Recently had an issue with our Furnace not cooling our house and was not blowing much air. We're on the protection plan with Reliance and the first tech that showed up spent 5 minutes looking at the ac unit and furnace and determined I needed a new Evaporator Core and it was covered under the plan (We later found out that they are). I was then told I should replace both the Furnace and AC unit and that he would have his sales guy contact us. We received a quote (that's another story) after a bunch of emails back and forth and was looking at approx. $8,000 - $10,000 to replace. I had mentioned this issue to some friends and people in the business and they said the symptoms sounds like a very dirty evaporator Core. I called Reliance back, had Angelo #1806 come to look at the situation. He removed the Evaporator Core, cleaned it, put everything back together properly and tested the entire system. Said everything tested fine. I'd like to give this experience a 0 however working with a professional like Angelo who saved me a ton of money and restored my faith in this company. I will have to rate this experience a 5. Careful of their business practice. Their not all bad / corrupt but please make sure you do your homework and perhaps get a second opinion.
