When I discovered a blocked drain I turned to the Yellow Pages and having seen DrainWorks trucks in my area I chose them. When I phoned and explained my problem to John, he was so helpful and said he would have someone come that day to check the problem and gave me a specific time. John called a little later to tell me Mike would be 20 minutes late. John, my initial contact, showed me that this company cared about my time. In 20 minutes Mike arrived. He and his co-worker put booties on over their shoes before entering my home; he assessed the situation and x-rayed the drain pipes, even on the city side. Mike then explained the problem, what they would do and gave me an estimate. Mike was so pleasant and explained, in language I could understand, that they had to reroute the pipe from my sink into the main drain and that this would entail digging up a portion of the basement floor. I accepted the estimate and Mike said men would be at my home the next day at 9:00 AM - and they were. The also put on booties and placed tarps throughout the house where they would be working. The work was completed that day with no mess left for me to clean up. The work was unbelievably neat. When digging up the floor to join the new drain to the main drain, they uncovered a huge rock which they took with them to dispose of. Mike had come by to check on the work being done and to see if I was satisfied. He also returned when the work was completed and informed me that there were tree roots on the City side of the main drain and who to call to have the roots removed. John and Mike are wonderful representatives for DrainWorks, the workmen were fastidious and efficient.I had plumbing work done before, which turned out to be a disaster:we had to replace a badly mangled ceiling by workers who didn't care about anything except replacing a pipe. The people at DrainWorks do care about your home and take extra care not to mess it up. Kudos to John, Mike and their plumbers!
