    Hand scrapped Hardwood

I was looking for the scrapped hardwood. My intention was to just look around and get an idea how much it would cost me. I heard from friend about Brampton Hardwood company and his positive experience with the company. So I went there and I was really happy with the courteous and professional service I end up buying the wood worth more than $ 6K from Sales person Vandana. She answered my questions and provided me with the guidance regarding my project. I really recommend this company to others. Just go there and experience the positive experience. Thank you.

    Answer from pro:

    Home Floors

I had a great experience shopping with Brampton Hardwood. They have lots to choose from and the prices are great. The sales rep, Vandana Gupta, was very knowledgeable about the products. She took her time walking me through the different products and gave me great advice. I was able to pick up the wood on the same day. Very smooth process. I am very pleased with my new hardwood floors!!!

    Answer from pro:

It is quite affordable, but also extremely durable and beautiful. We also take pride in being the only hardwood flooring retailer to offer instant cash & carry service on almost all products in our showroom. Our customers love the convenience of choosing, paying and picking up their new hardwood flooring in one visit. Enjoy your fantastic new floor!

    Kitchen and Home Office Reno

We'd been shopping around for flooring in the past and I returned to Brampton Hardwood not only because of the selection and pricing, but also because of the service. I remembered Lina from our first visit to the Gordon Mackay location. (We'd also visited the Brampton location.) Lina was INCREDIBLY helpful and quite a character - a pleasure to deal with! I purchased 2 different types of flooring from her. One of my choices was a special order and unfortunately, I wasn't able to wait for it. She found me a gorgeous substitute and even helped arrange the installation with a VERY tight turnaround! I was told my second choice of flooring was out of stock at another location. However, Lina went to work to find me what I needed! She called around and managed to find me just enough of the "out of stock" flooring to complete my project. She also gave me a fantastic deal! As I told Lina when I left the store: thanks to her help, she and Brampton Flooring now have a customer for life. I've already begun to recommend the Gordon Mackay location to friends!

    Answer from pro:

Wow Heather, what a fantastic review! We are so pleased that your service experience was positive, as top customer satisfaction is what Lina and the rest of the Brampton Hardwood Floors team continuously strive for. Thank you for the 10-star rating, your continued business and especially for offering to send other customers to us. Referrals from happy customers are the best indicator that we are fulfilling our clients needs in the best way possible. Enjoy your beautiful new hardwood floor.

    Various Woods for Reno

Lina at the Gordon MacKay location is as honest and no nonsense as you can hope for. She even kept the cheaper price she quoted to me after it went up - and before I signed the purchase agreement. You couldn't ask for more!

    Answer from pro:

Thank you so much for the concise, positive review and 10-star rating. Lina, the manager of our new store at 36 Gordon Mackay Road in Toronto (conveniently located at the juncture of Highways 400 & 401), fully embodies the customer services values that Brampton Hardwood Floors Ltd. has come to hold dear over nearly 30 years in business: best prices, excellent quality and ample inventory. We always strive to make our customers happy.

    Hardwood flooring

Very upset with salesperson, Vandana and manager, Joe. Bought a very expensive hardwood. Was told it was in stock. Bought one box to take home and had other 33 boxes delivered at a charge. When we received our order it was the incorrect batch. When we called to tell them the problem they told us that was what we ordered and, by the way, they did not have enough of the original mill run, only 29 boxes. We agreed to switch out the 29 boxes of the original batch we wanted and kept 4 boxes of the different mill run they sent us. The kicker is that we had to pay for the delivery AGAIN to have the correct merchandise delivered. Spoke to Joe, apparently the manager, told him the entire story, was told that it was our fault that we picked up one box first and had the rest delivered the next day. He would not credit us the second delivery charge. Am very upset that a company such as Brampton has zero customer service. Buyer beware, they are great when you are buying but once you have bought you are on your own even if it is their fault. We were forced to pay a second delivery charge because they sent the wrong product the first time.

    Answer from pro:

Hi Rosemary, As was explained to you, the reason that the second delivery was required was simply confusion due to the natural lightening processes inherent in certain wood species. The sucupira hardwood you bought is a beautiful Brazilian hardwood product. The nature of sucupira wood will cause it to "amber" or grow lighter in colour with the passage of time. To avoid confusion with customers, we have two representative samples of sucupira wood in our showroom, an older lighter sample showing the wood after it has "ambered" and a newer sample which is still slightly darker. Once you received your product you were concerned that the hue was not matching your needs and we therefore agreed to provide replacement sucupira hardwood from an older batch so you would not need to wait for the natural "ambering" process to run its course. There were no issues with quality or mistakes on our part, the wood was correct and the change in batches was at your request. Thus, as the change was not our fault the cost of delivery of the replacement batch was not our responsibility. Your husband acknowledged this when he came to pay for delivery at our showroom. Notwithstanding, in the interest of good faith customer relations our manager Joe had offered to split the cost of shipping the replacement batch. We felt that it was a reasonable way to try and resolve your concern, but you did not accept. Please feel free to contact us should you wish to discuss. We have been in business nearly 30 years and service about 30,000 customers a year from our various locations, and pride ourselves on our excellent customer service.

I shopped around ALOT looking for the RIGHT engineered hardwood & stone wall products for my basement project and found GREAT selection at Brampton Hardwood. The products were a FAIR price but what made the difference was the AWESOME service from LINA at the Toronto location. I had really tight deadlines with my contractor and she ensured both products were delivered on-time, and everything was perfect, Thank you Lina !!!!

    Laminate flooring

Brampton Hardwood was one of our stops while shopping for laminate flooring, we visited the Bramalea store and had absolutely no issues. Sales staff were friendly and helpful, answered any questions we had, no pressure to buy. We left and went to a few other places, compared, and went back to Brampton Hardwood to make our purchase- 1000sq of laminate flooring. Overall a good experience.

    Answer from pro:

Thank you so very much for your excellent review and giving Brampton Hardwood Floors the highest possible rating of 10-stars. We always encourage our customers to shop around when looking for hardwood floors, because we are confident that no one can match the price, quality and customer service provided every day by Brampton Hardwood Floors. Please enjoy your beautiful new laminate floors.

    dinning room

Bought hardwood flooring from this place . Took it home and opened 2 of the 10 boxes. It was full of small bug holes. Returned it right away within 1 hour. Only way they would take back there defective product was if I paid 15 percent restocking. BIG RIP OFFS. They are fine if it goes well but if it doesn't your screwed. Will go out of my way to cost them sales with friends family or any one buying floor.

    Answer from pro:

We are quite surprised that you feel this way John. We appreciate your business and our sales staff remembers you. After looking at a variety of products at various price points, you selected our Maple Cherry Mill Run. "Mill run" grade solid wood floors are not defective, they are simply value priced products that contain more knots, holes, cracks, etc. than the more expensive grades. In fact, the flooring you bought was a direct match for the showroom sample board you chose from, complete with the small holes and knots you refer to. We have numerous pictures available of the actual sample board that clearly show this, but unfortunately HomeStars does not permit photos to be added to this reply. After getting the flooring home you decided that it did not suit your needs and decided to return it. As previously mentioned, we would be pleased to apply the value of the restocking admin fee to another one of our quality floors.

    Hardwood Flooring

Used Brampton flooring for the first time. I visited their Toronto store which looks as they have just moved in. There was no one in the front of store. There was a woman in the back warehouse named Lina which asked me if I needed any help. She was amazing, she answered all my questions. She contacted me the next day that she could get the flooring I needed. I ordered thru the phone and went the next day to pay. Again great job. The only negative about Brampton flooring was that there was not enough staff on the floor. I visited the store 2 times and there was only 2 ppl working. This woman does everything. She is a keeper.

    Answer from pro:

Hi Nick. Thank you from all of us at Brampton Hardwood Floors for your top rating and 10-star score. Thanks also for your business new location located at 36 Gordon Mackay Road in Toronto, at the junction of Highways 400 & 401 (right beside the Leon's store). This new store is much larger than our previous Caledonia Road location, so with the vast amount of extra space it may seem like the existing staff is a little thin. We are currently looking for some sales help for store manager Lina and her team, but in the meantime please rest assured that they will always work hard to provide excellent customer service to our customers.

    New Floor

My first floor from Brampton Hardwood was a cork floor and my recent floor was a lovely laminate for my basement. Both floors I purchased from Lina, she is the greatest, she not only knows her floors, she knows colour, quality, maintenance, underpadding, measurements, you name it, she gives the best service you could ask for and she has a great sense of humour as well. After buying from Lina I would never go anywhere else, she offers the expertise you dream of in a specialty store and we are very happy with both floors.
