    Chimney Repair

    I wanted to use the fireplace in our century home but wanted to make sure it was safe first. I called ANOTHER chimney company who scared the hell out of me and told me I needed $10,000 worth of repairs. I was very discouraged and decided to get a second opinion. I spoke to A1 and they put me at ease right away. Bob told me my chimney was probably fine, and sent his inspector/cleaner out. He cleaned the chimney and patched up the mortar in the firebox. Total bill was less than $200. (The other company told me I needed to completely REBUILD my firebox at a cost of $2,000!) I was very pleased with the practical advice and service.

    What a team!!! From the first phone call, A1 has proven themselves to be the best. With urgency required to correct a possible hazardous situation as a result of damage done by another chimney company, Owen and Kelly got Shawn in quickly to remove a chimney liner that was ripped and blocking the chimney shaft and thereby remove any possibility of a health hazard happening Shawn is such a hard worker and clean worker with a great knowledge of his work and a great personality to match. It was a pleasure to meet someone like this. Thanks Shawn Owen who I first spoke to and Rick then came in and completed installing the liner with equal superior service in a wonderfully personable way. I don't usually take the time to write reviews but felt compelled to do this in appreciation of the work done by this great team we met. Thanks guys Sam

    Thanks for taking the time to write your review, Sam! I'm REALLY glad you called when you did, as it could have been much worse. These types of chimney blockages sometimes happen. I definitely recommend that you get some carbon monoxide detectors set up in the house. CO can really creep up on you and with detectors, you can catch these dangers much sooner.

    Chimney Cleaning and Inspection

    I called and they answered. We agreed upon a day and time. On the day they called before and arrived on time. Professional workmanship, a good attitude, and a perfect clean up. Priced as promised.

    Chimney cleaning & damper repair

    My experience with A1 Quality Chimney Cleaning and Repair was a very positive one from start to finish. First I arranged for a chimney inspection and cleaning. They were very accommodating and quick to respond. This was followed up by another visit for a damper replacement. Being on a stringent timeline because of our house closing date, they replaced the damper the next day. Their staff are courteous, professional and very knowledgeable...and do not leave a mess behind when they are done. I will always use A1 Chimney Cleaning & Repair. Thanks guys for a job well done!

    chimney cleaning and repair

    I just recently had some work done on the chimney and the team (Kelly, Owen & Bob) at A1 were fantastic! They were the most reasonably priced and walked me through the entire process on what I could expect. No added costs or trying to upsell me on things that weren't required. I will be a long term client and I suggest to others you give them a try, you will not be dissapointed.

    Removal of nest from Chimney

    After numerous failed attempts with various companies to have chimney to gas fireplace looked at for blockage at top called A-1 today and actually had someone answer! Kelly was very helpful and said he would try to see if one of his crew in the area could stop by today. Sean came this afternoon and removed the bird's nest quickly. Great service! Highly recommend!     Chimney cleaning

    We had the A-1 quality technician come and inspect our gas furnace chimney liner and do a thorough cleaning. After an hour of hard work he professionally put the ducting back together and provided us with a report on the condition. Owen (the owner) then went the extra mile came by assisted us with the liner replacement. Very personal service and definately speaks to the customer commitment A1 Quality Chimney provides its customer. Excellent service, would recommend working with Owen any day.

    Chimney Sweep & Inspection

    The technician arrived after a minor re-scheduling mix up, and proceeded to clean and inspect my wood fireplace chimney quickly and professionally. He took care to block off any soot/dust from entering the living room. He was very professional and courteous. I'm looking forward to the first fire of the season reassured about the safety of the chimney. Bill

    Chimney repair

    I had had repair work done to my chimney by A1 Quality Chimney a few years ago. When the furnace service company had a question about my chimney I could not answer, and that affected my compliance with building code, I called A1 Quality Chimney to see if they were able to find my records and send me some information. I was provided straightforward answers, and Owen was not only able to find my records but actually sent me additional supporting documentation, all in a very timely and courteous manner. Really went above and beyond, especially several years after the initial repair.

    Chimney clean up

    A-1 did a chimney work for us just recently ... the front office was very professional, enthusiastic and timely in all their communication. Actual work was done by a knowledgeable professional - he has done an impeccable job, leaving it almost cleaner than it was before the work took place. It took no effort and very little time on my part ... all my questions were patiently answered and all steps of work carefully explained. Future recommendations and considerations were also communicated at the end. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend these guys to anyone.
