I signed up for the lawn care three years ago and was fairly happy with the service. I have now sold my house and tried to contact to cancel. Tried both numbers, out of service, sent TWO "contact us" form and TWO e-mails with no response confirming the cancellation. They are only too happy to call me and try to add additional services to the program but the woman who called "can not cancel from here". Would not recommend due to the lack of communication.

Last year (2013) DR. Green (Cambridge, ON) was treating my lawn. I could not see any difference after their visits. I didn't know when they are going to come. Only way I knew they came was because of the invoice in my mail box. So this year I didn't even think of renewing the service with them. They were sending their offers in mail which I of course ignored. But this is not the end. On Apr 14, 2014 they come and left an invoice for their "Very Best First Visit", they indicated in the invoice they did spring fertilization. First of all I didn't ask them or authorized them to do anything. Second, we had 3 cm of snow that day. They trespassed on my property, went into my back yard without my consent and charged me for a service that I didn’t ask for. Unbelievable that they are trying to get you that way. I called them and told them that I didn't authorized them, or accepted, or ask for any of their services. With the end of last year my contract was over with them. They told me I should have "carefully" read their offers that they sent me. I think that they are trying to rip you off. Be aware of their tactics and don't let them do any service for you. Horrible service and would definitely not recommend them to anyone. I’m going to do my best to let my neighbors and friends to be aware of them.

I feel I get good value for my investment in Dr. Green services. For a reasonable price, the team schedules well spaced applications of the appropriate amount of fertilizer and weed control. They let me know a day or so before the application. They show up on time. No fuss, no muss. But the best thing is that I have a lawn that is easy to maintain and gives me more time to enjoy the summer weather.

When I first began looking for a lawn company a number of years ago, Dr. Green was the last one I called. But it turns out (at the time) they were the only company willing to re-adjust the cost for front yard only. I only wanted my front yard done, and one of the reasons I recall for the many other refusals "But we wouldn't be able to control weeds and such from spreading to the front". Now almost all companies offer a discount for front yard only, but as I said Dr. Green was the only one at the time. Within a couple of years our neighbours were commenting on how nice our lawn had become, it had been weed infested and quite shabby when we first moved in. At the time we had landscapers living on either side of us with immaculate lawns, ours was finally fitting in properly. Fast Forward 7 yrs, here I am watching our street slowly change as the city grows. I'm still using Dr. Green and pleased with the results. So far only once has weeds reappeared after an application (it had rained soon after ward) I called to inform them and the following afternoon it was corrected. Otherwise I kept getting questions year after year, who takes care of the grass? Always been Dr. Green and through the years, especially for those of us who don't have the time, I've slowly watched more and more people on my street change to or begin to use Dr. Green. As year after year they've seen the quality of their work on my front lawn as testament to my praises for them. Plus Dr. Green has always been mindful of our plants and flowers out front. Looking forward to many more years of great service and quality care ... keep it up.

It's always been important to us to have a lawn that was big enough and nice enough for our children to play on. Dr. Green has made that possible. We started using them a few years ago, and when we moved, we continued with their services at our new home because we are pleased with the results! The cost is competitive and visits are un-intrusive. Thanks!

My neighbour had used your service 2 years ago and his lawn was great, so I gave a Dr. Green a whirl last year and I was very impressed. We back on to a coulée so we get many weeds but the first time using Dr. Green the lawn has never looked so good. We really appreciate the service. Thanks.

After years of trying to stay ahead of my yard maintenance , controlling weeds , power racking , fertilizing I found i was fighting a losing battle.I couldn't seem to find the time or right product to get my lawn to look and be in its best shape. I became a Dr green customer a few years back after walking my dog past lawns that I knew my lawn could look like. The Dr green sign on the lawn was my referral and I am very pleased. After the first season of service from Dr Green my lawns overall the appearance is healthier.Bare spots are improving and our yard use is much more enjoyable without problem weeds and thistles . The Dr Green service technicians are always on time with appointments and the service does not impede my family's and pets yard use. The post appointment information card is accurate with services applied and lawn recommendations. I find this very helpful in knowing my requests and expectations are being met. I will continue to use Dr Green services for seasons to come.

As a first time user of Mr. Green during the Spring/Summer/Fall of 2013, I was extremely happy with the results. My lawn was very lush and green! I could not be happier with the service! I look forward to the continued lawn care services from Mr. Green in 2014!

Had Dr Green for a season to see if it would improve my lawn, it did not so I called to cancel the service. They told me to call next season to confirm. So now the snow just disappeared and I am starting to get into that spring mode when I get home from work to see a sign on my lawn saying that Dr. Green was here and fertilized my lawn and somehow broke into my back yard and done that too and left me a bill for 60 bucks. I'm pretty sure there was still a bit of snow in the corner of my driveway. No warning that they were coming, no email that they were coming, nothing. How the hell do you get away from these people???? They trespassed on my property without my consent, went into my back yard without my consent and charged me money for a service that I had called to cancel. Horrible service and would definitely not recommend to anyone.

Very bad customer service when you need them. Their technicians come only to post the invoice without doing ANYTHING substantial to the lawn. I won't recommend them, even to my enemies.
