    Dyson Animal DC25

We purchased an Animal DC25 about 3 years ago, and it has been fantastic - has never lost suction (and we have 2 dogs, 3 cats and 2 kids, so it's been well tested.) Recently we had a couple of small problems with the vacuum - a screw kept coming loose and the button for the beater bar was sticking, so we sent it in for repair. Dyson had it picked up by courier, fixed and sent back within 6 days with no charge. They also looked over the whole vacuum, found two other problems, fixed those too, and replaced the filters. I cannot recommend Dyson machines or the company highly enough.

    Vacuum Cleaner

We recently purchased a brand new Dyson vacuum cleaner. One of the best products you can buy. We got tired of constantly having to change our vacuum cleaner and having problems with suction. This vacuum cleaner will never go out of suction. Product is def worth every dollar and cent. Great product, great design. Would've wish the price was abit lower although i def agree you do get for what you pay for.

DYSON CANISTER & CUSTOMER SERVICE DYSON CANADA

I've had my vacuum for a couple of years and I can't even come close to describing how thrilled I am with it's performance. If you're undecided about spending the extra cash in two years or less you'll be kicking yourself when you have to replace the 300.00 one you'll buy today because which ever other brand you'll buy won't work like your Dyson will. Ever! My daughter recently bought a Filter Queen and we put my "old" Dyson to the test. She used her new vacuum (after we messed around with dismantling the clips & opening it - then putting a filter in it etc). She vacuumed 10 square feet of her carpeting until she was satisfied that it was completely (1.75 minutes). Then I used my Dyson canister to vacuum the same exact area of carpet (57 seconds). We then dismantled her vacuum (I shoulda timed that too but I didn't), to check the filter for the amount of crap her vacuum had sucked up ( and I simply unclipped my see-through tank to see if it had picked up any additional crap her vacuum missed. Sure enough, I emptied out golden-retriever fluffy fuzz and a fair amount of white "dust-like" crap from my tank! Her response was, "my vacuum is garbage!". I have a lung disease, I don't want to breathe white dust/dander or whatever that was, how about you? I'm not done yet, well somehow I poked a big hole in the hose of my wand. So of course I duct-taped it up until it was air-tight (looked hideous) and that worked briefly but I had to keep re-doing the duct tape, know why? BECAUSE MY DYSON KEPT SUCKING THE DUCT TAPE UP INTO THE HOSE THROUGH THE HOLE I HAD PATCHED WHICH CHOKED THE HOSE TO THE DIAMETER OF A TOONIE! that was annoying but I didn't want to call and complain because I had no idea where my receipt was and couldn't remember if I had registered it when I bought it etc., etc. Didn't want the hassle I anticipated. Finally, the task of removing duct tape over and over outweighed any hassle Dyson Canada could throw at me so in the midst of another duct tape removal session I fired off a long-winded rant to Dyson Canada about their reasoning for using a "cheap ass hose" on an outstanding vacuum and to my suprise, I received an immediate response from a compassionate gentleman who requested I contact them. So I did. I bet I was on the phone with an equally compassionate woman at Dyson for a maximum of 3 minutes and my entire new hose an wand was being shipped that day and I didn't have to pay a nickel! She said it may take 7 to 10 days to receive it but It was at my door on day three! I couldn't believe it! How's THAT for customer service?!!!! I sure wish Mr Dyson would turn his efforts toward making a carpet shampooer now and if he does I'll be back to review that as well. .....Oh and by the way, that "cheap ass hose" I was whining about... Well it turns out the material it's made of was also used by NASA for the astronauts space suits. OOPSIE! In summary, Buy the Dyson - it's the best power tool a woman could ever own! T. Wills

DC35 is scratching my hardwood floors

I have the Rechargeable DC35. Great suction, lightweight, but the head had to be replaced because the hard plastic on the bottom has left fine scratches all over my hardwood floors. Now the replacment head is doing the same. Dyson is taking far to long to rectify this problem and are now blaming me saying that I am vaccuming up large chunks of debris and that is causing the problem. I purchased the CD35 and paid $350.00 to vaccum up dog hair and dust. Once again I am waiting for Dyson to get back to me - I am insisting that a representative from Dyson come to look at my scratched hardwood floors.

    Purchased New Vaccum

Despite not having really any pets of my own besides a few fish in a tank, many relatives and friends who visit do and their cats and dogs while a welcome addition, constantly leave their fur residue all over our home which gets nightmarish as it builds up among other dirt/dust. Before Dyson, we had a very basic vacuum that was large and loud as a jackhammer. It worked sufficiently enough until one day it just stopped picking up corners and was too cumbersome to maneuver. That is when we went to Dyson where we bought a marvelous new vacuum. not only was it flexible enough to go under small areas and reach corners, but amazingly enough it was so quiet you can almost hear a feather drop to the floor. The vacuum was spectacular and the employee was very helpful in aiding us find a vacuum that perfectly fit our needs. If anybody ever needed a vacuum I would easily recommend Dyson for their great price and service!

    Dyson vaccuum

We have a dyson vacuum and we have a dog as well. The vacuum is very good at picking up dog hairs and dust. I also find it a lot more quieter than other vacuums that I have had before. I definately recommend this vacuum.

    New Vaccuum

We have a dog that sheds like crazy, so we are always picking up dog hair from everywhere! Our last vacuum (a sears job, I think) broke in half as I was carrying up the stairs, which is a major undertaking. We decided to try the Dyson vacuums, as they seem to be well regarded. We have been very pleasantly surprised! This is an amazing vacuum, with fantastic suction. It is light, manoeuvrable, and very easily cleaned. No bags to buy and everything is a pleasure to use. We got the one with a ball, and the animal suction. Very happy with their service - they even send us an e-mail reminding us when to remove and wash the filter!

    Dyson DC23

I have two dogs, and two cats, both hardwood and carpet in the house. I was getting fed up with vacuuming and then moments later finding hair on the hardwood. I was using a Kenmore which I thought was a pretty good vacuum. I thought I'd buy a Dyson, and return it if I didn't like it. I was not too keen on spending so much money on a vacuum, but the hair was driving me nuts. I decided to try it on my living room after I brought it home.I had shampooed the carpets the previous weekend and vacuumed with the Kenmore moments prior to using the Dyson. The test was on!! I was absolutely stunned at the 'stuff' that appeared in the canister from just doing like 1/4 of the room, all kinds of pet hair and dust. By the time I finished the room, not only did my carpets look better, but the canister was half full! The next day, I did the same, vacuumed the 3 bedrooms, bathroom, hallway and stairs upstairs with the Kenmore, and then used the Dyson right after, again, what came out both stunned and disgusted me!! While in no way could I afford the cost of the Dyson right now (thanks Sears credit!! lol) the way my house looks now, and what came out of the canister has made me a believer. I vacuumed yesterday, and there is very little hair appearing on my hardwood from the carpets. I have posted pictures of before and after on my facebook and now have no less then 3 friends who are going to be buying one. I bought the stow away because with the amount of stairs I have, I didn't want an upright. My only complaints are that the hose gets kinked fairly often, the hose on my Kenmore swiveled, so if I turned, the hose would turn with me, and not kink like the Dyson does, and an on/off switch on the actual wand, by the handle instead of on the machine would also be nice, as would the power and the cord retractor buttons be reversed, I am always reaching for the cord retractor button to shut the vacuum off, but I suppose that's something I will get used to. If I had to pick, my biggest complaint would be that the hose does not swivel and kinks often, but other then that, I believe I have found a vacuum for life, it's a lifesaver with the pets I have, as well as the dirt my son and his friends track in the house!

    Dyson ANIMAL

We bought this vacuum after being persuaded by the commercials. We went to Sears where we looked at other vacuums, but the sales guy really did convince us - he had multiple pets at home and loved his Dyson. We brought it home and took the Dyson challenge (where you vacuum your carpet with your old vacuum, and then re-vacuum it with the Dyson). The results were AMAZING. This product is completely amazing!!!

    Dyson Vacuum cleaner

My 3 year old Dyson had a problem. I had not registered it so thought all I'd get was some advice on where to take it to be fixed. Astonishingly, they are picking it up, repairing it, and delivering it back at no charge. THIS is a company that stands behind their product! Their customer service said even if the 5 year warranty had expired and the problem was one that just shouldn't have happened - they'd fix it.
