I called Aubrey after reading his great reviews on Homestars and he definitely lived up to them. He was on time, professional and reasonably priced. And he was also great with my 2 year old who was very interested in his toolbox! He efficiently fixed our refrigerator and then moved on to our dryer. He needed a part and had to come back the next day. He refused payment until the job was done to his satisfaction. The next day he was again on time and efficient. While completing the initial repair on the dryer, he encountered a FAR larger problem that I suspect most other fellows would have just ignored because it required some nasty, dusty work. Aubrey takes great pride in his work and would not leave until the issue was totally fixed, safe and cleaned up. Aubrey was terrific and I would not hesitate to call him again. He's a lovely man and a real professional.

Our old washing machine had developed a slow, trickle leak. Aubrey came out and took his time to diagnose where the leak was coming from. He then ordered the part and came back to install it. He was very nice and very knowleadgeable and really knows his stuff. I will definitely use him again and have recommended him.

Aubrey was easy to contact. He confirmed the time on the day of the visit. He called to let me know he would be slightly late. He is very low key and professional. He took care to protect the floor before moving the dishwasher. Aubrey pointed out the problem and outlined the cost effective solution. He works diligently and carefully and does not stop to take calls or other wise waste time. He was also willing to make a call in downtown Toronto that others were not. Highly recommended.

mj Aubrey arrived at the planned time and was very efficient doing the work. He has an excellent manner and his rates were as he estimated on the phone. I will continue to use this service because of the great experience we had with this repair service.

Our Kenmore fridge had stopped working a couple of days before Christmas and were in dire need of having it repaire. I called a few appliance repair companies and since it was so close to Christmas, some of them could only come the following week. Only 2 appliance repair guys said they possibly come have a look on Christmas eve and Aubrey was the guy that actually came to repair our fridge and we're glad he did. After discussing with him the problem, he already knew what the issue was. The starter relay was not working so he replaced it and it the fridge started to cool down. I was ready to buy a new fridge but Aubrey saved our fridge and our food too. Not to mention that he's a nice guy as well. Thanks again Aubrey

I call Aubrey this morning to see if he could fix my elderly mother's stove. He said he had a lot of calls but would try and fit her in this morning. And he did. He was fast and courteous and was able to fix her stove without charging too much - time and materials. He was fantastic and I will certainly call him again if we ever have any trouble with any appliance and would certainly recommend him.

Our Bosch dishwasher was not draining properly. After looking at the homestars reviews I decided to try Aubrey. He answered the phone directly, diagnosed the issue in about a minute and helped me solve the problem without even making a service call. I'll certainly be calling Aubrey for any future appliance problems and I'm happy to recommend him.

Aubrey, despite repeated offers of money, declined payment because he could not repair our oven. Aubrey is a very honourable, good gentleman, though I still disagree with his decision! :)

Front load Samsung washer stopped draining and spinning on Sunday. Though he was very busy, he was able to come in 48 hours, assessed the problem, fixed it quickly, tested and left the work area tidy. Thanks Aubrey.

Aubrey and I played telephone tag for a while, but he persisted, until finally catching me at home in the mid-evening. I explained the problem with the dishwasher (only 4 yrs old), and he immediately offered a diagnosis that I could test myself (being reasonably handy with tools). He was right on the money; half an hour later I was back in business with a fully functional machine. The other guys I contacted (Elite -- you can see their reviews on this site, too), were going to charge me $98 just to show up and make a diagnosis (oh, and let's not forget the $3.50 fuel surcharge), no guarantee of a fix. Aubrey got no money out of this service call, but he'll get no end of recommendations from me to all my friends -- and he's the first and only guy I'll call the next time I have an appliance problem.
