We ordered a balcony deck for the 2nd story of our home. Bob was amazing throughout the entire project. He explained the many options, as well as the challenges when doing a 2nd floor deck. He took care of the plans, the permits, the helicals, and worked directly with another contractor who was replacing our bedroom window with a full sized door as a walk-out to the deck. He even changed to an outer mount rail to ensure that our custom job was perfect. We selected a composite material, which looks amazing and is maintenance free. No sanding and no staining. He and his workers were punctual, polite and professional. He also communicated everything they were doing, and gave us advance notice of when they were working, which is refreshing after dealing with other contractors. We were so pleased with the results, that we have already been talking about future projects with him. I highly recommend him.

Our 12' x 16' wooden deck approx. 12+ years old was rotting, as were the original supports below (approx. 30 yrs. old.) We had an unusual issue as the deck had a screened porch enclosure. This enclosure had to be removed by another co. before a new deck could be installed and then re-installed afterwards. We contacted Rob at Hickory Dickory Decks - sw Mississauga. He took measurements multiple times and drew up a design sketch to ensure that the porch enclosure would be re-installed exactly to spec. We received a quote for both a wood deck and composite and were shown various samples at the show yard. Rob took time to answer all our questions and was willing to incorporate our ideas when they complimented the project. If you live in south west Mississauga and want a company that charges a reasonable price, completes the work on time and goes the extra distance to make sure the job is completed to the customer's satisfaction, even with Rob pitching in to help when needed, then look no farther. Thanks Rob & team! The new composite deck looks awesome. We are seniors and will not have to worry about the upkeep of a wood deck. Well worth the extra cost, which was far less than we had anticipated, between wood and composite. We hope to enjoy our new deck for many years to come.

Kevin Beamer was extremely accommodating and built a small deck off our back patio door exactly to our specifications. The work was done quickly, cleanly, and very competently. It was a very positive experience, and everyone admires the deck.

We had excellent attention from Geoff Aucoin who was thorough in assessing the price, giving us choices we might consider and then following through as promised, on time. The result is exactly what we wished and we are enjoying every moment we use the balcony now. We'd recommend this man and this company to anyone.

My wife and I hired Steve and his crew at HDD RH to construct a new, small deck in our backyard for this summer and they were an absolute pleasure to deal with. Steve's easy-going but professional attitude, plus him being open and forthcoming in all his communications put us at ease. This despite some nervousness on our part as this was the first time we've hired a contractor to do any work for our home. The crew at HDD RH that completed the construction were also courteous, friendly and easy to talk to. They showed up early every morning to start work promptly at 8 am and cleaned up any mess they made at the end of each day. They worked fast and completed the project on time but did not compromise on their workmanship, which was excellent. The work ethic and professionalism they demonstrated impressed us immensely. It was also clear to us, in speaking with them and watching them work, that they took pride in the deck they were building and wanted to do the best job possible. We would also like to point out that even though our project was a relatively small and quick one (the build took ~3 days in its entirety), at no point did we feel like we were being rushed, neglected or treated as being less important clients by Steve or any member of his crew. In summary, we had a great experience working with Steve and his crew at HDD RH and are very pleased with the product they delivered. Thank you once again for building our beautiful deck for us!

HDD replaced our old deck with a beautiful new deck two years ago. Living in a heavily treed area it was time to have the deck cleaned. As usual HDD did an outstanding cleaning job. The deck looks like it was just installed again. The boys were very hard working as usual. I would highly recommend their power washing service. Charlene

Steve and the Hickory Dickory Decks - Richmond Hill team did an incredible job building our deck. They exceeded our expectations from start to finish. They provided us with several design options and worked with our ideas and budget to build our dream deck. They showed up exactly when they said they would each day, and met all timelines. In fact - they completed the job early! Steve and his entire team were incredibly professional throughout the process - from start to finish. We couldn't be happier with the end result. I had a very old deck that needed to be completely replaced last fall, and Geoff was a pleasure to deal with from start to finish. I have a narrow long backyard with a tricky angle and Geoff helped design the new deck to maximize the space and I couldn't be more thankful. During the build, Kosal was great to deal with. He made sure the area was tidy at the end of each day which I appreciated, and the final product looks fantastic. These guys are top notch. Looking forward to enjoying the deck for years to come.

They built my elderly mothers small backyard deck and did a wonderful job and treated my mother like the queen she is. She is so happy with all they did . Thanks so much to Brad and the carpenters Jeremy and Scotty for their hard work !
