 20 minutes. Then called back and was told we are unable to do anything because outside of business hours. We have to have the same installer come back and wait 24 to 48 hours to get s call back to book an appointment to get it fixed. We spent 3800 on a new unit from this large company that has a next day installation guarantee or $500 back and I can’t even get someone out to repair a 5 day old unit! Horrible service!!

    Water Heater (Rental) Failure...started out very bad...

    So yesterday our adventure started - our water heater sprung a leak...no biggie - yeah some water and a call to Reliance since it's a rental, but my wife started mopping up the water while we waited for the technician to show. When I got home from a late work day, he was there and had "shut off the hot water to the heater so we should be good until the new one can be installed"...WHICH WAS SUNDAY - 3 DAYS FROM YESTERDAY. I am not sure how that is acceptable to Reliance to have a customer without hot water for 3 days (over the weekend no less, when everyone is home more), but I was too tired to get upset so I said I'd call again in the morning. Well after spending until about 11PM shop-vaccing all the water in the furnace room, I finally went to bed. Fast forward to this morning at 6AM - went down to check the situation and lo and behold the whole floor was flooded again! So another hour or so of shop-vac AFTER placing a call to Reliance. The person I got this morning was at least attempting to be helpful and was going to try her best to get a technician that had stock on their truck so they could swap. Basically every 10-15 minutes one of us had to go down to shop-vac so it didn't get too bad again. 8:35AM we had Mike show up - a total "180" difference from the previous evening's tech. Mike actually wanted to help and likely not just get home for the evening - he left at around 11AM with a brand new unit installed and some tips on prevention (water sensors, etc.). So, what started out as a very BAD experience, due to laziness of the first person that came ended up alright due to a technician who actually cares.

    Furnace/AC replacement

    I am exceptionally pleased with both my Reliance Comfort Advisor, Vince, as well as the furnace/ac installation done by Klimat Mechanical. I booked an online appointment on Sunday night and Vince called me on Monday for a Tuesday appointment. He was very personable and knowledgeable about his products. He answered all my questions and explained the installation in good detail, including any possible issues that could arise. I was very happy to find out that the job could be done by the end of the week. He also came back to check the work progress as it was being done. I appreciated his follow-up call and email the next day to make sure that I was happy with everything. The Klimit Mechanical guys were very professional as well. They were careful about putting down tarps and not damaging my property since my condo entrance was quite small for the size of furnace. The installation was done in a few hours even with a few glitches that they solved easily. They explained all I needed to know about the furnace/ac operation and cleaned up very well. I am so pleased that everything went so smoothly!

    Service

    My hot water tank was leaking I was meaning to call it in to have it repair ...i was out gettinv gas and ran into Dennis a service tech....he went out of his way to make sure I was looked after ...i asked him if he could come at 315 and showed up right on time...he was very professional and polite ....he went out of his busy day to make sure I was happy ....thanks again Dennis for taking the time out of your busy day to make sure I was happy ....you are a great asset to the company...we need more people like you that go out of there way for customers ....awesomd service!!!!

    AC: Great repair service

    My AC was not that cold these days. After I made some phone calls, Reliance Home Comfort sent Nick #1740 to us. He fixed our AC and his smile and attitude also gave us a wonderful impression. We are satisfied with his service. Please hire more people like him, he is wonderful!

    LG wall mount air conditioner

    For the past five years, since the unit was installed by another Kingston company it has not worked. It leaks water. I have had 3 companies try to fix. Reliance fixed it. I am thrilled. Barry and Ian were thorough, efficient, and knew what they were doing. They delved intonthe problem and found the hose had leaked all along and slope on line needed addressing. Awesome work from both Ian and Barry. Another Reliance employee also did beautiful install on my gas hot water tank. Nice coooer welds on pipes.

    Outstanding Work

    Service Tech. Brian arrived as scheduled. Performed all work which was previously discussed. Work was conducted in a very professional manner. The Basement was left in a clean and tidy manner. I would definitely recommend Reliance to anyone needing service.

    Air conditioner repair

    Althouogh Reliance had to send a service person to the house four times, over 7 days, the fourth service visit was excellent. Manjeet Warraich, under contract to Reliance, provided excellent service. Not only was he very polite, his experience allowed him to quickly diagnose the problem and return our air conditioner to normal operation. He also cleaned out the grills on the exterior unit and showed us how to do that ourselves in the future. We were very satisfied with Manjeet's work and results, and would recommend him to anyone.

    Water heater element

    Very happy with the service we revieved today. The technician was very professional and respectful. He found the problem right away and fixed it quickly. I w9uld highly recommend Reliance to anyone.
