    Furnace direct vent blower failure

    The friendly courteous and prompt service technician repaired the furnace vent blower first thing in the morning and thanks to comfort heating protection plan my cost was nil. Thank You Reliance.

    furnace service

    Came home and furnace not working. Called for service and within 30 minutes the reliance local service provider arrived and furnace was serviced to my satisfaction. I would recommend to anyone looking for reliable service.

    service call

    Had a major system install with a Nest thermostat. While learning to use the Nest, I realized that it was not recognizing all of my system components. Called Reliance and Mario Cirelli was there the same day. He quickly figured out the problem and corrected it. He showed me the wiring problem and why it had been an issue during the original install. Thanks!

    Furnace not working

    Furnace and air conditioning

    We had Donna Ingratta come on Monday evening (accommodated a time that worked for us) and she went over all of the products and details thoroughly with us! We made a decision that evening as we felt confident in her and our new furnace and central air unit is being installed today! Thank you for your friendly and knowledgable staff and quick timing on installation of our products! We are looking forward to a warm and comfortable winter and cool and comfortable summer!!!

    Adam Walker of Reliance Home Comfort protects customer from rip off

    December 31st 2015 around 6pm as we are about to leave to celebrate the New Year, our furnace won't stay on. We fiddle with it, but don't want to go too far in case we break something or blow up the house. We call the company that sold it to us 9 years ago, but they are out of business. We then call another company we dealt with and they come for 8pm. The error codes say Flame Sensor fault, but he tells us to replace the furnace and that we can't turn it on due to excessive Carbon Monoxide levels. He leaves us literally in the cold and charges us $160 for the visit. We are left in the cold until Jan 2nd. I believed that a second opinion would make sense, so I look for a reseller of Rheem furnaces on Jan 2nd 2016. A number of names pop up and the most familiar is Reliance Home Service Mississauga. I call and they say someone will be there between 1-6pm. At 1:10pm Adam Walker shows up. He sees the error codes, cleans the flame sensor and fires up the furnace. It stays on! He then says the venting pipe is broken at the base and he can not keep the furnace on with it in that condition. He goes to his truck and brings back some parts and McGyvers it to allow the furnace to function until the pipe can be fully replaced. WE HAVE HEAT FOR THE FIRST TIME IN 3 DAYS! Adam Walker is an excellent example of an honest and conscientious service professional. The first guy wanted the sale of a new furnace. Adam wanted his clients to have heat and their problem solved. I highly recommend him and will be referring him to anyone in need. Great job Sir! I appreciate your efforts and honesty.

    Tankless heater repair

    They took over our heater rental from Sears and replaced it with a Rheem unit June 2015. It worked great until December 20 when it would not heat up to the set temp and kept turning off. we now had no hot water for heating or domestic use. The call center did not want to send out repair man until next day but finally agreed to send one that day. Heater was again working but a bigger gaskins was installed to fix the issue. Didn't fix issue. Lorne spent the next 2 1/2 weeks coming out to restart, and trying to add a new computer chip to change the water heat setting. He spent many hours on the phone talking to his bosses and techs down east. He made many 2.5 hr round trips to my place during the day and late call outs when it stopped working . If the new chip didn't work he was going to put a new unit in but the chip worked after a control board reset. All is good. Lorne went above and beyond with his work to help us out. He is committed to the customer and getting the job done right maybe not the first try but he doesn't stop until it's done. Thanks Lorne

    Installation of new furnace and A/C equipment.

    Bill W. (RCH1377) and his partner Wes R. (RCH1893) both HVAC installation specialists with Reliance Home Comfort did an outstanding instalation job on January 20, 2016.. Super efficient crew, curtuous, and polite. Their outstanding professionality and experience is beyond reproach. They started the job on time and left the place clean and tidy.. They explained the operation of the new equipment, the thermostat, the emergency shutdown and seasonal equipment changeover procedure. Terrific experience and super job. Thanks Bill and Wes.     Furnace service call

    I booked a service call online in the morning for the same day in the afternoon! Took me less than a minute! Matt L showed up in the scheduled interval for the appointment. He inspected the furnace for the reported problem, checked the necessary components and left it in good working condition. He answered all the questions I had. He left me with the peace of mind that everything is how is supposed to be and good for the winter. Very prompt, very professional. My experience with Reliance was always the same, excellent. The protection plan I have with them, is totally worth it! Hence, a 10 rating! Good job!
