    furnace and air conditioner replace

    Was happy with salesperson at first. When problems arose after the sale I found him very uninterested in my issues.I also found that some of the information provided during the sale pitch on renting was false. Service men who installed the equipment were very friendly however left without proper instruction how to operate thermostat and left taking the instruction book. Made attempts to get the instruction book however was not returned. I was not told that Rheem(manufacturer of the thermostat) does not have an essential component to operate the wireless feature of the unit. Had to get a service person in several days after install to set up thermostat. It was at that time I discovered the furnace humidifier was wired improperly. The service man (James F #1807) was extremely helpful and courteous and was able to fix the problems.

    furnace

    Im happy with the service it was fast and we didn't have to stay cold in this winter thank you i will definitely recommend Reliance to my family and friends

    Furnace

    recently my property in Windsor Ontario needed a new furnace .... living in alberta and living in a different time zone I stressed the situation knowing my renter was without heat and needed some immediate assistance..... Christine not only stepped up to plate and moved mountains to ensure my situation was resolved but was in constant contact with me and assured me that heat for my renter was reinstated ---- this lady not only knows her business but her communications with me in different time zones showed me that Christine had my personal interests at heart .... let me say that she was taking my calls at very late hours as well as very early morning hours ............ so ............ dear Christine from reliance I say THANK YOU ..... my renter is happy to be warm again and I am very pleased ---- its such a fantastic feeling knowing that people still go way above and beyond and you Christine rocked it out ......

    Water Problem

    Mehul Patel. I was very impressed with the service this technician provided. He was very knowledgeable about the equipment. He was also very professional in the way he presented himself. His has done an excellent job and he is a real asset to the organization. I will recommend Reliance to any one in future.

    Water Heater Install

    Had a water heater installed last night. Mentioned to the tech that I could smell gas after he finished. Was told that it was normal and the smell would dissipate. Woke up this morning feeling extremely sick (dizzy, headache, throwing up, couldn't think straight) and could smell a strong odor of gas. Immediately went down strairs to the basement and the smell was worse. Called enbridge to report the leak. They came and found that the leak was from a fitting that did not have sealant and was so loose it could be turned by hand. As a result the entire supply of gas to my home has been shut off. Enbridge tech told me this was some of the worst work he has seen in over 20 years. It took 9 calls to home reliance to get an appointment to have the issues resolved and get my gas turned back on. I was hung up on 7 times while on the phone with them First call was at lunch, its now after dinner and no one has shown up. Its -20c tonight and I have no heat in my house.

    Hot water tank leaking

    We called Reliance Home Comfort in regards to a leak in our hot water tank and they arranged to have a service technician come by the next morning. The technician, Chad, called in advance to let me know when he would arrive, which I very much appreciated. He investigated the issue and was able to replace a part to fix the leak. He was very helpful, friendly and professional. He answered all of my questions and took the time to explain to me what he had done to fix the leak. He also left his business card in case we needed to contact him or had any further questions.

    When my furmace quit at -28 degrees Reinoldo and Josh were very helpful and knowledgable at solving my problem .They provided a solution quickly and had heat back in my house in short time .They were very friendly and informative .

    Furnce and Hot water tank

    Our Furnance went down on us last night and so it was a pretty cold night so first thing in the morning we called Reliance and had help right away. Team member Robb (2929) and his partner were amazing and went above and beyond. They informed me of a lot of things that I didn't know of and I appreciate that. Plus they ended up fixing our hot water as we have no pressure and the water was really hot but not we have a fully working shower again and it's ANAZING!!! My grandmother is very happy with the serive that was provided today. Well mannered and a smile on their faces. Thank you.

    service advisor Chris B was really friendly and informative. Described possible 2 problems and advised me of the change he made and what I should do next if the problem re-occurs. Great Service Representative.

    Hot Water Heater replacement

    Came back on a Saturday afternoon, from a few days away and found our rental hot water heater leaking. Called Reliance and they scheduled a repair for between 8 and 1 on Sunday. Service man was at the door at 8:30 a.m. and gone by 10:30 a.m., new tank installed and old venting replaced. Couldn't ask for better service.
