On Nov.28, Brian arrived at the appointed time for my annual furnace servicing. As per other visits he was courteous, friendly and efficient. In addition to fixing a small water leak, he took the time to answer numerous questions I had. I highly recommend Laird, and particularly Brian (I will as for him by name when my air conditioner needs checking in the spring).

Ken Tilson from Laird & Son was here this morning to help clear up the 4 red tags that Enbridge issued us yesterday after we discovered a gas leak at our house. Ken was here 15 minutes early (love that), he was quiet (the baby was napping), and he worked away at all of the issues. Ken also took the time to explain the issue, review the tags with me, and to find an alternative solution to one of the problems so as to save me hundreds of dollars. Laird and Son removed our oil furnace, tank & pipes, replaced with a gas furnace and air purification system efficiently, cleanly and with little delay or disturbance. They arranged for Enbridge to install the gas line and meter and we did nothing but call for the inspection and hand them a cheque. Service is their forte and if you want results and not regrets make sure they are on your list of contractors for quotes. Highly recommend for their service, attitude and attention to customer needs. I purchased my furnace and air conditioner from Laird & Son. I had my annual cleaning of the furnace by Bryan and he was prompt, professional and knowledgeable. He even fixed a problem with an air vent. I would highly recommend Laird & Son.

A few days ago our family turned the furnace on for the first time for the season. We shortly discovered that after one hour of operation the temperature of the house had not moved and the furnace was not operating. Upon recommendation from a neighbour we called laird & son for their help. The person who answered the phone was very helpful and knowledgable. They gave me a very fast appointment the following day at 8 am with a technician named Sam. I thought it was great that they inform the home owner of the name of the technician that will be coming. Next morning the technician, Sam, showed up promptly at 8 am and was very polite and knowledgable. Sam discovered the issue within minutes of diagnosing the problem and had a solution for repairing it. We were given a quote before any work was to be done, unlike most companies that surprise the homeowner with an amount after work has already been done. Overall our experience was great with this company and its staff members. Thank you again

I've used Laird and son for many years to clean my furnace and for the new furnace installation. Anyone using them should ask for Bryan. He is conscientious, efficient, and very knowledgeable. He is a great problem solver too!

We regularly use this company for the servicing of the heating & cooling equipment in our home. One of their service men who we request for, is Bryan. He is knowledgeable, efficient & trustworthy. We would recommend this Company to anyone who want their furnace & cooling serviced on a regular basis.

This past year, I have used Laird & Son twice, and highly recommend this company. Both times, the technicians were punctual, friendly, and attentive to the work. But they also brought a genuine enthusiasm and energy, and a keen attention to detail. For example, the workers who installed our new ductless system noticed during a test that it didn't sound "right." They realized an electrician had installed the old one incorrectly. Figuring that out, and fixing the problem, saved us a lot of hassles and extended the life of our unit. The worker who came to do our furnace maitenance, Bryan Medina, also fixed an expansion tank that was installed incorrectly the year before by a different company, and found the "air duct" on an unusual radiator we have that other companies swore didn't exist. He was very pleasant, and was happy to answer my questions about how best to maintain our heating system. Over the years, I have become a somewhat jaded homeowner - but Laird & Son has helped me believe again that there are good companies out there that go beyond their checklists and work orders to deliver excellent service. So, thank you, Bryan and gang!

We have used Laird & Son twice this year. Once for our a/c & yesterday for our furnace. In both cases, the service was prompt, polite & most importantly: Very fair! Both repairs were very minor & I'm sure other companies would have told us we needed more substantial repairs. The technicians (Bryan for a/c & Ken for furnace) just repaired what was needed - they never tried to up sell us. We will ONLY call Laird & Son for any a/c & furnace repairs - and will recommend them to our clients!
