Laird & Son installed a new gas furnace and central air conditioning for us in 2002. From the very first sales call to the regular maintenance they do every year, each interaction I've had with their technicians and office staff has exceptional. This company seems to understand and apply the principles of excellent customer service! A rare thing... And Service Technician Bryan Medina is one of the friendliest and most professional people I've ever met. Keep up the great work, Bryan and all the staff at Laird & Son.

After problems with a previous contractor we were recommended to Laird & Sons. Bryan Medina came to review the work requirement stipulated by Enridge. He quickly analysed the situation, reviewed the work plan with us, gave us an approximation of the costs, contacted additional contractors to perform outside and cimney work and within a day was able to activate the gas supply. Bryan performed excellent technical work, kept us informed of his progress, quarterbacked the entire project and made sure all items on the work orders were completed and signed off. He was a pleasure to work with and an excellent representative of the company.

Just when the cold hits it never fails the furnance starts to act up. Sure enough that's what happed. I called Laird and Son and they were able to get a technician out right away. Sam was great and identified the issue right away. He was professional and friendly and showed us how to avoid issues in the future by ensuring we maintained and cleaned the equipment properly. It was a great experience I would recommend their services to any friends and family.

Ron Potter provided me with a quote on a new central AC unit in May, 2010. He provided and explained several options, all competitively priced. Installation by Ken Tilson was flawless. The new unit was relocated to another side of the house without damage to the substantial gardening along the new run. Based on my satisfaction with this experience, I did not hesitate to call again for an upgrade to my Gas Furnace in Sept, 2012. Once again, Ron provided a competitive rate, Darren Bond installed the unit efficiently, and Ken returned to install a new humidifier. Other than a leaky saddle valve, which was replaced with more reliable soldered ball valve, I am very satisfied with every aspect of this company's performance. They are punctual, are approachable to answer questions, provide quality and timely installation, at the prices quoted. From salesman, to office staff, to installation and service, I highly recommend dealing with this company.

One year old furnace installed by another service provider stopped working. Called Laird & Son as the name was familiar and recommended by a friend in the area. Bryan was in the area, stopped by on his way to another call, happened to have the right part in the van and was on his way, problem solved - heat restored - 30 minutes from the original call. I am thrilled.

The coldest week of winter and the furnace dies. Atlas came and diagnosed motor died, said it would cost 1000$ but they probably couldn't get the part for 4 days, but offered an estimate on a new furnace (5,000$). We called Laird for a second opinion - they found the part, installed it the same say and apologized for having to charge us $800. Great service, friendly and good people.

Needed a last minute furnace to take advantage of a rebate. Laird was there. Awesome professional installers. Long history in the area so we chose them. Not the cheapest, but quality and very good installers.

I have used Laird & Sons for a number of projects over the past 3 years. Dave always has helpful recommendations for the right products for the job. The installation team is professional and neat.

A big thank your to Laird and Son's Ken Tilson for a hassle-free annual furnace maintenance at two of our properties in Scarborough this past Nov. 2012. He is very knowledgeable about his work and his services were provided in a courteous and down-to-earth manner. When he discovered a missing part from one of the furnaces, he returned at a later date to have it installed at no extra cost to me. Thanks Laird and Son! Also a big thanks to Heather who arranged the service call appointments over the phone in a very friendly and accommodating way. Highly recommend this company for all your furnace needs!

I can’t say enough about Neil Laird and his team. They supplied and serviced my old oil furnace for a long time so of course they were the first I went to, for a quote. Ron gave me a fantastic deal and handled everything! My old furnace and tank removal, new gas line install form Enbridge and of course the new furnace install. The tank removal guys were fantastic, clean and had everything out in 1 hour! Then Ryan and Dave did the install..Great guys, very professional and did an amazing job. My new Lennox furnace is soo much quieter than the old furnace and has changed the climate of the house. Everything they promised was out-performed and done to perfection.. I will recommend and use Laird for years to come.
