We were taking over by reliance from another company and our combo unit was not working and needed replacement. we were still under warranty and there was other labour costs associated with the replacement ( i.e vent replacement) I was told i had to pay for it but because of the warranty we should have been covered under it. Therefore, reliance changed their mind and did not replace the unit but said they had found a solution for the issue, after giving us the run around. It was in the summer time so we were not even able to see if the fixed to turn on the heating. They changed a small part and said that it was okay when it was not because they did not want to pay for the extra costs associated . we are in the middle of winter and now the unit has completely broken down and have to be be replaced, and they said we have to pay for the all the costs now
because it is not under warranty anymore. They have the worst customer service and service technicians. They are unprofessional, they do not know anything about the unit, each person has a different story. When we call in, they have no idea what is going with customer. we have to always keep repeating over and over again the issue, even when they say we are writing down the notes to the conversation. DONT EVER RENT OR BUY FROM THEM. HORRIBLE SERVICE. HORRIBLE WORK ETHIC.
