We are still waiting to hear what is going on with our front doors which were ordered before Thanksgiving 2016. After being told by our sales person that it would take 8 - 10 weeks. Although measurements were taken, we still are yet to hear when our front doors will arrive and this is February 2017. When we called our sales person in November, he laughed and said "Oh no, it takes 8 - 16 weeks." When I called again in January I was then told (by the same sales person) that our doors are custom so it was going to take longer and he had no idea why we
hadn't heard from anyone, but your garage doors are in right? Well they still aren't!
The people at the company had no idea that they had not even measured for the garage doors yet! Then suddenly someone showed up to measure the garage doors. Jerry seemed knowledgeable and helpful but he didn't know which type of doors he was measuring for. This set off some alarm bells for me. He told me that he would be back to install the doors and he suggested I call to find out when! At that point we got calls from 2 different people who said we would hear from a project coordinator about when the installation would happen. At this point we still haven't heard from them about front doors. But someone called to say that our garage doors would now be installed (January 2017), by yet a different person.
What a mess! This company needs to get its act together. I can understand delays, but that combined with a lack of communication make me worried about what kind of product I will be getting.
March 2017 - Our front doors were finally installed on February 28th. Installers did a good job but we were not happy with the glass, it was too transparent. We called the head office once to ask what might be done, they suggested we get in touch with our salesman. I called him 3 times and left messages each time. Finally I got a call back, and he seemed pleasant, offered to come by to look at it and offered to help resolve the problem. We went by the showroom on the weekend to look at our options with other glass designs. We left after he went to help another customer and didn't get back to us. I left a message 3 days later to follow up and to get next steps and then we were left a phone message in which he said that I was, "demanding to know what (he) was going to do about the front door, that we were blaming him for the mistake and frankly, he was going to do nothing about our front door ... He said, " I have to wash my hands of it... " We just called to ask about next steps! We are paying a lot of money for our front door and we want to get it right.
And this is customer service?!
