8 month's pregnant and highly STRESSED, my nine year old and I just moved back to Toronto, staying with family members, struggling to find a new apartment and Somehow, we acquired bed bugs. I CANNOT put it into words the amount of stress and physical exhaustion I was experiencing at the time. You will have to imagine, and then times it by 100!...I was in charge of finding a company to spray a 3 story home for these horrible little creatures and found EVERY company far too expensive. So, FIRSTLY, Advantage was affordable in comparison to it's "competition" (which there is none in my eyes!) SECONDLY, Paulo communicated with me by cell phone, multiple times even on weekends; constantly easing my worries to the best of his abilities. I was concerned about the damage a pesticide might cause my unborn cild, my 9 year old, 3 year old nefew and our pets. Paulo was hONEST and LISTENED WITh EMPAThY to every word I had to say. Armed with mass information and directions on how to prepare our home PROPERLY for spraying, we are free from bed bugs since January 2009. IN DIRECT RELATION TO PAULO and is technicians professional and above standard service, I decided to as a precaution spray our NEW apartment the morning of our move! On both occasions, the technician was on time, professional and understanding (coming at 8am on a Saturday). LASTLY, I know of a landlord that could possibly have a problem with these invading bugs and I am RECOMMENDINg Advantage for this job. ThANK YOU TO PAULO and his entire company for the outstanding service, compassion, understanding, guidance, and peace of mind they provided myself and the members of my family.

We contact Advantage to rid of cockroaches in rental apartment and same as the other comments. He arrived very late and did a very messy job applying the gel application. Wouldn’t recommend to anyone. Better more professional companies out there.

I returned home from vacation to discover that I had brought bed bugs home with me! I immediately called Advantage Pest Control to enquire about their services. The gentlemen I spoke with was very informative and put me at ease when I learned I could have a technician at my home promptly (the next day) to remove the problem. They showed up within the 3 hour window they gave me and did the service fairly quickly. I was happy to discover my problem was fixed! And although they offered me a second service to come back for free, I didn't even need it! Needless to say, bed bugs are gone and I was very happy with the overall experience from Advantage Pest Control. I would definetly recommend their service to a friend!

I've had bed bugs for 5 months, they are a miserable creature to live with, and nearly impossible to kill. I've had 5 services from Advantage (one of which they gave me for free) from 3 of their guys. John was friendly. Unfortunately I'm still infested, and have decided to go in a different direction.

I had never dealt with a wasp problem previously so I decided to ask a friend and he told me he had used Advantage Pest control for a similar problem. I asked for their contact info and called immediately. I found them to be professional, affordable, and effective. I would definitely use their services again.

I was terrified and stressed out about these bites on my body…it turned out to be bed bugs. Paolo was the service manager that took my call and he was above and beyond helpful. He was more than happy to help me out, he spoke with me on the phone and calmed me down with reassurance that this problem would be solved. He was very kind and friendly to both myself and my family. I would have gone crazy with fear and anxiety had it not been for his help…he also took calls from me repeatedly and listened to my panic and continued to tell me the facts and reassured me that this could be taken cared of. The technician that came out to my home was extremely wonderful as well. He too, was an exceptional person who really really put much effort into this problem. He was very helpful and thorough. He reassured me and gave me the information I needed when he was all finished up with the service. Thank you for your services.

True professional service. I was so mortified when I discovered I had bedbugs. Very upset and distraught I called Paolo who assured me that with the proper treatment and dilagence he could help me get rid of my problem. He talked to me about exactly what the treatment would be and how I could help the process along. He advised me to talk to other companies but it was Paolo who made me feel the most comfortable and that I could understand this problem. The technician that came out was friendly and efficient. The promt service (they came out the next day) and the quality of service were amazing. Although I hope to never need pest control again, if I do I will use this company.

I was killing about 20 ants per day for a whole week in the winter time, which means they were living in our house. I emailed 5 different companies and got a response within hours from Paul. The price is about $100 more compared to others however, they are the only ones that guarantees a 1 year warranty, others only guaranteed 6 or 7 months. Plus, Advantage Pest Control did the whole house not just the problem area. The exterminator was a very friendly guy with 18 years of experience, he also educated us on what to do to prevent this from happening again. After they sprayed the whole house, that same day I counted 75 dead ants on our window ledge, who knows how many more dead ones were inside the window. The company came back in the fall to spray the exterior of the house at not extra charge. This company specializes in carpenter ants so, I wanted to deal with the best. We contacted this company for cockroach extermination. The first time they came 2 hours late. He applied a cockroach bait gel around the house, mostly in the kitchen. They claim that their product is safe for children and pets because they put it in places where it is not accessible. However, he was very careless when applying the gel as there were many places where the gel was easily accessible by a child, such as on the outside of kitchen cabinets. I also found a few places where the gel had dropped off onto the floor when he was walking around the house. Two months later we still had cockroaches so they came for a return visit. Again, the gel was placed in places where it was too accessible - I even found my dog licking it off the cabinets. I don't know yet if the second application will get rid of the cockroaches but if you have children or pets you should be very wary about using this company. Also, I have since found out that you can buy the same product that they use (Maxforce gel in a syringe) online and apply it yourself for much less cost.
