    Furnace

    Dave Masters and his team did a very good job and I am satisfied. They were very punctual and professional in the way they conducted themselves. Therefore I would certainly recommend Reliance to others.

    Tankless Hot Water heater Install - Rental

    Great Experience, very happy with result. Kelly G was the advisor that come to my house to help me decide and evaluate switching from a hot water tank to a tankless water heater. The 2 installers Mike G and Luciano L were fantastic. One time, polite and professional. They were in and out in no time, the group of them reassured me I made the right decision to go with the tankless water heater.

    full home: heating, cooling etc

    Our old furnace suddenly gave up on us, we called reliance rightaway to see if our issue was fixable, and was surprised at how swiftly the service was. A technician came checked everything and we were told that our issue was a harzardous one so he immediately called a sales rep Andrew Mc Master to come in and speak with us about our options he explained everything in detail about cost which is always a key factor, and he was very professional listened to our needs and then gave us the best option suitable for our situation, and a really nice guy his customer service and sales skills are awesome. I have worked in sales and customer service for 14 years so I know great service. I will definitely recommend reliance, I would like to thank Andrew for his dedication in getting us heating swiftly and the team for getting us up and running quickly..great service guys keep it up ....

    Furnace

    Fast and punctual service at the 4 appointment times - Friday technician to diagnose why furnace quit, Friday night appt with sales person to suit my schedule, installation on a bad-weather Sunday, hook-up of humidifier a couple of days later. All 5 technicians and the sales person (Marty) were professional and seemed very competent. Sales person was able to arrange with his manager and the installers to come on the Sunday. He said that I was getting excellent installers (Matt and Leo). He came along with the installers and appeared to support them (brought coffee, their lunches). They seemed to be a good team. I feel confident that the equipment the sales person recommended is appropriate for the house. I like being able to wait as long as 6 months before choosing whether to buy or rent the furnace and air conditioner. Marilyn in Waterloo

    Waterdown

    Tech Mathew F. attended for my service call. He was professional, courteous and explained all work performed. I recommend this tech. Next time a new water heater will be installed for sure as this is the 4th repair on this water heater.

    Water heater

    I called in on Thursday at about 1:30 to ask for service as my water heater had stopped worked and would not "reboot" by unplugging. I was told it would not get a service call until the next morning. I explained that the water heater is essential as it tied to the furnace and there is no heat without it. It had already dropped to 19 degrees in the house and it had only been a couple of hours. The customer care rep kept searching and found a rep to come to the house between 7 pm and 11. She made sure she had the correct number for service to contact me and assured me they would call before arriving. By 10 pm as I still had no call and I had stayed home from my son's hockey game, and carried my cell everywhere in the house with me to assure I didn't miss the call, I called back into to Reliance to enquire as to my calls status. It was now 16 degrees in the house. The next rep assured me the call was still active and I should hear from someone that evening. I called back in at 11:15, now cold and tired, to have the rep investigate where the service call stood. She then contacted the service rep directly and he was not dispatched the call. Now I am upset, my house is cold, there's no hot water, and the offer for someone to now arrive between 8-12 the next day was insufficient, but my only option. I was now angry and concerned about the temperature of the house. By next morning, it was 12 degrees and my kids were late for school due to no hot water and my husband had to stay home from work to have the heat restored in my home. I am currently investigation alternative options to my current system, and it won't be a reliance service plan if this is how a essential element of the plan is considered.

    Replaced Hot Water tank (rental)

    Had an older water heater serviced in November. Technician recommended a replacement tank (no rush). I called mid January to request the replacement. Got same day service! Technician, Fred J. was friendly, efficient and gave me some good advice. Only minor downside was that he did not always use the booties or the red carpet, so a bit of a cleanup was necessary. All in all, pleased with service

    New furnace and air conditioner

    Kept having winter issues with the old furnace and decided a new furnace was the way to go. Also went with a new air conditioner...that I can't really review as it's not weather worthy yet. However, I will say Amir and Adam were top notch, and have nothing bad to say about the installation. Now of course this winter seems to be the warmest we have had in a while but I can still note a difference in the entire house, can barely hear the furnace and with the Nest be able to control the temp when I am not at home which is pretty nice.

    Water heater installation

    Water heater delivered on time and took less than an hour. Install crew from heatmaster systems were friendly, explaining about the install and wore shoe coverings to protect our carpets. After the install, they explained all about the appliance, how to start it if it goes out, and the best setting to use and future maintenance. Great Service.
