My air conditioner stopped working last summer, and the heat was unbearable. I phoned Lou around lunch and he was out before the end of the day. He found the problem, and was able to fix it quickly. He explained what was broken so that we knew exactly was he was replacing. It's hard to get that kind of service anymore!

We realized last night that our A/C unit wasn't turning on. This morning we phoned Lou @ DWH&SM and he came by around noon (exactly when he told us he would -- on Saturday, no less!). He identified the problem (a busted capacitor in the compressor unit, by the fan) and replaced it with an extra one he had in his truck. 10 minutes later, we had cool air again. Lou was great at explaining, in a straight-forward way, what was going on. So, not only did he fix the problem promptly he helped us better understand our A/C unit -- both important things as new homeowners! Thanks Lou!

My A/C broke down during record hot weather. Lou answered the call right away and was at my house within 3 hours. He not only fixed the A/C, but checked to make sure the heating was ok, and (hopefully) resolved some of the ongoing winter issues I've been having as well. He was very pleasant and professional, and showed me how everything worked so that I can try to resolve future issues on my own before I have to call. Fantastic experience!

Lou and his crew are A1!!!!! They did a fantastic job installing an AC unit in my home. They are extremely knowledgeable, caring and determined to get the job done no matter what they come across...would recommend DaveWhite to anyone looking for a quality AC / Heating company. Lou Aretusi and his team are professional, knowledgeable and simply excellent. He provides advice, does exactly what he says he will do, when he says he will do it. His team are careful and skilled. It is our pleasure to most highly recommend Lou and his company. We will certainly be looking to him to provide our regular furnace and air conditioning maintenance, on an ongoing basis, due to his professionalism, and the value he provides. Quite simply, he is a pleasure to deal with.

Lou and his brother were simply great professionals with lots of confidence, knowledge and heart. Their price was very competitive and they did everything as promised on time. There were lotes of inconveninences that arise due to the from my part but they never complained and were very helpful at every stage. I wholeheartedly recommend them to everyone.

Lou Aretusi and his crew know what they are doing, are trustworthy, work efficiently, and on time. We've had Air Conditioner installations, (our builders crew ran into the first one with a forklift) a Pool Heater install (we needed an upgraded gas pipe run through our house out to the pool shed), BBQ hookup, Ongoing Furnace Maintenance, Fireplace maintenance x2 and our Gas stove hooked-up. Dave White Heating just reconfigured the Ducts during our basement finishing to help retain as much ceiling height as possible. Ten+ years of excellent in-home service & support, whenever needed, sometimes even at night and on weekends.

Dave White installed our HVAC system approximately 8 years ago and they continue to provide maintenance to the heating and air conditioning systems. The HVAC system is by far one of our favourite parts of our home as the house maintains a perfect temperature when it is freezing or boiling hot outside. Dave White maintains the systems well from a technical perspective and the people who work for the company treat their customers with honesty and respect. I would highly recommend Dave White for installing an HVAC system into a new home or for maintenance on an existing system.

Lou installed our furnace over 14 years ago and he has been maintaining it ever since. He always returns my calls promptly, unlike the large utility company we used to use. Twice now he has rescued us from freezing when our furnace died in two different major cold snaps. He never moans and complains when we call him to come out he merely asks what the problem is, tells me when he will be out to look at it, arrives when he says he will, fixes the furnace promptly, charges a fair price and we are done. Professional, prompt courteous and extremely reliable. This is the way you would want any service person to be when they come to your home.

Lou was easy to talk to initially on the phone. He understood my anguish regarding the problem I had with a noisy furnace motor that the initial installer did not want to deal with or even answer my calls. Lou was upfront that my problem may not get fixed with a motor exchange but was willing to try. He exchanged the motor and the problem was fixed. I am more than happy with his professionalism and willingness to tacle a problem when no one else wanted to bother. I would recommend hinm to anybody.
