    Brazlian Cherry hardwood

1)I bought my wood from BH for my hardwood floor. The selection and pricing was unbelievable. Very happy with this aspect of the store. 2) I didn't listen to any recommendation of the salesperson. I researched online A LOT prior to going to the store. I picked the better grade wood. In reviewing the other postings here, I guess I was lucky. 3) Get your own installation guys from friends. Don't use any who are promoted by the hardwood floor companies.

    flooring

We are very happy with both the services and the product provided by this company. The staff were helpful and more than willing to give advice on what product would best suit our needs. The flooring we had put in our living, family and dining rooms are absolutely gorgeous!

    hardwood floring installation

the pricing and the installers were great and happy with the finished product, however the gentleman that came to our home to provide the estimate was not competent in knowing about older homes and subflooring, hence much leveling and unanticipated floor prep was required.

    Whole top floor and stairs

When getting quotes for flooring, Brampton flooring had the best price for the wood I was looking for. The saleperson was helpful and knowledgable. He came to measure on time and started the work when he said he would. The workers were quick and cleaned up really well. Only negative issue was that the amount of wood was short and we had to go get more. This was then more than we had budgeted for.

600 Sq feet of Red Oak

Just want to share a recent experience with all of you. We decided to install 600 sq feet of 3/4" red oak hardwood in our home. Originally we were going to go with Vintage hardwood but based on someones recommendations we went and checked out Brampton Hardwood Flooring. We saw their products and based on samples, decided we were going to order St. Lawrence red oak in wine berry, in select or better. Well the sales guy told us we would be wasting our money if we went with select or better in a dark wood and we should save our money and order it in traditional grade... he said the darker color sort of evens out the board color. Okay so we did that... ordered the wood in Traditional grade. We pick it up, let it aclimate for 4 days and start to open the boxes. We knew we were in trouble after spending a whole weekend trying to install the boards and not even finishing a 1/4 of a 300 sq foot room. So many of the boards were cracked, many others had differing widths from one side of the plank to the other making it impossible to install nice a snug with such boards, we had to resort to gauging every single piece. There were still other problems, some boards had a strange finish where the board's grain was popping through the finish and was rough to the touch. So we went and spoke to management at Brampton Hardwood, they came out and saw the wood and blatently blamed us for deciding to buy Traditional grade claiming we should have bought select or better... I was a little irked with this first off because their sales guy convinced us to buy Traditional, but secondly, we bought, traditional... not SALOON grade... which is what I feel the boards would be better suited for... Anyhow, we're at a loss... no one at Brampton Hardwood is willing to help us out so we're more than likely going to cut our losses, pull out all the CRAP Brampton Hardwood sold us, and go with a hardwood with a better reputation for Quality... more than likely Vintage... All we can say is, DON'T try to save with cheaper boards, Id hate to see any of you go through what we did.... save yourself the headaches and buy quality from the get go...

    entire main floor

Brampton Hardwood will not answer my emails or comment on the horrific installation. I have dips in the flooring. NO joke, I actually get a little dizzy while walking over them. Worst of all the "special" installation he did where our tiles meets the flooring has come up on it's own. He went on about how he has this special technique to work around T-moulds. Now Bramptonhardwood recommended this installer to me. It's was their guy. I'm at a huge loss. From the looks of things they will go down in a few years. Especially in this economy. You can't keep biting the hand that feeds you. I have never seen so many bad reviews for such a niche market company. Lesson learned. ***** I JUST GOT A RESPONSE!!! jan.23. I WILL POST UPDATES..the retail mgr. is looking into it*******

    hardwood throughout my home

UNETHICAL PEOPLE with NO INTEGRITY: BE AWARE!!!!!!!! I dropped into BH one day and liked one of their samples but was reluctant to put a deposit down without my wife present and lack of understanding of my square footage needs. However, I was convinced by a promise by Vandana that I would have no problem cancelling the order or changing my mind on style or quantity without any fees - So, I put down a $3000+ down payment. We have since decided not to renovation at this time and wanted to get our money back. hTey are not so friendly anymore. I had taken no delivery of product and have not placed any special order with them. I have talked to 3 different managers over the past 3 weeks and they are not giving me my money back without charging me a substantial fee for cancelling the order. I am warning everyone to stay away from this unethical company. This HomeStars page is a great source to give and get feedback for customers. It gives me comfort that this commentary will ensure they lose more business $ than they are trying to grab from me. please feel free to ask me for more details of my experience at the following email: dimptara@yahoo.ca I will continue to post this for as long as it takes to get my money back

    Hallways, Kitchen

We selected Brampton Hardwood Floors for the fact that a few of our friends had used them previously, so they came recommended. I enjoyed my experience start to finish with this company. Great people, great product, great price.

    White Oak Hardwood Floor

We bought about 2500 sq. ft of hardwood from this place, they have a good selection and lots of stock, the only problem is that their prices are sketchy and is different all the time, look out for their weekly sale that are suppose to be once a year.
