    Sump pump

    This was my first experience of using Anta Plumbing, and the entire experience was excellent from the initial contact to completion of the job. The plumber arrived on time, was courteous and offered helpful suggestions. A follow-up was required which was expedited by the company's extremely polite and helpful telephone representatives. I wouldn't hesitate to use this company in the future on all of my plumbing needs. .

A sump pump is used to keep your home from flooding, and to solve dampness where the water table is above the foundation of a home.     burst pipe repair

    Richard from AnTa was outstanding - professional, polite, friendly, but most importantly good at his job and went the extra mile. There were a few challenges but at every turn he troubleshooted to find a solution and got our water back on.

    Thank you David for your feedback. We hoped you would accept our offer to thaw your pipes than repair them, but you chose to repair them only. This resolution was risky, because we were not able to check the connections. They had no choice but to re-do the connection of your pipes when later your water was thawed itself. In conclusion you saved $250 on thawing but plumbers took a risk and spent additional time to re-do the pipe work. These days we ask, all our customers to help out and be apart of our community. We have plumbers who have already worked 3 days with no sleep. These additional 2 hours have kicked him back but he managed to finish all of his appointments by 4am. I would like for this message to go out to our new customers who read our reviews. Please remember there are hundreds of people who have burst and frozen pipes right now, we need to help assist our plumbers as much as we can by giving them a chance to make every job count. And move as quickly as possible from one house to the next. If the procedure requires drywall to be removed, repair of a shut off valve needs to be done, we should let the technicians do their jobs. Our technicians have experience and know what they are talking about, so when they provide recommendations, we advise you to go ahead with the solution. We can help with every plumbing problem, you don't need any other plumbers, call us and let us know, we will rearrange the schedule to assist you. If we all remember that - "my house is only one out of thousands who need emergency assistance", we will all win. For example, two days ago a customer was on the waiting list had running water and didn't realize it. We called them and asked "Do you have running water now?" the customer replied "NO!, we still need a crew". When the crew arrived they opened the faucets and the water started running. Our crew spent an additional 40 minutes instead of driving to a customer who did not have water for 2 days in a row and she is disabled. To our potential new customers: please help us make it to all our appointments and cooperate with us to make sure nobody's house ends up in a flood. We would like to thank all customers who are very patient these upcoming days and thankful to our plumbers who work 20 hours a day because they feel bad to leave customers houses with no water even at 4am in the morning. Together we can build a better community with better services!

    Frozen and burst pipes, sheared off main valve

    I called Anta plumbing in a panic. Pipes froze, then burst at the main valve. We are talking total disaster, I honestly cannot think what else could have gone wrong. The service I received was exceptional. On top of being obviously technically excellent, the first "emergency" plumber (Igor) was extremely helpful - going above and beyond what anyone could have reasonably expected - he really helped us out of a bad situation, and then with planning and explaining what and why things needed to be done. Which they managed to do the very next morning (serious emergency repair/replacement). It was smooth, easy and very good value. The staff in the office are also very easy to talk to, and helpful. I am trying to think of different positive adjectives - they are simply the best experience I have had with paying someone to come into my home to fix a problem. And, it was an emergency. On top of it, the technicians were universally skilled, polite, careful about the house, and thorough.

In the office we have girls who not only answer the phones but know where the water meter is, how to turn the water off and what to do when you have water coming out of your pipes at 50 psi (water pressure). We love to provide total reassurance to you that your house is safe until we come back to replace your underground pipes. The city is very busy these days and city technicians are very limited to assist everybody.     Backup of sewage

    Recently I was experiencing a backup of sewage coming from the drain in the floor of my basement it was absolutely disgusting! I needed it dealt with quick! I had the plumber's phone number from a faucet they replaced last year. The plumber Yuriy came out and did a camera inspection of the drain and could see that the drain had a small break in it. Over the next couple of days my drain was fixed with a linear and I had a new back up valve installed at a way better price than expected. Super happy with this company and will for sure be adding them to my list of repair people.

    Stop Valve for Ktichen & Bathrooms

    They were available on quick notice but they're very pricey.I did not really have time to canvass and get more estimates. Considering that I supplied all the materials (stop valves and hoses) and that the work was just to cut the copper tubes, push the valves (no soldering) and connect the hoses, this was expensive labor. I asked them to quote on changing the drains (kitchen and 2 baths), install kitchen faucet, install 2 bathroom over-the-counter sinks and 2 bathroom faucets, they quoted nearly double compared to the guys that I eventually got. Their price is probably why I won't recommend them or get them again unless I am desperate.

This client is a 88 year old woman who lives solely on her pension, she has no husband all she has is a cat as her family. We repaired her drain and invoiced her "$0". Your probably wondering, why did Anta do this? We provided her free service because we appreciate the generations who built our pasts, that has provided us with a better TODAY. Its that simple! Let's take a look at your case, a plumber (who has had numerous amazing reviews here, on HOMESTARS - by the name of RICHARD came on Saturday afternoon to visit your house and provided a quote for replacement of shut off valves and supply lines to be installed for your kitchen sink, master sink and ensuite bathroom sink. He priced the project at $300.00 plus $39.00 of HST, this portion is collected by Canada Revenue Agency. We are very dissatisfied when we make our customers unhappy. We are a bit disappointed and baffled by this review because we do not understand what was really done wrong here: We provided a quote upfront, you were not charged for this visit, he provided his knowledge complimentary. We always follow up on reviews to find out what the reason is that the customer has asked the technician to go forward with the job after reviewing the quote. But we leave and the customer is not satisfied? :( I wish we could charge every customer "$0" like the commercials you see on TV, but our plumbers need to receive compensation for their services, and our phones need to be answered. We do love all of our customers no matter what. This is why we collect reviews, we don't pay for fake reviews. We watch how our plumbers represent the company and we hope you find a plumbing company that fits your needs.     Replace Vanity Trap, Flange,Drain & Shut off valves

    Fast response and excellent repair job. I felt the price was significantly higher than expected for the time required and the parts needed. I take responsibility for not getting the price quoted before the work was undertaken.

    Replaced toilet and old lead flange

    Very fast response to initial service request. Excellent customer service. Technician was very professional, honest, clean and polite and took the time to answer any questions. I highly recommend using this company for all of your plumbing needs. I will definitely use them again.

    Basement Floor Drain Backing Up from Kitchen Sink Discharge

    I found Anta website and LiveChat with the agent about my issue. After the chat, I spoke with the agent and she dispatched a technician to my home within 3 hours. Igor Y. came up and analyzes the possible root cause of the problem. His analysis made sense to me that the downstream pipe is clogged due to grease accumulated on the discharge pipe from the kitchen over the years. Water on that kitchen line (horizontal pipe leading to main drainage line) might be holding some water that rises the level when draining volume of water at once from the kitchen sink. I let him proceed snaking from the basement floor drain as initial course of action to clear the pipe. Then he ran a CCTV camera for about 80 feet down the drain until he hit the municipal sewage artery. The camera concludes how healthy my internal main drainage system after initial snaking and water flow test. Although the initial snaking solved the issue, I believe seeing the main drainage line in CCTV gave me a peace of mind even for $160 extra. I believe Igor Y. was skilled, honest and customer-friendly who accommodates my concerns and questions. I highly recommend Igor Y. and Anta Plumbing.

    Plumbing

    I called Anta Plumbing and expressed my concern about my pipes in my kitchen that had burst and flooded all over my kitchen floor when I had come home from a shopping trip. When I had called Anta plumbing I was frantic but the nice lady on the other end sent a technician over right away! A plumber came and helped me out. They fixed the pipe and calmed my nerves. I was soo happy by the outcome of their visit. They reassured me before they left that everything was clear and fixed and it shouldn't happen again. They explained to me the problem before they fixed it, and even asked my permission before he started! I loved that about the plumber. I will always call on Anta from now on!

    water softener installation

    Eddie identified our need for a water softener and installed one a couple of days later. I was impressed not only with his prompt and efficient response, but with the advice he provided on the kind of water softener that we needed. Eddie is "one in a million" and our experience with Anata is once again an "all star" performance.
