We were having trouble with an air quality issue in our house. I found Amosite on HomeStars and decided to try them. The owner Dave answered my call and said that even though it wasn't really within their company's services he would come to the house to try to help. He came to our house to help me troubleshoot and set us up with an air scrubber and helped me contact a chemical removal company for additional expertise. Dave and everyone at Amosite were complete professionals who only wanted to help us out. At no point was his help about money, he just wanted to do whatever was right for us. Unbelievably amazing people. Other companies would have charged us thousands for the work he did and for the equipment rental. I can't say enough about what a wonderful person Dave is, and how ethical and professional his company is. Thank you so much to Dave and the people at Amosite for helping us out.

I spoke with David regarding asbestos removal in my home. I sent him pictures of the renovations and he was able to advise me. David is very honest, knowledgeable and friendly. I would recommend David to my friends. Thanks David for your honesty. Carol

I called Amosite to discuss some concerns I had about my new home. Being a first time home buyer, I had some worries about asbestos after starting some renovations. David answered the phone and immediately put all of my worries at rest. He took his time to reassure me and helped me feel safe in my new home. He gave me resources and information that were pertinent to our situation and the worries we had. He showed interest in my well-being and finances which I respect greatly. Without David and Amosite, I would have spent a lot more money and had a lot more anxiety about the situation I was in. I cannot thank David enough for his help and would 100% recommend Amosite to anyone I know.

David was very quick to respond and provided guidance with clear experience. David reviewed the job and made recommendations while educating me on options and likely approaches taken by other contractors. Safety and cleanliness were clear priorities for David and his team and all onsite workers were friendly and pleasant to deal with. The team communicated each step of the project and updated me as they progressed. Work was done thoroughly and the resulting space was clean and ready for next phase of project.

David and Gabriel were amazing and extremely helpful! They were prompt to pick up my call (at night... I was expecting a voicemail) and David sent Gabriel the next day for assessment. The prompt response and the explanations were invaluable. My realtor and I were impressed. We both joked that we hope we never need Amosite's services but if we do, we'll call them right away. The level of service provided without even being a customer are top-notch. They show great care, were very professional and ethical.

Fantastic. We found asbestos-containing material in the house and David of Amosite generously helped us through a challenging situation with no charge. We reimbursed him his cost of testing two samples. All of his consultation and assistance was pro bono. We hired a different company that was cutting corners, with an owner that was very confrontational and defensive about any questions being asked. And he was not going to provide the proper paperwork to prove the abatement was completed properly - which is required to protect the value of the house. Be very careful, that other company had 20 reviews with a very good rating. We wouldn’t have known what was missing if we hadn’t talked to someone who knew better. And what expert with decades of experience and busy with his company is going to spend time on the phone providing advice… for free? That’s what David did, and then dealt with the owner of the other company directly on our behalf to get the situation resolved. I highly recommend giving Amosite a call. Regardless of who you decide to hire, talking to Amosite will be time well spent. The situation arose after we had scheduled a company for the abatement. The owner was really good to deal with. But one of his crew members wasn’t feeling well (during the time that COVID distancing was becoming a high priority) so he wasn’t able to send the crew. With best intentions he recommended this smaller company who he’d dealt with before. We made a rush decision as we had a major project underway in the house and we had the floor torn up in about half of our house. That turned out to be a mistake. They left out several of the aspects of the job that were agreed upon and left pieces of asbestos containing material scattered around after the job was supposedly done. My husband dealt with the individual directly to clean up the obvious missed items, but then spent many hours in a P100 respirator and protective gear doing a thorough cleaning. (try finding a P100 mask in March of 2020). After seeing the lack of quality work, it came as little surprise that the owner wasn’t going to provide adequate paperwork. David offered to call that person and assist him in being able to provide the proper documents. Without David's help, I don't know how we would have resolved the situation. If you have any asbestos questions or issues, or anything else in the realm of what Amosite does, give them a call. Excellent service. I needed to get an asbestos board removed, which was close to my furnace and one of the ducts. Dave was the only one to call me back when I left a message regarding my issue. In fact he called me back within 10 minutes. Dave explain what needed to be done and asked me to send a picture. The same afternoon, Dave had a crew come out and perform the task. The crew was polite fast and did not leave any mess. Also the cost was told up front, so no issues there. The whole process was done in an afternoon. I will definitely deal with Dave in the future, if I have other issues, such as plumbing, etc. Great work to Dave and his team. Keep up the good work. Dan

Exceptional Service! I had some asbestos boards around the venting of my furnace and wanted them removed. In researching the different companies, I chose Amosite because of the good reviews. David came by to assess my situation and I found him to be a very personable, honest and knowledgeable person who really cares about his community and values his customers. Gabriel came over the following week to do the removal. He was very polite, professional and he did a great job. He left my furnace room very clean. I called amosite as it was the first company that popped up on my homestars search. Spoke with Dave about possibly having asbestos in my basement. Dave was very informative and honest asked me to send him a picture of the item in question. He got back to me after reviewing the picture told me exactly what it was and how to dispose of it! All at no cost. Dave was very helpful and honest! Would definitely recommend them!
