    Washer and Dryer

After a disappointing and frustrating week, both John (Delivery Coordinator) and Katelyn did a wonderful job in helping and assisting me to make the installation happened. John and Katelyn did their job in helping a customer like me. I would give them 5 stars of having an excellent customer service. Great job guys.

Installation of new furnace and AC unit

My heating furnace broke down during the coldest week of last winter over a weekend. Due to the concern of pipe damage from freezing water, we contacted many heating furnace suppliers. We also contacted home depot and were told that a represents from our local store will get back to us within 48 hours. Mike from the home depot in Scarborough called me within 1 hr of that phone call ON A SATURDAY. I requested him to come to our property to provide a quote for replacing our 20 year old furnace. In 30 min he was at our property. He thoroughly and patiently explained the product, the rebates we qualified for and how to go about claiming the rebates. I felt no pressure during the course of our discussion, unlike most sales reps who came prior to him who were engaging in extremely aggressive pushy sales tactics. Because of his thoroughness and the competitive quote, we decided to not only replace the furnace but also the AC unit. He even provided a FREE cover for the AC unit and a FREE digital temperature controller. His team came in the next day (SUNDAY) and installed both the furnace and AC within a few hours. TRULY A SAVIOR FOR THE FRIGID WINTER. This experience has made me a loyal client for our local home depot!

    Building Supplies

Went to purchase some eves trough down spouts and didn't see the parts I needed, but there were in stock in higher shelves. Very hard to actually get someone to assist and eventually took a ladder myself and climbed up to get the parts. Store is otherwise well stocked and organized. Lots of parking. Only issue is the availability of service as once I passed the another area, saw quite a few representatives gathered at a desk chatting with each other.

    Kitchen

Last year, we had our kitchen renovated - new cupboards, sink, counter top and floor. We would like to thank Gayatri Bhatt for all the wonderful help she gave us from helping us design the kitchen to the finished job. It was a good experience so we went back to her when we wanted our bathroom done.

    Bathroom Reno

I would like to thank the staff at the Toronto Eglinton Ave. E. Store, and in particular Gayatri Bhatt for there great help with my bathroom reno and kitchen reno last year. The contractor for the bathroom was Pantera Building Contractors, and I found there help and guidance just great, as was there work on site.

    Basement floor

I bought flooring tile per case. Ceramic, 15 sqf per case, at 8$ per. So 50c per sqft. This is a rental basement and was very satisfied with the results. A few tiles were broken and even though they dont replace per tile from case only sku's they did replace the broken tiles for me - around 15 of them. They even helped me load all the cases into my truck.

    Cork Flooring and Sub Floor

Our family room is on the main floor of our third story home. Due to improper installation of insullation, the family room is un-used in the winter months. This summer I was talking to a friend about replacing the carpet in the family room and he suggested cork. I had never heard about cork for flooring so after some extensive research on the internet I decided to go ahead with cork. It is environmentally friendly and cheaper than hardwood AND has insullating properties which has made a hugh difference. Plus it also looks great and is easy to clean. It took 2 days to install but it was well worth it and fairly easy as a DIY project.
