    Installing a new Furnace and Air Conditioner

    I installed a brand new carrier Furnace and Air Conditioner (top of the line based on the Sale Rep claim). We had old furnace and in fact we did not have problem with it expect high bills. Anyways, one day after installing the new equipment, our basement got flooded since Reliance did not properly install the drainage. I called and they came and fix it although they were hesitant. I told them the way I wanted it to be drained with NEW piping, not old existing piping. Then I was promised to get a rebate of $650, but they processed $250 for me. I have been struggling with them now for 3 months, and no hope, they do not fix it for me, which is my right. Now it is 3 straight days we do not have heat, I called on Friday early morning, and they were supposed to come on Friday between 10 t0 2 pm, no one showed up and no one called. I called yesterday, again no hope. I called today, I have been waiting and waiting and waiting and freezing and freezing, with NO HOPE..... I do NOT recommend Reliance at all, they are NOT Reliable and I am NOT comfortable at all. Hopefully, someone down the road can help me.......

    New Furnace Installed

    I want to commend Amir and Adam the Reliance furnace installers. They were informative, courteous and respectful of my home. They came in removed old furnace, installed new furnace and new thermostat and completely left everything as clean as when they came in. I would highly recommend them to anyone. Thank you Amir and Adam.

    furnace

    We had Rick in for our regular furnace check. Very efficient, very helpful. Replaced our humidfier old one broken. He is a super service man. Thank you Reliance. Rick has been here before and gave us excellent then too

    booked and received 40$off service technician arrived first thing 7am didn't have to wait around all day which was good. would recommend this deal to other people that all bye

    Tankless Water Heater Install

    We ordered our tankless water heater at the beginning of October. The Home Comfort Advisor, Greg is someone we have dealt with for many years and is excellent in looking after our needs. He is the reason we will always go through Reliance and would highly recommend him. The installation of our unit took more than two weeks to be finished. It was outsourced to a local plumbing and heating company. It took four scheduled appointments and two weeks before anyone showed up. The first three scheduled times, we had to stay at home for four hours to wait for no one. I was NOT told that if they called ahead and no one answered the phone, they would cancel the installation. My husband was home but did not hear the call. After that, we gave them our land line and cell numbers. The second scheduled time they just didn't show up and didn't call. The third scheduled time, there was a mix up with the computer system at Reliance and our installation disappeared off the system. By that time Greg was at our home to oversee what was going wrong. After four hours, and again, no installation, it was booked for the following day. We could not take any more time off work so Greg came the following day and stayed at our home to make sure the installation was completed. We finally got our tankless water heater installed yesterday, October 28. Hopefully the communication will improve between these businesses and the clients, so the excellent service received at the beginning of the sale will carry through to the installation at the end.

    21 Point Precision Tune Up

    Our technician Ian (#11376) arrived within the allotted time and was very professional. He did the inspection and answered my questions without hesitation. I would certainly use your service again!

    Water heater

    Water heater ceased to produce hot water. Called company who sent a technician to fix it. Technician arrived on time designated, was extremely courteous and explained why heater was malfunctioning. Took time to address all our questions and concerns. You are fortunate to have Chad McDaid on your payroll.

    reliance home comfort

    Pathetic service and pathetic call centre guys. The rentention centre lady Sandra was totally rude to the customer. She cut down my phone saying I wont help you in anyways. They even dont have good service to the customer. I would never ever recommend to buy furnace and water heater from reliance. They chaarge you with whole lot of money and dont want to even provide the service.

    Service

    I must say I am very disappointed in your Company's service. On Oct 25 we had no hot water. I called your service dept at 709am and your rep was very good. She advised that a tech would be at the house between 8:00am and 1;00 pm. I had a call from the tech( Gloria ) to say she would be at the house shortly after 1;00pm. She arrived at 2;15pm. We had personal business to attend to Sat afternoon and needless to say were late. Gloria came into the house, relite the pilot and left telling us we would have hot water within 45 minutes. I asked her why the pilot would go out and she advised that there was a problem recently with them. At 6;00pm, my wife went to do the dishes and there was no hot water. I again phoned your service dept and talked to Paul who advised that you do not do service after 6;00pm. He advised that he would have a Reliance Tech at the house early Sunday morning. Your Tech Paul 2060 arrived at 8;30am and immediately found the problem and fixed it and we had hot water. I am now a Senior but was always taught to do a job right the first time. Sending out a contractor to do service who is not concerned about your customer is very concerning. I would not recommend your Company based on service.

    Water Heater installation

    Wes from Reliance installed our replacement water heater today.It was a pleasure having him work in our home. He did an excellent job and fully described everything that he was going to do.
