From a price point, Dodds was comparable to the competition. What stood them apart from the others was the customer service from the first phone call made for an estimate.
One of my torsion springs broke and during the first call, Dodds offered to fix the door to allow it to be opened and closed until the door can be repaired. They were to the only company to offer. From there it just got better.
When Mike showed up for the home consultation, he was very courteous and professional. He addressed all of our questions/concerns and provided multiple pricing options for us to consider which helped made our final decision very easy knowing exactly what we are paying for. Installation was done as scheduled. At first we were surprised to see only one person was going to do the work considering the size of the doors (was expecting two people) but Salvador was amazing. He managed to replace both doors completely within 6 hours without any incident. He was very friendly and answered any questions we had, including entertaining my 7 year old daughter's curious mind. He also took the time to show us how to operate the new garage doors. Consulted with us for everything from installing the control pad to the wireless keypad outside. After all the dust settled it was as if Salvador was never here...the old garage doors, tracks, accessories and boxes were all gone and I was left with a brand spanking new garage door system. It's been three weeks now and the doors still look and work beautifully.
We even got a follow up from Len concerning the doors a few days after the install. We had a concern and it was addressed promptly by Len and his team. and all this happened before our final payment.

Work Completed:
Complete replacement of both doors, tracks, openers (customer supplied), wheels and hanging brackets (angle steel). Doors were insulated black c/w insulated windows, weather stripping and aluminium cladding of the exterior moulding (both sides and at the top of the door).
