    Water Heater upgrade installation

    I wanted to have a larger water heater installed in my home. I called Direct Energy on a Friday after work (around 6pm). They scheduled a technician to come to my home the next day (Saturday) between 8am-11am to diagnose and see if anything else other than the water heater was needed. The Technician arrived at 8:30 am, did what he needed to do and told me that once the paperwork arrived I would get a call to book the installation of the water heater. I expected a call back sometime on the following Monday or Tuesday. I got a call back within a half hour and got an appointment booked for that same day between 12pm-4pm (on a Saturday!!!). Talk about efficient service. Two technicians came to my home to install the water heater were courteous, friendly, respectful and very helpful. They arrived earlier than anticipated (they were ahead of schedule and called at 10:30 am with a quick courtesy phone call to let me know that they would be arriving within 10 minutes. They installed the water heater with the utmost efficiency and explained how to operate it, what to expect with respect to how long it would take before I had hot water. they cleaned up after themselves, laid a carpet runner down in my front foyer to make sure that they didn't make a mess with wet snowy boots (the morning they arrived there was a snow storm). I was very impressed with them both and I would definitely recommend their services again. I was extremely impressed with the entire turnaround of less than 24 hours. Way to Go Direct Energy, you guys ROCK! All this cost me an additional $4.00 per month added to my Enbridge bill...

    Furnace

    Darrick Willette came today because our furnace stopped working. Fast, efficient, courteous service. Nice young man. Very knowledgeable. Clean. Removed boots and made no mess at all. Great service overall.

    Furnace Repair

    We came home tonight to a cold house and found our furnace wasn't working properly. This was approx. 9pm and tonight is a cold night. We called Direct Energy who we've been with since they installed our furnace 5 years ago and even though we've been paying for their service and maintenance plan we were told that they would get someone to the house between 1-5pm the next day. Fine, apparently someone would have to stay home and take the day off to wait for someone to get to us. However, as the night wore on the house was getting colder and colder and we were getting worried so we started calling around and found someone to come out within the hour to take a look at it. He had the problem fixed and our furnace running again fast. He explained to us that in 5 years (yes, the same 5 years we've been subscribed to Direct Energy's maintenance program) no one had properly cleaned the furnace. It had gotten to the point where there was so much dust built up that the sensor in it couldn't work properly and that was our problem. He also mentioned that when we had everything installed we didn't receive a water shut off box (not sure what he called it) which is a mandatory item. So thank you Direct Energy for taking our $$, and not providing proper service, not installing an important part, and thus causing us a very worrisome evening AND the best part is us having to pay another person for service we've been paying to your company for 5 years. Oh, did I mention the Direct Energy guy who answered the phone and tried to sell my husband more insurance when he clearly stated he needed emergency service and then accused him of yelling when all he said was NO? I am so over Direct Energy.

    Furnace Repair

    Use maintenance plan, Easy fast, courteous service. Must have for Furnace in Canada this kind of service on an device you cannot live without in the winter. No shortcuts for Gas Repairs.

    Water Heater Install

    The worker that came by the house first to see about the problem was very professional and courteous even though he couldn't fix the problem being that I needed a new tank. However, he was informative and assured that it would be replaced the following day. The two gentlemen that came the following day were fast and efficient and had the new tank installed with no problems. Also they didn't not make a mess for me to clean up. The too were very professional and courteous as well.

    Plumbing Service

    The worker that arrived at our home was very professional and friendly. He was able to fix our problem in a timely fashion and went beyond by also fixing a slow drain we were very pleased with his work thank you I will definitely recommend your company in the future

    Furnace Installation

    We purchased a furnace and it was installed two days later, therefore very quickly. The gentlemen installing the furnace were careful not to get anything dirty and took the time to answer all our questions and provide the explanations as necessary. We were very pleased with the service.

    Furnace Installation

    We have no complaints, everything went very smooth. The installers explained everything, swept up after, you would never known we had a new furnace installed, they did such a good job.

    Furnace service

    The Direct Energy serviceman was friendly, we knew him from before and he knew what he was doing. He also answered a few questions we had about the gas fireplace.
