Design and installation of my deck
I recently had the pleasure of working with Hickory Dickory Decks! From start to finish, the team was professional, courteous, and efficient. They took the time to listen to my needs and wants for my backyard deck, and worked with me to create a design that exceeded my expectations. The quality of their workmanship is top-notch. I have received so many compliments from friends and family on how beautiful my new deck is. Overall, I highly recommend Hickory Dickory Decks for anyone in need of a new deck. They are a pleasure to work with and will exceed your expectations.

Unreliable
I wanted to share our experience with HDD. We contacted Hickory Dickory Decks at the beginning of May, someone came out to take measurements and discuss what we wanted to have done - we have an existing wood deck which wanted to change to composite decking - the discussion was done, measurements were taken, a sketch was drawn for the new deck and for 3 railings we wanted installed as well, it is now June 15 and we still have not received a quote, a phone call or an email, HDD disappeared - still have not heard from anyone in that company (we were promised a quote within a week). In saying that, even if they read this review and contacted me, I would NOT hire this company to do any work for me. This is completely unacceptable way to conduct business, in saying that, I would definitely NOT recommend HDD to anyone, unless of course your not looking for a quote lol. HDD in my opinion, is unprofessional, unreliable and has bad customer service. Do your homework on HDD, read the bad reviews, it may give you an insight into the company and how its conducted. Hope our review helps others.

Backyard Deck
Kosal and the team from Hickory Dickory Decks - Scarborough did a great job on our deck! They were always customer-focussed right from the planning and design stage through to construction. They paid attention to detail as if it was their own project in their own backyard. We're looking forward to enjoying our new low maintenance deck and expanding our outdoor living space. Thanks!

Deck build
Our experience with Hickory Dickory Decks has been phenomenal. Arturo has organized everything, proposed different plans for the deck to fit our budget and took care of everything from permits to ordering every single part we needed. He also made sure the project stayed on track and always let us know when he or the workers would be stopping by, so we were never surprised by anything. Stephan is an amazing deck builder. Very skilled, careful and precise. Kept the workspace in our backyard clean and organized, and left things as they were before he arrived. The final price was exactly our estimate, which is always great to see. Would absolutely use this company for any future deck building needs.

Excellent experience
Arturo was excellent to deal with from start to finish. He was on time, perfectly on budget and we are even happier with our new deck than we thought we would be. I cannot recommend Arturo highly enough.

Deck Project
For many reasons, we certainly would not hesitate to recommend Hickory Dickory Decks. Brad was extremely professional, friendly, polite and personable. In our case, he worked with us to update an existing unsightly deck and railing, saving us costs by reusing our current deck structure. The workmanship by Wade and John was really top notch. The job site was tidied up daily and should you have any last minute add-ons, they were flexible and aimed to please. HDDs materials were the finest quality composite, aluminum and glass which gave the finished product a luxurious, high quality feel. We look forward to enjoying the new deck with our family for years to come and the added benefit is the increase in value to our home. Overall, we had a fantastic experience with HDD and would highly recommend them to anyone considering a deck project this summer.

Deck replacement and structural repairs
We replaced about 1000 sq ft of deck space and we are really happy with the result! Leif was a pleasure to work with and exceeded our expectations in every way possible. We were pleased with the quality of the composite material, the design, and the efficiency of Leif and his team to complete the project in a timely manner. In the process we realized we needed to also complete some structural repairs which they were able to take care of for us - Leif is a great problem solver and kept our deck replacement project on track Fantastic experience and couldn't recommend Hickory Dickory Decks highly enough. Can't wait for summer!

Kevin and his wife were an absolute pleasure to work with. They had a clear vision of what they wanted in terms of finish, which was very complimentary to the style and colour of their house. We did run into some concealed rot on the substructure of the deck but were able to quickly work toward a solution and get the project completed in time for the spring sunshine. Beautiful deck replacement
Frank and team did an excellent job replacing my 100+ year old front deck and stairs with a new composite deck and stairs. They were professional, efficient, and easy to work with, from planning through construction, and I am very pleased with the result. I now have storage under the deck for my garbage bins, and I'm getting lots of compliments from neighbours.

Composite Deck - Arturo
Arturo and Stephane did an incredible job on execution of the vision for our backyard. Stephane is very meticulous in his work and every corner and finish was done with precision. Even when something wasn't exactly as we wanted it, Arturo and Stephane listened and made the changes. Its worth the investment to go with Arturo and his team. Dean and Leticia

Complete walkout deck
Hughes and his team did a fantastic job on our deck from design to completion. Hughes was always available and willing to spend the time to discuss the project and answer any questions. Everyone on the project was professional and their work was meticulous! There is definitely pride in the work they do and it shows. We are so happy with our deck and would highly recommend Hughes from Hickory Dickory Decks !
