    New Furnace (rental)

    Dean the Home Comfort Advisor came to my home on the Tuesday to provide the best options and costing's for a new Furnace. Dean made the whole process very relaxing yet was professional and informative as the same time. It felt like it was a friend advising me! With Deans help I decided on a Furnace, and instead of purchasing as I had originally planned to do I went with the 7 year rental option, something which Dean had advised me of and I could see the benefits of doing. Dean was able to arrange the installation of the Furnace the very next day. The Installation team arrived promptly Wednesday morning and by early afternoon I had a brand new Furnace and Humidifier. Awesome job guys!!

    Hot water heater not working.

    Had Chad show up this morning and he replaced a part on my hot water heater and fixed my issue. He was professional and informative. So everything with Chad and the dispatch was timely and professional and great! That said I have to say this is the 3rd trouble ticket on this hot water heater since we went with Home Reliance and they installed a new unit. The previous (14 year old????) unit never had an issue. I'm scared to put in a new furnace if this is how reliable the new products are.

    Hot water tank

    It turned to be a good day for my family after reliance home comfort quickly sending a technician , Arash Setayesh , to fix my hot water tank . He found out it was thermostat problem to be fixed. He is knowlegible . Especially he is mindful. I would love to have his service again when the time comes. Thank you Su

    Furnace repair

    I had my furnace go down at night called and was booked fast the next day she was fixed and running like a charm.Thanks Roch C. again for getting it fixed second repair in less than a year different issue last time was fixed and running quickly Roch you rock at your job nice friendly service.

    annual furnace/humidifier check up

    We had service technician Vahid for the annual furnace/humidifier check up and can say we are very impressed with him and appreciate his work. Vahid is very knowledgeable, experienced and friendly. He quickly fixed what the previous Reliance contractor mixed up. He took the time to explain what he was doing and answered all our questions. Special thanks for using shoe covers. We want to thank you again for the very good service! The company is very lucky to have people like Vahid.

    communication problem

    got a letter from reliance home comfort protection plan. they detailed that this letter confirms i purchased protection plus plan and it will cost me $33.89 per month. no such thing happened. seems like a s(cam). anyone else get this letter ? i wish reliance had a e mail address instead of a phone number which takes forever to get through.

    Furnace repair and maintenance

    I have had a problem with my furnace for some time now where it continuously cycles off on the high limit switch. I have had four different Reliance techs out and all have had different opinions on why it's doing what it's doing. Even though the furnace still worked, I had a Reliance tech (Jason #?) check out my furnace in August (I know, I know...furnace in August? It's a long story) and he determined that it was a faulty gas valve and ordered me a new one along as well as a new hot surface igniter. Both parts were delivered to my house the next week and I had to call to have them installed. Well, since it was August and I didn't need my furnace yet and I was busy, I left it until this past weekend when it got pretty cold. I turned the furnace on and there was no heat at all. It was only blowing cold air. The furnace had worked in August. Great. So, I called Reliance and they said they'd send someone the next day. A contracted tech, not from Reliance, shows up and takes one look at my furnace and the parts they sent and said they were the wrong parts and "sorry I can't help you". I called Reliance back right away and they said a Reliance tech was still on dispatch for my house and to just sit tight. A few hours go by and a tech from Reliance named Sheldon (#3058) showed up. He set to work and immediately started the furnace as all that was stopping it from making heat was that the tech in August had turned off the gas valve and if the contracted tech had taken two seconds to look he could have flipped a switch but the contractor seemed to lazy to do anything. Sheldon then went above and beyond and installed the new gas valve (because it was the correct part) and the hot surface igniter and now my furnace is working much much better than it had for the last couple of years. But Sheldon also discovered that the high limit switch is worn out and also needs to be replaced. So that's now being ordered. All of this is done while on the protection plan that Reliance offers. I have no idea what all this would have cost if done with out the plan but I'm glad it's only costing me $20/ month for the piece of mind. I also want to say how thorough, helpful and courteous Sheldon was. I'm feeling much better about my furnace for this upcoming winter now. So why only 3 stars for satisfaction with the company? Well, the call center for arranging appointments do not relate information to the techs very well. My funace is in a crawl space. I tell them that every time and they'll still send techs that can't/won't go in there wasting my time and theirs. Also they need to stop sending hired contractors to do the work. They don't take time to find out what's really wrong and are quick to leave with out doing much of anything. TL;DR - Call center = meh; contracted techs = BAD; Reliance tech Sheldon (#3058) = awesome!

    Annual Service

    We had a contractor (Of Reliance) sent to do our annual service in May, he came without a replacement filter and was suppose to pass the message along. Finally, had an actual service tech from Reliance that took care of it...4 months later

    Bruce M - service on furnace

    Bruce M #3158 arrived about three hours after I called Reliance to investigate why we weren't getting heat from our furnace. He was cheerful, interested and knowledgeable. He quickly found the problem, got a part from his truck and repaired it, all in less than 30 minutes. Thank you to Bruce

    Hot Water Tank Repair

    After months of listening to the fan motor on our rented hot water tank get louder and louder, I contacted Reliance for service. I called at 9:00am Saturday morning and was told a technician could be there that same day before 1:00pm. The technician, who was already working overtime, arrived by noon and replaced the fan motor on the HWT. The work was completed in under half an hour. Frankly, I could not have expected better service from Reliance, and would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone.
