Hickory Dickory Decks were professional and quick while providing a quality deck. They built our deck using Trek composite product, glass railing with a lighting system which we love. It really extends our home outside. They provide a quote and drawing before we started so we knew exactly what we were getting. I highly recommend.

We couldn’t be more pleased with our deck and roof. The workmanship is exceptional. Bob and his crew were a pleasure to deal with. They were Very friendly and professional We enjoyed and used our backyard more than we ever have.

We had our deck and roof built earlier this year. We are very very happy with Rob and his crew . They are the most professional people we have ever hired and we had quite a few big projects done around the house in the last year.

From our very first interaction with Rob, he set his company apart from all of the other companies who provided estimates for our large, second level deck. He provided a detailed estimate and met with us via Zoom, to review the details and sketches to help us design the perfect deck for us. We ended up with a 504 Ft. Sq. PVC deck (including stairs), using the Trex Rain Escapes water proofing system. Rob was always accessible, patient with our changes and need for explanation. He was completely reliable, trustworthy and above all, professional. These traits were mirrored in his team, made up of Mitch and James. Their high quality work and professionalism was evident in every way, from the actual work, their interactions with each other and us, to the cleanliness with which they left the job site, every day. Our pictures, taken in December, do not do the deck justice... We are very pleased with the end result and would not hesitate in recommending Rob, Mitch and James.

My deck was built by HDD in Fall of 2013. No issues to date other than a few of the cement post footings are crumbling. Despite the 8 year lag, Bob came to assess the damages. He quickly provided the assurance that there's no safety concerns which was top of mind as my family uses the deck regularly. He then gave a couple of repair options. Once the repair work started, Bob and his Son completed it within one week. I continue to be impressed with the service provided by HDD. No job is too small. From the day Bob agreed to repair the post footing, he took accountability to finish the work. I highly recommend Bob and HDD for they are dependable and do great work!

We're very happy with the job that Kosal and Guillermo did building our replacement deck. At the beginning of the process, Kosal provided 2D design and 3D rendering pictures that were very helpful to visualize the replacement deck and the finished deck turned out as promised. The quality of workmanship was excellent. Kosal and Guillermo were very professional throughout the entire process. Kosal answered all our questions and communicated very well explaining the process and helping us choose the right materials and letting us know what options were available. We highly recommend them for the quality of their workmanship and professionalism.

Ivan and his team did an excellent job on our deck. I would highly recommend this company to anyone looking for a deck builder. They are professional, reliable and managed every detail perfectly. They make the process easy and seamless. We now have a beautiful deck and they built it exactly as we had discussed. These guys are amazing!

Our backyard deck and backdoor porch, built with pressure treated fir and stained a few times., had weathered well over 35+ years but it was just time to replace them. HDD gave us a range of options for build, trim and add-ons, both from their website and brochures. Geoff always had good, understandable answers and helped narrow our choices for what we were looking for. In the end, we paid more than initially expected but it is a joy each day to look and use what we have - they really are beautiful and functional - and to know they will look this good for 25+ years while basically maintenance free. Kerry and crew built flawlessly. Despite some supply chain issues, Geoff helped to meet our key dates. One suggestion I hope they consider is a magnetic sweep of the work areas after each week -safer for kids and pets.

I highly recommend Hickory Dickory Decks. The Brantford crew (Will and BJ) are true craftsman that succeed in building the ultimate deck project. They have outstanding people skills in that they are very friendly and will answer any and all questions with an explanation as to exactly what they are doing. Even the deck yard Supervisor (Thomas) was fantastic when additional product was required.

Our 22-year-old cedar deck needed replacement. Unsure of the type of deck we wanted, I reached out to a few reputable companies and began the process. One of the companies recommended by a family member was Hickory Dickory Decks (HDD). I was put in touch with Steve and Erick (master carpenter) who services Markham. Once we narrowed down what we wanted, we got final quotes. HDD quote was competitive, and we decided to proceed with them based on their professional approach and family experience. A pleasant surprise for a contractor, Steve was excellent at communication. He provided constant updates on material arrival, expected completion which he would adjust for weather unpredictability. During construction, the site was kept clean, and all tools and materials were put away at night, all very professional. Steve and Erick’s crew were pleasant to deal but more importantly, the quality of work and attention to detail were excellent which they used squares and levels for every foundation structure. Quite frankly, I could not have had a better experience. I am very pleased with our beautiful deck, in both functionally and quality. I would recommend Steve and Erick of Hickory Dickory Decks in a heartbeat.
