    Furnace Repair

    Bryan quickly assessed the problem with my furnace and returned the next day to replace the broken part. We were amazed at how quickly and efficiently this was completed. Bryan is very professional, and is supported by an office team that are also very helpful and responsive.

    new A/C unit installation

    Artie and Ryan from Laird & Son installed my new A/C unit in late July 2014. The install we seamless and easy. I was up and running and enjoying my "cool" family room in a few hours. I found both Artie and Ryan extremely knowledgeable and friendly. They took their time in explaining all the features of my new unit. Josh

    Home Furnace

    During the last winter my furnace stopped working. I call Laird and Sons to come out and fix it. The were prompt and professional. I had some concerns about the cost of the part that was replaced. I paid the bill and contacted Laird and Son. Neill Laird called me personally and said that he would review it. Shortly there after he called me with a resolution. His resolution was more than fair. I quite frankly didn't think this type of integrity existed in the home repair industry! Neill Laird, Heather and Jackie (In the Office) were great! I have complete confidence in the future that I can trust this company. I'm sorry for the delay in letting others know about my experience. (Quick to complain, slow to praise) Thanks again for your integrity. Wayne Shepherd

    High Efficiency Boiler and Hot Water System

    Laird and Son were very professional. They quoted the best price for a high efficiency system with high quality components and gave options for boiler make. They honoured their quote when technical questions arose prior to installation and made a very neat installation with well trained, polite technicians. The installation took 3 days rather than the 2 days originally promised but is now working well.

    air conditioning repair

    I am very impressed with this Company. It is a family owned business and they are very customer focused. I have now had to call them twice in emergency situations, once in winter with a furnace breakdown and recently with an A/C problem. They are trustworthy and excellent in their work as well as very professional.

    Replaced Air Conditioner and Installed Split Ductless Air Conditioner

    Brian recommended that we not only replace our AC but supplement it with a ductless unit for the back of the house. The installation was done efficiently and very professionally by Mike, Ryan and Mack. We couldn't be happier with the result. Our house has never been as comfortable. Thank you for a job well done.

    Furnace Repair - Fan Replacement

    When my furnace broke down in February, I had another company come to check out the furnace. After that company told me my furnace needed to be completely replaced, Laird & Son was recommended to me. Laird & Son arrived quickly and gave me a quote for the work that was actually required- replacing a fan, not the entire furnace. They were fast, incredibly honest and did an excellent job- not a single problem since! The technician was also very friendly and was kind enough to answer my most basic questions about furnace operation. I would HIGHLY recommend this company to anyone particularly those who aren't familiar with the mechanics and operation of these systems and want to be treated honestly and fairly.

    Air Condition Repair

    Called Laird last evening and they contacted me early morning to set up a repair. Ken Tilson was the repairman and he was excellent. Very knowledgeable and efficient. And he arrived on time. Would strongly recommend Laird and Son.

    Hot Water Tank replacement

    Amazing company to deal with. Reliable and fast service. It was very easy to setup the first appointment. Sam was very professional in explaining what's required to comply the code and what is not, and suggested viable alternatives. The installation of the tank, as well as, chimney liner was a breeze and done fast, each part by separate dedicated crew member. Highly recommended!

    Emergency service calls

    Laird & Son is really a first rate company. On a cold February day I discovered a water leak from the gas boiler. Within hours their service representative, Bryan, arrived at my door and solved the problem within an hour. All seemed well but there was a separate problem that only appeared in the small hours of the following morning. The heat went off and it started to get cold. I called Laird & Son and within minutes Ken returned my call. He showed up within an hour and this time fixed an electrical problem. By 3.30 am the heat was back on. Everything was covered under the "ultra" service contact except for a total cost of $150 for the two attendances. Gold stars for Bryan and Ken!
