Kiya did a wonderful job removing all the knob and tube in our home 6 years ago. We have used his services for other small projects around our home a few times again since. He quotes a fair price, comes when he says he will and completes the job professionally. He has installed pot lights, under cabinet lighting, ceiling fans, etc. He's my go to guy!

Kiya was recommended through a friend and I could not be happier. I had an electrical problem with dimming lights and power surges and Kiya identified the problem, fixed it, and as well installed a surge protector on the panel to protect my home from further power surges. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and followed up with me to ensure the issue was resolved.

Finding Kiya was my first venture with Home Stars - and I have been returning ever since. As virtually everyone has identified, Kiya showed up within a day or so to assess our work plans - installing pot lights throughout the ground floor of our old Toronto home. We hired him over others because he was obviously better informed and confident in his ability to get this rather big job done on a rather tight timeline. He also promised he would cause very little damage to the walls in the process which was also very important to us - and his price beat the competition. Not only was the job well done, Kiya also made helpful suggestions while respecting our plans. His ability to run a wire through walls without damaging them was amazing - including across a porch ceiling to the outside soffit without putting a single hole in the ceiling. (Yes, we added a few potlights in the soffit over the porch - looks AMAZING on a winter's night and provides soft light on a summer's evening...) He also added a new electric panel, making sure the house was up to code in all areas. He put up the stove hood - and came back to make adjustments to it without any fuss or extra cost. He fixed a ceiling fan, installed a ceiling light and fixed an outlet without charging us. I was truly overjoyed - as most service contractors are reluctant to add any jobs and these old houses are full of little incidental issues that often get ignored and left undone. We not only appreciated Kiya's work, but we enjoyed him and his team. We really missed them when they said good-bye last summer.

Kiya rewired the whole house (was a mix of knob and tube, ungrounded, older grounded) and updated the electric panel to current standards. Cleaned up old wires and moved switches/outlets to locations that made more sense. His team was punctual, reliable, efficient and accommodating to our requests. His quote was within timelines and price. Kiya was recommended to us from someone who had work done 5 years ago, and we would not hesitate in recommending Kiya going forward. Great work! Our very old house needed all of the knob and tube wiring replaced. After getting quotes from others at twice the price, I looked on the reviews here and decided to contact Kiya Electric. Mr. Kiya Daliri provided many good references, had done similar work in my neighbourhood (same type of house) and told me exactly what they would be doing and how much it would cost. If there were other extras to do, the additional costs were reasonable and were explained to me ahead of time. No walls or ceilings had to come down, which was a great relief. They started on time and worked away until the job was done. I cannot even begin to list what they did – they practically replaced everything: new wiring, new panels, smoke and carbon monoxide alarms, new plugs, some additional lighting fixtures. I had to declutter the house while they were working and they worked around it. What could have been a nightmare situation in the end became totally manageable, thanks to the patience of Mr. Kiya Daliri and his team. They patched up everything when they left and now everything is up to code. Mr. Daliri is a very conscientious, hard-working individual who knows what he is doing, and he and his team did a wonderful job. (I still use the contractor he recommended for non-electrical repairs.) I cannot recommend Kiya Electric enough.

I found Kiya through Homestars as we needed an electrician for our condo renovation. Kiya showed up promptly. He gave a competitive quote, but more importantly inspired us with his professionalism and integrity. Kiya did excellent electrical work throughout the condo, always showing up promptly and prepared. Kiya never charged more when something took longer than expected (our fault for very hard to install fans with lights!) and gave excellent suggestions how to do something better...our kitchen under cabinet lights are top quality and provide stunning light. This is due to suggestions on what to use and how they should be installed. I would definitely use Kiya again and recommend him highly to anyone looking for an excellent, professional, honest -and easy to work with - electrician.

Kiya was refered by one of my friend to fix dryer machine in my home. His work was excellent, neat and clean work and very professional as well. I will strongly recommend him for any future work...he is the best i have come across in canada within last 6 years.

I was referred to Kiya by a colleague at my law firm to do the electrical in my basement. He came after hours to give me an estimate on the same afternoon that I called him. Two days later the majority of the work was completed. I was extremely satisfied because he was prompt, knowledgable and his rates were reasonable. I'm definitely going to use him for my next project and would recommend him to any of my friends. He did a much larger job for my colleague (a nob and tube gut job).

Kiya returned my call very quickly after I called and was very knowledgeable about the external electrical situation in our 1935 home. He was such a huge help in an emergency situation and I very much appreciated all he did for us! I would highly recommend Kiya!
