    Service

    Kevin, the Service Technician, was very accommodating when we had to reschedule the service date. When he came, he was very professional and knowledgeable about the issue and how to resolve it. We are very happy with his service.

    intermittent heating and noisy inducer

    Our furnace was making loud noises on startup and was shutting down with a code,Amber,employee #1620 diagnosed the problem and ordered the parts,with her help we were up and running within 24 hours,a job well done.Thanks

    Furnace Repair

    In a day when customer service is largely left to automated attendants and quota driven technicians it was most uplifting to see the high quality of service from Reliance Home Comfort. From the customer service attendant that took my call to Matt the technician who completed the service requirement the entire process was first class. The problem with my furnace that arose at 10:15 this morning was addressed by 2:30 this afternoon including the need to retrieve parts across the city. I can only wish that all business would take customer care as seriously as Reliance. Thanks to Matt and whomever answered the phone when I called. Marty Keast

    Replacement Water Heater

    While replacing their rental water heater, the servicemen removed copper piping and replaced it with plastic flex pipe, in spite of objections. The plastic pipe is now leaking and Reliance refused to take any responsibility for the repair. During the installation they also destroyed a door frame, which we had to replace. Very poor workmanship and lack of customer support.

    Emergency Furnace and Air Replacement in -22 weather

    Thanks to the amazing team in Guelph, Ontario. From our initial "Help it's 9pm and our furnace isn't working, it's -22 outside" call in to which I did argue because they couldn't make it that night, to the tech who came first thing at 9am the next day and found the real problem and saved our lives (even though we have two CM monitors that didn't detect the cracked heat pump) and to the lifesaver Glen who came to our home on a Sunday, was polite and caring and came up with a solution for us and helped us get set up for a "no heat" install the next day and the amazing guys who came and spent the day taking apart the 35 year old beast and installing the brand new system. You all worked seamlessly together for us, for our safety and we are thankful for the speediness. We have heat!

    Purchased Existing Property with Rental Equipment (Unit Heaters)

    I bought a property which had 2 rental unit heaters from Reliance Home Comfort installed in it. Reliance created 2 accounts, and therfore 2 setup fees to start. Then when I received the first bill, I called them to buy the 2 unit heaters, they gave me a price and told me to expect the bill for these units in the mail. 4 months later, they sent me a bill for rental of the unit heaters for the 4 months plus didn't even start the process of me buying the units. Now I'll be paying over $1000 in rental fees (plus still have to puchase the heaters), that I've never used and that don't work. As an added bonus, Union Gas inspected my house and refused to fire up one of the unit heaters, because it was unsafe. On top of that the customer service is horrible. I've only talked to them twice on the phone and the first time they didn't process the purchase of the units, as I requested. The second time, they entered the inspection date wrong and accused me of not requesting the purchase of the heaters.. The inspector was helpful and told me the heaters weren't even serviceable, plus the units I rented had known issues with the heat exchanger. NEVER purchase or rent equipment from Reliance Home Comfort in Sudbury.

    Water heater installation

    John (Team member #2321) installed my new water heater. He did it properly, without cutting corners. He was a young guy with old school values. Great to see someone treating your home like that.

    Space Heater

    John Savage came to my residence to assist me with an ongoing issue. He was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. He completed the job very efficiently. He definitely solved a seriouly ongoing issue. Thnk you John Savage. Job well done!

    Furnace

    Got my Furnace fixed and cleaned......it didn't cost me a penny. Very happy with their work and I will recommend them to everyone I know. Thanks again for doing such a good job!

    Furnace

    Our furnace broke down during the coldest week of the year. My husband and I met with Michael MacDonald of Reliance Home Comfort (Mississauga) who informed us of all our options, answered all our questions, organized and monitored the installation of our new furnace. Michael was very professional throughout the whole process. We made our decision on a new furnace at 11:30 a.m. and by 4:45 p.m. (on that same day) it was installed and running. Thanks Michael!
