    Our water heater was not working. The customer service representative was very professional and helpful. Didn't find difficulty to contact the number provided for the customers. The technician who came to service was reliable and efficient. Good job!

    Furnace had no heat

    I am really happy with Adam.L work he was really nice answering all my conversation that I had. He did an amazing job thank you Adam .L. we have heat. Thank You Very Much Diane

    tankless water heater

    Great experience with Reliance. Kelly came in to do an assessment as to whether or not we could have a tankless water heater. She was on time and professional. Had Mike install the heater today without any issues. Installation was much quicker than quoted time. The whole process took less than a week! After 7 years of living in this house, I finally had a bath in the "big" tub without running out of hot water :)

    I had a problem with the furnace. And I called reliance and they responded with argent. They sent this gentle man his name was Mike.who really helped us to upgrade the whole systems for less. We end up with a very good deal.

    replacement of tankless water heater

    My tankless water heater was broken. The previous installation was not done well (company now out of business). Hys and Tim did an excellent job incl. replacing a gas line, moving the dryer vent and dealing with some plumbing issues. The codes had changed and they spent extra time and energy to make sure everything would work. They left the area cleaner than they found it! I don't know the cost as it was covered by Reliance. I would highly recommend Reliance to anyone.

    Furnace

    Bruce M # 3158 attended to our service call and fixed the problem in a short time. Upon his recommendation we signed on the service plan. Bruce was a real professional. Service call was Bea 7429926

    Stay Away

    My furnace all of a sudden stopped working so I called Reliance Home Comfort because I was under their “ Protection Plan” for several months at the time. I was advised that they were very busy that day and a technician could only come the next day. However, their service man Mr. Mario C. from Reliance in York region showed up the next day in the afternoon way later than the time frame we agreed upon. After spending 10 to 15 minutes, his diagnostics was that my furnace air exchanger had a crack and the repair is not covered under my plan and it costs thousands of dollars to repair. He said it is best to replace the furnace all together. I asked how much a new furnace costs and he said he could have someone from their sales team to call me or better he knows another professional outside Reliance who could sell me the same furnace for much much less. I was shocked to hear all of this and disappointed because my furnace was only 8 years old. I told him that I had to discuss this with my family and I could not make a decision now. I had a hard time to get rid of him because he talked nonstop. He finally gave me his phone number and left. I contacted a local heating contractor my neighbor recommended & got the same day service; it turned out my thermostat was acting up & my furnace was fine. The entire repair cost me $250 including a new Honeywell Thermostat & within 2 hours my furnace was working again. No crack or Carbon monoxide was detected during his inspection. I called Reliance to complain & cancel my protection plan but they refused to do that. I had to haggle with them for a few weeks to finally pay for the entire year and cancel it. I don’t recommend Relaince protection plans, it is just a way to get leads for their sales people & Mr. Mario C. is a salesman dressed up as a technician who is not even loyal to his organization.

    furnace and water heater puchase and installation

    I called reliance for an estimate of furnace because there was no heat in my house. I was told that they would send a guy in an about 2 to 4 hours. Soon enough Andrew came in my house and did an inspection and estimate. Andrew and I sat down and he showed me some options that the company has to offer. He showed me some great products but strongly advice to only consider which is the most practical options that i need for the size of my house. Andrew took his time explaining all the details and was patient enough to answer all my question. Over all, it was happy that Andrew helped me choose the best products and the next day my new furnace and water heater was installed the next day as planned. My house is now warm again. I would always recommend a guy like Andrew to my friends and family.

    Hot water boiler furnace repair

    The two technicians that repaired our furnace on January 21st 2016, Ian Brown and Justin Flood, were excellent workers! Ian shared his competence in mentoring Justin on the ins and outs of the hot water boiler furnace. These 2 intelligent and persistent workers verified all of the connections, the wires and the temperature in order to ensure a highly functioning furnace. They left their work area spotless. We highly commend these workers who have earned our respect by the quality of their work and their constant communication. Their efficient, friendly and honest disposition was greatly appreciated. As seniors, we do not always receive service from providers who are patient and clear speaking. Their professional approach and answers to our questions reassured us.

    Replacement of hot water heater

    We woke up at 6 am, realized we had no hot water for our showers, called Reliance at 6:45, and Matt F. was at our door by 8 am. By 9:40, we had a new hot water heater. Matt was very polite, respectful and honest. He was able to troubleshoot our problem quickly, call in additional resources and give us a solution right away. He was clear about our options and didn't try to up-sell us. We are very happy with the service and are even happier that we didn't have to waste a whole workday waiting for service.
