    routine yearly maintenance of boiler furnace

    the yearly routine cleaning of the furnace was a night mare. I waited all in all 23 hours on 5 different days for the tech to show up. twice within 2 hours they sent techs that could not service my boiler. They told me they would come between 8 and 1, however on their schedule it was 1 to 6 or it was not scheduled at all. the tech that finally showed up was wonderful, competent, professional and knowledgeable, but to get him there was an absolute night mare. I cancelled my service contract with Reliance. I am sure I can find somebody local that can do it under 23 hours.

    Furnace, a/c and hot water tank installation

    My furnace broke on a Sunday night, and was rendered unfixable by my handyman (not surprising as it was 25+ years old.) I called Reliance Tuesday morning and a very knowledgeable and helpful sales person, Darryl, came that evening offering to do the install as early as the next day- wonderful! The crew, Mike & Viji, arrived right on time, surveyed the job (which wasn't going to be easy as my basement access is a trap door in the floor) and needed to call their manager before starting. Because of some safety concerns I ended up needing to have more work done than I expected, but the manager (also named Mike) offered practical, efficient suggestions which the crew was able to seamlessly work into their installation. They completed the job (including cleanup) in 5 hours! I was delighted, and would hire these guys again in a second if necessary. Job very well done! Thank you.

    Got installed new Carrier Furnace and Carrier Air Conditioner on 01st Dec,2015

    Since the day of installation the system is not working properly and NO heating system in the house. Called the Reliance lot of times and they promised that sending the Technician but till 1.30 p.m. on 05th Dec,2015 no one solved the problem. I don't know what is wrong with the Company or the technicians.

    Hot water heater

    Mike came and serviced our hot water heater. He was extremely knowledgeable, friendly and answered any and all questions I had for him. He informed me of water softener rental options that I will more than likely upgrade to in the near future.

    worst customer service

    New owners since almost three months we asked for our contract, we sent e-mail, we called many times and got promises each time that they will sent it. Do not send them e-mail thru their site because they pretend they never receive it. So far worst customer service we have ever seen !

    Furnace Replacement

    The cold damp season was setting in, but still rather moderate for winter when realized that our high efficiency furnace of 32 years was not respnding the way it should. We did some research on furnace service groups and settled with Reliance based on value, locality and we already had a hot water heater rental with them. A service representative responded directly that morning and evaluated the problem. An apparent internal gas valve had failed which would cost $700 to replace, including a $100 dollar service charge. Given the vintage of the furnace it did not seem practical and that a replacement be considered. A sales representative was at our home by noon hour the same day. The options were reviewed and settled upon with a 5 year warranty for installation the following morning. The changeout of furnaces was efficient and coutious with thenew furnace up an running before noon. There was a minor deficiency in the condensate pump installation which was quickly rectified by the original service tech at no cost to us. We consider our service / sales experience exceptional and we are glad we chose Reliance for our home comfort service.

    Installation of new furnace

    In early October of 2015, we had a furnace check done by Zach and he gave us the bad news that our furnace had a cracked heat exchanger and could no longer be used. We knew it would be coming eventually. Even though he had bad news, Zach was still a very pleasant young man. He arranged to have Zuzana Boyle come on the same day to give us the options for a new furnace. Zuzana was also very pleasant and was extremely thorough & competent in her explanations of our options. She sold us a new furnace, completed all the paperwork, and arranged for the furnace to be installed a few days later. The furnace was installed by a team of technicians with the senior member being Barry, and his assistants were Kyle and Ron. All three of these technicians were very polite and considerate and worked continuously from early in the morning until mid-afternoon. The new furnace was much smaller than our old one and I watched as Barry crafted new metal pieces to join the new furnace to the remaining parts of the older furnace so that the space was filled up and it looked as if it was designed that way. His craftsmanship was very skilled and the finished product is very attractive. All of the technicians, from Zach to Barry, Kyle, and Ron were very careful to cover their feet and the carpets so as not to leave any marks on any of our floor surfaces. Zuzana followed up with the paperwork for the Heating and Cooling Incentive Program so that we can get our rebate of $250.00, which has already been approved. All in all, we have been very pleased with the service of all of the employees of this Reliance Home Comfort team. They were all very respectful, pleasant, and hard working and did an excellent job of replacing our old furnace with a new model that has been working very well ever since. Thank you all very much!

    Furnace Ac and tankless

    We signed up for reliance home comfort and requested to get a new furnace Ac and tankless water heater. Trevor and his team from reliance came by to install the new units. They were very professional and courteous during the process. They were also very neat and made sure there was very little mess. I would also like to mention that Denis the salesman was very professional and knowledgeable about his products and services. He helped save us money on our gas and electrical bill. Denis explained everything thoroughly and made sure all of our questions were answered. We have also referred two of our family member.

    servicing of furnace and temperature control panel

    We had trouble with the temperature control panel in our home. The Reliance technician responded very quickly. Due to the nature of the problem it took several hours to solve; throughout this time the technician maintained a professional and friendly attitude. The service is definitely recommended.
