We chose Alliance Floor Source for its good reviews on HomeStars and they did not let us down. Our main hallway, stairs and upstairs landing were in desperate need of a makeover. After meeting with Timea, we decided to refinish the solid oak front hall flooring and stairs, order a runner carpet for the stairs and carpet the upstairs landing and second floor. Alliance’s sanding and staining team worked very efficiently to eliminate water and pet stains on our nearly seventy-year old floor and after two days of their hard work, we had hardwood that gleamed like new. They also connected us with Joseph from Straight Edge Tiling and his assistant Steven who did an expert porcelain tiling job for our front entrance, removing the old hardwood and creating a perfectly level plywood floor before he began. Karl offered a wide selection of carpetting samples on his first visit and we chose a taupe polyester carpet with a soft, cushiony underpad that is a joy to walk on. Everything works well together and our home now has an elegant new look and feel. All the staff we dealt with at Alliance, from Lehel and Timea to their various work teams and associates were professional and hardworking. We highly recommend Alliance Flooring.

I found out about Alliance through HomeStars, so it only seemed appropriate to leave my own review. From the inspection to shopping for materials to the actual installation, Alliance made the process as easy as possible. Very friendly service and great interaction with customers. Even got a couple freebies here and there. So far I am loving the results - I would recommend Alliance across the board.

I learned about Alliance Floor Source through their great reviews, and now I'm happy to add my own great review. They are a friendly, affordable (my actual cost was actually less than the original estimate), and accommodating company. I have a small bachelor/studio condo, so space and work area were very limited. But all the Alliance Floor Source staff were very accommodating. In Store: I was never rushed when making my choice of new flooring. I really appreciate that I was never pressured into anything I wasn't absolutely sure about. We didn't even talk about prices till the end. The staff were not pushy and did not coax me into buying higher priced flooring. I really appreciate that they wanted me to choose what I was most happy with. It was SO easy to book an installation date. I'd received work through Home Depot before where everything is done through 3rd parties and it was a mess (not to mention questionable workmanship!). But this was easy and I was surprised with how soon they could complete the job. Installation: the floor looks phenomenal and there was nice attention to detail, especially inside my closets and around small corners. As I said, I live in a very small studio condo so this work must not have been easy, but it was well done. The only minor criticism I have I have is that there was a bit of miscommunication between the original work details and the gentleman that came to tear up the old carpet and tiles. The man that came to do the measurements took extensive notes, on what was to be done, but they didn't seem to get passed on in-full to the "demolition" man (eg: he didn't know to pull out the carpet and tile from inside the closets and under the kitchen appliances, yet I had discussed this with the original staff member that came to measure the work area). I'm glad I was on-hand to attend to those details. Otherwise, everything went very well, no leftover work materials were left over afterward, and I would truly recommend this company to others.

I love my floors. They look beautiful. Lehel and Timea are wonderful to work with. They provide honest, competitive pricing and complete their work as promised. We had a flood right before our floors were to be put in and they accommodated our schedule. The workers work really hard and they do a thorough job. We had a minor glitch with the baseboards around a very curved wall with minor damage to the dry wall. They rectified it immediately and as best they could. It was such a tough area to work with. I'm only mentioning it because I wanted to let everyone know that they are awesome in customer service. Crossing my fingers that everything will stick and that the flooring won't have any buckling or unevenness. We choose top of the line Karndean, Bearwood vinyl planks and decided to glue it down rather than floating. Note: You'll need to budget a painter afterwards to caulk and paint the baseboards. Kudos to Robert and his ENTIRE family who worked on the long weekend to accommodate our schedule.

Alliance had a large selection of flooring to choose from with a wide range of prices.The way they laid the flooring (lengthwise) makes the area look bigger. The installers left the area clean when their work was completed. Quarter round in two curved areas was not initially installed to our satisfaction. However, this was rectified.

I called Alliance for information about fixing a gouge in my floor. The man who answered spent quite a while explaining the process and why it would be expensive and time-consuming to do. I appreciate his help and willingness to not sell me on the job. If I go ahead, I will probably use this company.

Alliance Flooring Solutions was recommended to my family by a friend and contractor to install hardwood flooring and tiles. They were extremely professional and knowledgeable. The owner, Lehel, ensured all of the work was completed on time and within budget. Their advise on flooring type, colour and style was invaluable. I contacted Lehel again when I needed to repair some damage to laminate flooring before selling a condo. He remembered me and family (despite having done work for use over 18 months ago). I was in a rush as the condo was up for sale and I had an open house the next day. Lehel went to my condo and did the work himself to ensure it was completed on time. The floors look brand new. Amazing service - thanks Lehel!

We contracted Alliance Floor Sources to supply and install new floors - hardwood, laminate and ceramic tiles for an extensive house renovation. Their recommendations on type of material and design were just right. The installation was done by expert professional who addressed our requirements. All worksites were left clean at the end of each day. All materials and installation were provided as promised, on time and on budget. Lehel quickly addressed every question and requests for assistance. Highly recommend Alliance Floor Source.

Alliance installed my flooring in a very satisfactory and efficient fashion. The condo was sold soon after, but before the new owner took possession it became apparent that there was a manufacturing defect in the new flooring and it would have to be replaced under warranty. Alliance gladly complied and the new owner got a brand new floor.

My son and I hired this company to replace a carpeted floor in his condo with laminate. The choice was extensive, reasonable and work was completed in a timely manner. Beautifully done, very pleased!
