    Resurface deck

    Very happy with hickory deck or deck . Would recommend to anyone. Workmanship amazing. Great staff. Work done in time and they always leave your place clean. They called back to see if you are satisfied with the work.

    New deck

    We recently hired Rob Hendriks and his team to build our new deck. From the beginning, we found Rob very professional, friendly and helpful. We really appreciated that he worked with us to design a deck that looked great and also fit within our budget. He was very responsive to our family's needs: we had visitors coming to stay with us for a few weeks in the summer and he managed to fit our deck in between our holidays and the visitors coming. The timing could not have worked out more perfectly! When the job started, the crew worked until the job was done. They kept the work area neat and tidy and when all was said and done, you could hardly tell that work had been done in our back yard. The final product looked great! Rob made sure to go over the finished deck with a fine-toothed comb to fix any imperfections. (He also went out of his way to fix the gate to our backyard that had not been constructed properly!) We are very satisfied with the way the deck looks and feels. We really like the composite product that we chose and are happy with the low maintenance option. We would highly recommend Hickory and Rob Hendriks to anyone looking to build a beautiful deck in a timely and stress-free manner.

    New Composite Deck

    We asked Hickory Dickory Decks to install our new deck on the advice of colleagues. We love our new deck and are very happy with it. Thank you to Geoff, the manager, for being patient with our many questions regarding the materials used in the construction of the deck and for helping us to get the paperwork for the permit completed. The installers, Kosal, Justin, and Cameron are fantastic people. They respected our property, were easy to communicate with, and always kept the jobsite clean. We initially thought the price of the job was a bit high, but after seeing the custom railings installed, and the high quality of craftsmanship, we now know that the overall cost was reasonable. Many of our neighbours have now seen the completed work and have been "wowed" by the results. Thank you, Hickory Dickory Decks, for your excellent work. We will be recommending your company to other potential deck clients.

    460sqft PVC Deck w/ Pavillion

    I had initially received a quote from a number of well known and fairly expensive deck builders prior to speaking to Jonathan Boyes and Hickory Dickory Decks. The other deck builders had excellent ideas when it came to design but what set Jonathan apart was that he could incorporate design into a deck that is very well built, will last long, and follows are regulatory requirements for your area. There would be nothing worse then investing a healthy amount of money into a project, only to have it removed later on due to issues with the city. it was very apparent after a short discussion with him that he knew what he was doing, and that ne knew how to build quality work. Jonathan was able to meet his scheduled on time, with no delays what so ever, was good to work with throughout the entire process, and did an excellent job in keep me informed of progress at all times! His team was very professional and paid close attention to detail. Overall we are very happy with the end product, it was built well and was less expensive than his competitors for this price point of the deck. There have already been quite a few of my neighbors asking for Jonathans information so they can build something similar after seeing the craftsman ship of his work.

    Glass railings integrated into existing cedar deck

    Steve Hall was wonderful working with! His attitude towards integrating glass panel railings into an existing 14 yr old cedar deck was refreshing. Communication/quoting process was easy and work completed as per the quote.

    deck and balcony

    Hickory Dickory Decks was a refreshing surprise. Steve Hall came to our first meeting prepared to listen to what we wanted , and to our second prepared with plans, material samples and quotes for the work depending on what we went with. He was always professional in his dealings with us. The job was done when he said it would be done without any expensive surprises. The crew who built our decks were always polite and hardworking, leaving the job site clean at the end of each day. The decks are beautiful. The whole experience was positive and I would certainly recommend them or have them build another if we ever needed one. Heather

    DECK REBUILD

    H.D.D, built my original deck a full 25 years ago, it was time for some fixing up. Tom sent a crew to take pics and evaluate the deck conditions. They were somewhat impressed at how well it had stood the test of time (A FULL YEARS), but knew it required some work. They worked within my budget, even managed to salvage much of the original parts to keep within my budget. Work was completed in about 5 full days, to my complete satisfaction. This almost new deck will last for the rest of my life, with very little upkeep. Thank you to Hickory Dickory Decks for your outstanding quality and great service.

    New Composite Deck built

    Met with Bob Robertson in late March and had a new TruNorth composite deck by first week of June. Bob was a pleasure to deal with and executed our vision perfectly. When a few items needed attention or correction at the end of the build, he handled it straight away and to our satisfaction. Bob's knowledge, listening skills, pleasant personality and approachability resulted in a very positive experience.

    Composite Deck

    Dealing with Bob Robertson was a pleasure. He was helpful, prompt, reliable and quite personable. After dealing with many trades over the past few years, this was definitely high on the list as the easiest installation. The work was high quality, and nothing was too much trouble. Highly recommended.

    Deck

    A delight to work with Kevin to design and build our deck completed beyond our expectations. Bryan worked diligently addressing every fine detail. We love our vinyl deck. Had steps replaced at our kitchen entrance as well. Great investment for upgrading the appearance of our home. Kevin is easy to contact. This service was a priority for me from past experience. I would highly recommend Hickory Dickory Decks.
