    2 level deck with stairs & railings

    We went through many conceptual designs with both Joanne & Peter before deciding. The work was done in basically 1 week. Guenther & Henry were very professional In their work. We are very pleased. Frank and Sue

    It was a real pleasure working with Sue & Frank and to be able to design them a more usable space. It’s really nice when a customer is open to new ideas and changing things up a bit. They chose a Nextwood PVC colour and added a darker trim board which really gives their deck the WOW factor. This deck was the last piece needed for them to be able to enjoy their beautiful backyard!     Great Company. Highly recommend.

    We had Hickory Dickory Decks (K-W) and associated company, GHENT Landscaping, rebuilt our back and side deck, and lower patio area. It was a great experience. They're not cheap, but you get what you pay for. They listened to what we wanted and drafted a plan that met our needs. They finished the project on budget and on time. Their craftsmanship exceeded our expectations. I would recommend them to anyone who needed a new deck done right. 5 stars!

    Large Deck with wheelchair ramp

    Arturo and his team did a professional job. they fit us in. they accommodated our schedule and needs. They ensured safety and security of the site which allowed us to continue to occupy the house. We had other trades in for other services and there was no conflict.

    3 large decks for home, by H D Decks Toronto West

    Ivan Icaza runs the Toronto West division of Hickory D Decks. He could do absolutely anything and be superlative at whatever he does. He is organized and supervises all jobs and workers. He is always at the job at the beginning and end of the day. He accurately measures the job to be done, draws out detailed diagrams for every area, and is on top of every detail. With the 3 large balconies, there were changes that needed to be discussed, and Ivan was always available to explain the different choices, he never pushed us to choose a more expensive one. Completely reliable and easy to work with.Great crew. We removed old cedar decks and installed composite decks. The quality of the material and workmanship is outstanding. We are delighted to have beautiful decks for years to come.

    Backyard decks

    My team comprised Kosal, Frank and Roland from Hickory Dickory Decks Toronto East. Thank you guys so much for a fantastic job from start to finish. Friendly, helpful, punctual - from initial planning meetings with Kosal to the end product, a new deck that looks great! We can't wait until the Spring arrives to put it into use. I would definitely recommend HDD.

    Back Yard Deck

    Would highly recommend this company. Bob & his associates are true professionals who are a pleasure to deal with, & take pride in their work & their finished product. They did what they said they would do & were mindful to maintain a clean/organized work site. We are delighted with our new deck & found their pricing to be competitive.

    Backyard Deck + Pergola

    Bob is honest, genuine and pleasant to do business with. He sets high and realistic expectations then communicates in a timely manner if any changes comes up, which tends to happen in any project. His colleagues are all kind professionals who were amazing to work with and I learned a lot from them during the process. Aside from a high quality finished work, they also left the job site very clean. We built a 220 sqft deck with a pergola in our backyard. The job took just under 2 weeks to finish. I will do business with them again for future projects.

    Deck Replacement

    I purchased a new vinyl deck from Hickory Dickory Decks in 2018. This was an American product that was being discontinued in Canada. In 2021 we started to notice blotches on the deck, followed by fading in only certain parts of the deck. We filed a claim with the manufacturer only to have them reject that claim, saying that it was just natural fading (which wasn't the case since natural fading would have been across the entire deck). I contacted Hickory Dickory Decks to see what could be done. Our local franchise was changing hands and this is where the new owners come in. I cant say enough about them. They went to bat for us with the manufacturer and were able to secure some money from them. But it doesn't stop there. The amount of money provided by the manufacturer didn't cover the cost of replacing the deck. But these guys stepped up and stood behind their product. They replaced my entire deck without any cost to me and with a Canadian product which now has a 30 year warranty. I cant think of another company that has treated us this way. We have felt cared for. The owners heard our concerns and acted. If you are looking for a deck that is a quality product and is backed by ownership that stands behind their products and puts their customers first, look no further than Hickory Dickory Decks. You wont be disappointed.

    Sinking wooden porch

    The front of my porch had sunken away from the building a couple of inches, Frank ripped a few step boards off, got a couple of automotive jacks in there and dropped a new 6 X 6 vertical post in a corner, and let it all down. It was a magnificiant fix done right. My front doors close properly now! Highly recommended.
