We bought a new AC at the end of June 2017. We just moved into this new house and the AC was not working. We called Reliance and they sent a technician to advised us we should buy a new AC. Next day sales person Chris Illife was at our house selling us one, guaranteed us they have the best service and warranty etc. After a few days the installers came and installed the AC, next day it was not cooling off, I called Chris and informed him the air coming out of the registers its not cold and I lowered the AC to 17 degress, he said if it doesnt get better just call a technician its under warranty. After a month I called a technician, since the outside unit began to make noises, techinican came and informed us the AC had no refrigerant and this is why it was not cooling off and there was no leak either so the unit was probably defected. He filled up the unit with refrigerant and said it might work now. When called Chris back and informed him they installed a defected unit and the pump of the motor in the AC was running constantly with no refrigerant and was bad for the unit, he responded well its fixed now so everything should be ok. We asked to speak to his manager to call us back, we called Chris like 4 times and still his manager hasn't call us back. Bad Service. In the contract that we signed it says if the unit its defected or if we are not satisfied we will have out money back, none of this has happened we still cannot talk to Chris's manager, he didnt call back. NEVER will buy anything from Reliance, his office is in Barrie. And we will escalate this issue until we get a respond from a Manager from Reliance head office. BAD SERVICE. Once they get their sell they wash their hands all the sales person wanted was his commission.DO NOT BUY AN AC FROM RELIANCE FROM THE BARRIE BRANCH.
