Wheelchair ramp with covered and screened in deck
My husband had an MVA. I contacted Theo in late summer to build a wheelchair ramp and screened in deck (covered ). Theo took on this large project in short order and got it completed before winter ( my husband was coming home from hospital early spring ). It is important to note that many other contractors turned me down..... It is stunningly done with excellent materials. Everyone who sees it, comments on it's beauty but also the above average structural integrity of the construction. The workers always showed up on time, left the site clean, were very polite. Theo did all the leg work and I had no work or worries to think about during this incredibly difficult time in our lives. I would HIGHLY recommend Hickory Dickory Decks Kanata. Ask for Theo.

Backyard deck - HDD rocks
Steve Hall and his awesome HDD team completed a jewel of a backyard deck for us. All the positive adjectives, expletives and emojis work for explaining our satisfaction of the final product. And ahead of time! Quality workmanship, knowledge, experience and creativity all wrapped up in one. A hard working team that clearly stated several times that they love their jobs. Incredible. Special recognition to carpenter Erick.... one solid, dedicated dude - he provides a strong example of HHD value. Highly recommended? haha.... you bet!

Deck floor replaced and waterproofed
Ivan Icaza and his guys did amazing work resurfacing and waterproofing our deck. The job was completed on schedule with attention to detailes. Thank you for the great experience! Saludos!

Front Deck Replacement
We couldn't be happier with the work done by Chris and team at Hickory Dickory Decks. It was a full replacement of the front deck and included some tricky tie in's to existing stonework. The quality of their workmanship was first class, they were reliable and the cost was very reasonable. The new deck has drastically improved the curb appeal of our house!! We love the work so much we are going to have them redo our back deck next year. I highly recommend the team from Hickory Dickory Decks.

Deck repair
We are so happy that we called Bob Robertson for initial look at our old deck. Bob gave us few options and brought in his Master Carpenter Fred. Fred came in and thoroughly inspected the deck and then gave us economical suggestion. They have started work just when the weather got better and completed it in 2 days. Fred, his brother Art, and Chris came in and completed the work. Nice to meet good people like Bob, Fred and team, who are willing to go above and beyond.

Deck Build
We approached Steve early in the New Year to evacuate the prospect of building a low rise deck in our backyard. He immediately got in touch and we were off to the process. He visited us at our home and then came back with some proposals of ideas that might work. We agreed upon another visit in our home to finalize details. He worked out the step by step process from materials to the process of how things get done on site and how locates get arranged. He is upfront with the financial details as well . Steve constantly asks questions so we are clear about what will happen and if we are clear about matters. Once construction began, his team was nothing but professional. Great guys to deal with and they did an awesome job. They completed our deck in just over three days not counting the setting of the footings. When they were finished, you would never know they were here….everything was cleaned up a no mess was left behind. Suffice to say…we are pleased…we are well pleased with Steve and the team he has hired!

Backyard deck with pergola and steps to above ground pool
We are so impressed with the excellent team at Hickory dickory decks that planned and built our deck. Charleigh provided us with detailed 2-D and 3-D designs for our backyard deck with pergola, lighting and decking / steps to our existing above ground pool. The quote was clear, detailed, and included opportunities for upgrades. Charleigh and Greg showed us a wide variety of products and answered all our questions. The pvc decking was an excellent choice for our project. Matt showed attention to all details and excellence in craftsmanship. He also made adjustments to the plans as needed. The project was started and completed on time.
