Screen shades for condo
The shades are decent. The installation was done poorly as the blinds are not aligned. I ordered metal chains but instead I got plastic.

Shutters
I've had Gabriel complete 7 jobs for me over the past 15 years. I always go back to Excel shades for the quality of product, competitive pricing and great installation. I highly recommend Excel Shades.

Condominium Roller Shades
I have been a longtime customer of Carmella's at Excel Shades and she is a wonderful professional with many years of experience. She is not satisfied until you are absolutely happy with their work. My windows were unique as I purchased a condo unit with 5 large windows, in a retrofit property that made the job very unique. I was so indecisive and Excel walked me through, patiently, with great assistance. The product that was recommended is Canadian made and I could not be happier with the service and pricing I received. Excel Shades is highly recommended to anyone in need or window coverings. You will not be disappointed.

Shutter Install
I got some shutters put in by these guys. Gabriel was great to work with. No problems at all and I thought they did a good job. The price was fine too. Would recommend them highly.

Install of blinds
My husband drove by the place, which is how we found out about Excel Shades. They did the blinds for my house. I thought they were very good, no problems. The installers were on time. Carmela was very good too. I thought the price could have been a little less, but I’m always going to think that. I didn’t do a lot of comparing prices, though. All in all, I was happy with them.

Window blinds/shades/drapery for a 4300 sq.ft. home
Before we moved in our brand new home, I have tried contacting multiple companies and only Excel Shades called me back and provided me with answers over the phone in a very timely manner. Within a couple days Carmela was able to provide me with more information about my options as well as books of samples to help me choose the perfect covers for my windows. She was also the only one who offered to show me her previous work on other homes around my area. I thought her and her staff did a really good job with shades and blinds in my home. The workers were prompt and finished within the discussed time frame. I was also able to bring up any issues that I saw during the process of installation. This company is very prefessional and at the same time very accomodating with the customer needs and wants. I will absolutley recommend this company to anyone looking for window blinds, shades, and draperies.

Home Shutters/Blinds
Excel Shades installed about half of the shutters and blinds in my house. I like them and I’ve used them before. They have great service, great customer relationship. Both Gabriel, the owner, and the installer that came were great. No complaints and would highly recommend.

California shutters
We have used Excel Shades in two of our homes with excellent results. We had California shutters installed at our house in Ajax about 5 or 6 years ago. Then when we moved 2 years ago we called them back to have the shutters put in our new house as well. The price and quality of the shutters are very good, and we were pleased with the installation which was very professional. All the blinds look great. When one of our blinds was damaged a few weeks ago, they looked after us in a speedy manner and the shutter looks like new again. Gabriel and Carmella make a great team. Thank you Excel.

California Shutters
this review is a little bit late, but if there is "11" out there, I won't hesitate to give them. From the free estimation to install, their service was excellent. Gabriel suggested us about the California shutters and we took his advice. It turns out we made the right decision. Our windows look very beautiful. It took them two weeks to install and the price was reasonable. I would definitely recommend them to anyone. Thank you guys!

Hunter Douglas shades
We are repeat customers. We had used them years ago and it was a good experience. Carmella answered my inquiries, she brought options to pick from as well as color swatches. We made our decision and placed the order. It did take quite some time for them to come in however. They were installed properly.
