Great service, friendly staff! Prompt response; very helpful in explaining prevention. Very safe in the handling of the animals. I will continue to recommend AAA gates wildlife control to my neighbours.

    squirrel removal

recently moved into a home. soon realized that there was an animal in the attic. Gates came within 2-3 business days, and gave their honest opinion on how to fix the roof/who to call before they could come out again to give a quote and get rid of the squirrel problem. they finished the job, and came back out once more after at our request to ensure that the squirrel really had gone. update: we kept hearing the squirrel and gates came out multiple times to say there was no way for a squirrel to gain access. they stated it might be mice. however, my husband eventually found the hole where the squirrel was coming into the house. gates then came and finished the job, they had found 2 more holes where the squirrel was coming in. hopefully this is the end of it.

    Raccoon-proof deck

Contacted Gates when my neighbour noticed a whole family of raccoons emerging from under my deck, which covers the entire backyard. I was expecting a big dollar amount to clear them out and prevent them from coming back in, but the estimate provided by Joel was very reasonable. Scott did the work, which involved digging around the perimeter of the deck and installing heavy gauge screening. I was particularly concerned about work being done in the neighbours' yards but all digging was done very carefully and with respect for the property. I hope I don't need to call them back but will not hesitate to do so.

    Wild life removal

I've called on AAA Gates Wildlife control a few times over the past few years. I seem to have a backyard that animals find to be welcoming. I'm pleased to say that each time Gates has come to the rescue. I've recommended them to friends and family due to their knowledge, service levels and approach. A great help as both times I've called I was quite nervous but I felt relieved as soon as i spoke with the Gates team.

    squirrel in soffit

Gates is significantly more expensive than some wildlife removal companies, but they are one of very few that seem to be insured. I get very nervous when I see someone the age of my sons going up on our high roof. With Gates, there is at least some peace of mind in that their workers are covered. A few years ago, we called Gates when our neighbour thought squirrels were entering on our roof. The workers determined that they weren't entering and didn't charge us anything. Recently, after we actually saw the bushy tail disappear under the soffit, Dan from Gates installed a one-way door and screening for the base price. He meshed up another vulnerable area for an extra charge (as expected). When he returned to seal up the original entry, we asked him to check a hidden, vulnerable junction that we had just spotted from our balcony on the other side of the house. He checked that and meshed it off with no extra charge. His service was prompt, friendly and professional. When there was a delay, he called. I hope the problem is resolved. Time will tell. But, if there is any further problem, my hunch is that the company would be helpful and forthcoming.

    Raccoon

I was having a problem with a raccoon using my second floor balcony as a latrine. I called AAA Gates and Brad came to assess the situation exactly when promised. We discussed possible solutions and their merits (or lack of). It was decided to try and make the adjacent arbour less raccoon friendly so that it would be very difficult for the raccoons to get up onto the balcony. The installation took place exactly when promised and was very neatly done. They even returned at my request to relocate some of the equipment. Since the installation was completed, the raccoons have found another place to do their business and we can now enjoy our balcony without a disgusting mess. AAA Gates was professional and delivered a solution that worked at a reasonable price. I highly recommend them!

    Raccoon Inspection

I called Gates Wildlife last week to check out potential raccoon entry points on our roof. We met this morning with Joel - he was very polite and courteous and he did a quick and efficient inspection (and luckily we do not have raccoons in our attic!). Overall, our communications with Gates Wildlife were very professional and they were able to accommodate an early morning appointment so as not to disrupt our work day.

    Squirrel Removal

We had squirrels in our roof. The technician, Jamie, came promptly and kept at it until the problem was solved. The holes by which the squirrels were entering our house were hard to find but after a number of attempts, the problem seems to be solved! There was one minor miscommunication with the staff that was quickly dealt with in a prompt and professional manner by Jamie and Jennifer at the office. It was so nice to deal with a company with good customer service. I wouldn't hesitate to refer them!

    removed squirrels from my attic

I contacted Gates Wildlife as I had a problem with squirrels in my attic. I am so please with not only the work that was done but the way I was treated by their tech person Chris. It was explained to me in depth what they would do to help me with this problem. They are covered with insurance and WSIB so if there had been a fall because of the severe weather conditions they have coverage. I would recommend Gates Wildlife to anyone having a problem with these little rodents or any other animal settling in their home. I am squirrel free and if a problem like this happens again I will have not problem contacting Gates Wildlife for assistance.

    Wildlife Removal

My experience with AAA Gates Wildlife Control was quite exceptional. In addition to being punctual, friendly and knowledgable they differentiate themselves by providing free estimates and as well as their knowledge and insight. In my experience the Wildlife Technician (Chris,) came to my home and spent a considerable amount of time trying to determine the source of the animal noises I was hearing in my townhome. When there ended up being no unwelcome wildlife on my premises (and thus no problem to be solved) there was no charge to me for this service/his time. This is an example of a company who has a big picture view toward growing their business through building trust and delivering exceptional service to clients, generating repeat business and referrals, versus many competitors who take a more shortsighted approach. I wouldn't hesitate to contact them again if the need arose. One other note for anyone looking for help with Wildlife Control - AAA Gates Wildlife Removal is WSIB insured - this is essential if you're going to have someone climbing on your roof or in general doing work on your property.

    Answer from pro:

Liz, thank you for taking the time to write such a great review. You are 100% right about us having a "big picture view toward growing our business through building trust and delivering exceptional service to clients". We are very proud of the fact that over 50% of our business is generated from our customers referring their neighbours, friends and families. You are also correct regarding your comment about hiring only WSIB (Workplace Safety Insurance Board) insured companies. If the company hired is not WSIB insured and the worker becomes injured while on their property, the customer could be held liable for their injuries. All the best, Brad Gates,B.Sc. Owner/President
