I am going to try to give the short version of this. Some good but some bad. Our HCA Brook Robson was excellent, along with the first guy Robert Allard the day before who inspected was nice. The head Senior Installer was NOT. He even put down Robert the next day saying how would he know he has never installed a tank. His helper - Joe was so nice and hard worker even my neighbour noticed; the electricity guy with the Aussie accent for the breaker panel plus so helpful, nice and just did his work right away. The rest I did not meet. Ken (?) was negative from the moment he walked in saying it wasn't going to work, wont get both furnace/tank in room, too small, not going to have his guy fall thru roof, panel no good and I might just not get anything done . Yet it all worked out except he could not install the humidifier. The worse of all was when he went to work on the tank first all the water came pouring out flooding r kitchen & living room fr opening the tank tap & not even prepping for it. He said it was broken but fine, why did he not prep the floor and everything for it. Your policy says r techs protect ur floors and bring drop cloths etc...I was asked over & over again for more of all of my towels, bowls for the water pouring out which ran under r living room floor boards. Ken took a pail of this hot dirty water and poured it into my kitchen sink at which I saw it ran all over the counters. He did nothing just walked away while I rushed to clean up. I even had to provide them with r ladder as they did not have 1 in their van, but said oh they could run back and get one. I have a disability - getting around and this day was so stressful for me. I called Brook who arrived immediately and even asked Ken where is ur stuff? He said in the van. I was so upset afterwards. The electrician for the panel, which as soon as he saw it said it would NOT b an issue, he could make it work, even asked Ken afterwards if he wanted him to stay and help. Ken said no he would stay till late that night if he had too. The electrician even took out and put back in all of r clothes etc in the closet where the panel was. He even came to me to explain everything. So for the rest of the afternoon I sat in my living room with my dogs and waited till he finished at 3:30. Then Ken explained the thermostat, signed & checked off his paper & asked me to sign. I was not happy with his service and the bowls and number of towels I had to clean up after later. Needless to say he says he can not install the humidifier. I would rate the other guys perfect scores but never would want Ken to do a job for us again. His negative attitude over and over, his mess, etc...not to mention when he asked to show me the thermostat he belched and did not apologize. Aside from everything from Ken the rest was great. Brook Robson did fabulous job the night before explaining everything to us plus.
