We knew it was time to replace the garage door from the original build. We looked for some local companies and we decided to go with Dodds. After having the garage door replaced we then asked them to replace the front door (with our own design) and the upper balcony doors. We have handed out Dodds information to at least 2 or 3 people who have walked by and asked about our doors. We love it so much. The customer service and aftercare was great.

I cannot in good faith recommend this company to anyone and in fact many of my neighbors that have asked for the company name I did not provide them the info as I do not want to responsible for causing them grief. The facts of my experience are below: - Signed a contract to purchase the door in late October 2021. Delivery date on the contact was February 2022. Door was not installed until early April 2022 after multiple delays. - During the installation the home alarm censor was not removed from the old door and now my home alarm is disabled until I get that fixed at my cost - The video door bell was installed upside down. I had to reinstall once the installer left - Once the installer left I noticed that the door had 4 small scratches on the inside. I am guessing the installer scratched the door when installing the lock and handset. Worse case scenario it came from the factory like that. - Yesterday about month after the install I noticed that the weather stripping at the bottom of the door is torn and coming apart. I called Dodds to place a repair request and I was told (and I am not making this up) 'our repairman has left the country for a month so we cannot schedule someone to come out until July' My reply ' you only have the one?' Answer 'Yes' I was not sure how to respond to that but laugh and agree to have someone contact me The door does look good but my concern now is how long is it going to last. Once the warranty is done I can't imagine I would get any help from this company at that point. Going to be placing another review for a garage door that I purchased at the same time but has yet to be installed...

From the initial visit from sales to the replacement of our old wooden doors by one of the most professional tradesmen [ Nadeem ] I have ever seen I can't think of anything but positive things to say about the people who represent this company.

Dodd's came highly recommended on Home Stars. They have been in business a long time and that is key for me when shopping around for a contractor. We had several quotes. Dodd's wasn't the cheapest quote we received, but the salesman (Francis) explained fully what we would receive with our installation. (Including insulation value, hardware, and warranty). Other companies didn't even touch on this. Therefore, Dodd's was our ultimate choice. Install went well and the doors look amazing. Thanks.

Got a new garage door - waited 8 weeks for installation - when installing one of the panels was dented and was replaced weeks after. No complaints. A year into, the nuts and bolts to the operating rod fell off. Called for service and the service manager confessed that the nuts and bolts were not installed correctly / fully. Hence, in talking to customer service or the accounting department after having issued an invoice, was like talking to a wall. She could not move beyond telling me that 'it was a service call'! If they have installed the door, who else would I call in their place? The manager was to give me a call, did not call. Called again for the manager, still waiting to hear almost two months later. I have paid $106.00 for having put the two nuts and bolts in place!! Is this ridiculous or what? entirely due to their technician's inefficiency or miss!! I will never recommend this company to any one of my family or friends ever! Extremely disappointed at them not accepting and acknowledging their error. Appears like they're all family, back one another and juggle the customer between customer service and accounting department. Absolutely unethical conduct of maintaining good business with their client who paid a bundle for the door!

Mr. Brian from Dodds installed my garage door system. He is very hard working and a kind guy. I fully recommend him.

As a first time customer I was very impressed with the service from Dodds'. The process from beginning to end was handled promptly efficiently and professionally. The garage door opener/tracks/remotes were replaced by a personal, knowledgeable installer who worked quickly and was thorough. The front office folks were most helpful in arranging a schedule and walking me through the events. Kudos to the first class team at Dodds.

We recently used Dodds to replace our garage door & our package included full replacements of garage door opener, hardware, & aluminum capping of the frame. We were instantly impressed by Dodds' knowledge of the garage door industry based on their products & packages they sell. This was evident in our initial consultation meeting with Dodds' sales representative Mike B. who was extremely helpful for product selection & further reinforced by our installer, Zaza who did an amazing & precise job during installation. The administrative staff is also pleasant to deal with & has been responsive to our inquiries in a timely manner. Dodds offers a great warranty on their garage door packages & it is clear they strive for customer satisfaction. We have had many compliments from our neighbors & have referred Dodds to our family, friends & neighbors. Thank you again to the entire team at Dodds for surpassing our expectations.

Dodds was great - their service folks are top notch - polite and very knowledgeable. The gentleman who came out to take measurements for our new door also sent one of his most experienced guys to wrangle the broken door back onto the current track (it was stuck at an odd angle in a half-opened state) so that we could close the door, keeping local fauna out of our garage until the new door was installed. A replacement door had to be a special order because our garage was built in the 1940s when there were no "standard" door sizes. The installer was great - he really knew what he was doing and now we have a new door that is not only functional and looks nice, but it's also safe!
