My story is simple. AC bought in 2007. Meticulous and timely install. Great work. Bought two extended warranties for the furnace and the AC. Had a problem with the AC twice and after repeatedly proving that I had an extended warranty, the work was done. This summer, I guess the good faith ran out. After 5 calls, 2 voicemails, emailing them a copy of the warranty (funny how they didn't have it on file) repeatedly emails on the hottest week with no AC, I finally gave up and called a third party. My issue, honestly, is not that the work wasn't done nor that the AC is possibly a lemon. My issue was also not waiting. All I wanted, which I made clear in my messages time and time again, was the common courtesy of a reply. Even if it was "Hey, we're busy, we'll send someone out in 15 days". I even held off writing the review. Alas, 17 days since the last message and still no response. So to someone looking for AC and Furnaces, by all means, Applewood will do a great job of installation and the price will be competitive. However, if it breaks, don't hold your breath.

When our furnace died in the middle of winter we had to get a new one right quick. We didn't know anyone in the business and took a chance and called Applewood Air Conditioning Ltd. Within a day of our call Applewood came out and accessed our needs. And two days later Applewood’s installation team removed our old 28 year old furnace and installed a new high efficiency unit. The sale person was very knowledgeable and confident in recommending the right size units for our home. At no time did we feel sales pressure to upgrade or purchase equipment we may or may not need. The installation team came exactly when they said they would and completed the job without a break until the job was finished. The work was done with care and pride. I can’t complain about a single thing. Applewood’s staff were friendly and able to answer my questions about the installation and use of our new furnace and related equipment. After the installations were complete we received personal follow up calls asking us how everything worked out and if we were happy. The fact that Applewood sales staff followed up after the job was done and paid for really reinforced our decision to use Applewood. In the event we have problems then I am confident Applewood would show us the same customer care they provided prior and during our installations. I would have no reservations recommending Applewood for all your heating and cooling needs, they certainly came through for us on a cold night in March. I installed AC through through applewood with the understanding that applewood assume builders warranty for furnace installed by other . Builder has two years warranty and applewood initially agreed to assume the warranty of the builder.Furnace was not running properly due to motherboard that need to be changed . I get changed by other as applewood refused to provide labour to change the motherboard.Better install your ac's with credible and reputable company who assume warranty for furnace for at least two years if you install ac and make sure it is written in your invoice or contract . Normally dealer of furnace who installed furnace say that warranty voids if ac installed by others.

From the time I approached Applewood for a quote to the time they drove away after installing the unit, my experience has exceeded my expectations. From sales (Brendan) to installer (Mike and Rami), I was very impressed. Good price, on time and courteous.

Our Old AC unit was approx. 15 years old and nearing its "deathbed". We contacted several contractors, some of whom didnt bother responding. The exception was the Team at Applewood. Prior to engagement, we visited their owned facility and were impressed. The sales Rep, Bob Ross took the time to meet with,and visit, our home (no other contractor did that) and so we chose Applewwod. Our unit was installed in July 2013 and we were and continue to be verry happy. The professionalism and courtesy exhibited during the installation by their own installation employees, and the registration and paperwork completed for the warranty and rebate incentives, contributed to our total satisfaction. Overall, a job well done and we look forward to working with Applewood in servicing our home with cooling and heating needs in the future. We would highly recommend this Company

In the middle of this summer heat wave, we were faced with a broken central air conditioner. We had no idea who to call for a replacement and certain reservations, until a friend told us about Applewood. Shortly after I phoned them a Salesman (Greg)came to our house. He was courteous and pleasant and sat down and explained every detail of the transaction and the unit we were interested on. In a short time this gentleman managed to calm our fears. We bought the unit and en few days, they came to installed it. Another surprise. The two gentlemen (Mike and Jason)who came to our house to install the unit, were also courteous, pleasant, clean and guided us through every move they made during the installation. They explained to us how to care for and the operation of the unit. We felt like a heavy burden was lifted off us.The third surprise was a visit from the salesman, (Greg)who came to our house to say hello and inspect the installation and functioning of the unit. The unit has been working fine since then. The fourth surprise came when I had to call their office. I spoke to several agents and at least 2 managers (Laura and Brendan)and found them all to be very pleasant and willing to answer our queries.We thank Applewood for their fantastic service and personnel. We are willing to recommend this company to any one L. and M. Barrios, Brampton, On.

If you have heating under warranty and you installed A/C with another company and Applewood Air said that your warranty is voided it is NOT TRUE!!!. It was winter and our heating stopped working, we also installed A/C with another company. After a guy came and charged money for fixing heating, even through it was under warranty, he said that because i installed A/C with another company the warranty is voided. I was not very happy, so decided to check why warranty is voided. i called the company and they said it is under TARION warranty act that if you modify heating system then it voided the warranty. Called TARION and they said that there is no such RULE. So i went to BBB and after a month all money they charged were refunded. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM!!!

I've been an Applewood customer for 7 years. My first house we (and the builder) went with Applewood for the furnace and later a humidifier and I had nothing but trouble with that system (heating and cooling problems and lots of service calls). Admittedly, we bought the AC from someone else, but Applewood would come out in the winter months too for heating problems. I blamed my builder for the issues I had with that system until now... My second house and this time I purchased a Carrier AC from them. In my first year everything worked great. The second year, a service call needed to get the AC going (blowing warm air) at the beginning of the season. This year, blowing warm air again, they tell me that the coil is leaking and needs replacing. They sent a tech to diagnose on the visit, no parts in hand to perform the repair. I call the office, they say two people are needed to change the coil. Today, coil is replaced by one person and they hand my wife a bill of $400 for the 2 service calls (oh, btw, the coil is supposedly under warranty, no estimate was provided). My wife phones me at work with obvious concern over the charges. I ask her to wait so I can dispute the costs and she says, the tech called the office and was instructed not to leave until he receives payment from her. These thugs are cash grabbers selling and installing crap. Be warned...

~ Couldn’t have asked for better services and quality. I received a quote right away and the next day they were installing my central air system. They worked fast, were friendly and answered all of my questions without beating around the bush. Everything they had to say and all of their answers to me were straight forward and simple. I enjoyed doing business with these guys, they are really great and have some of the best prices around.

My wife and I had been thinking about replacing our furnace for the past couple of years now. We no longer could hold it off when a couple of weeks ago it decided not to work. I needed to find a replacement and fast, so when I came across Applewood Air, it sounded like a good company and thought I would give it a try. When I called they were pleasant to talk to and told me everything I needed to know. Two days later they were here replacing my furnace and I am happy with their work.
