Recently my decorator advised us to visit Johnson's for our bedroom furniture. As most people do these days, I looked them up on the web and read all the poor reviews about service etc. I decided to go and see them anyways and I AM GLAD I DID. I was pretty upfront with Patrick Johnson about his ratings and he right away admitted to me that it was the case and they are working very hard to change this perception. My experience was as close to perfect as I could ask for. Everything was shipped on time and the products were exactly as ordered. One thing that did occur was that when the installers came they put a nail in too deep and it came through the other side. Well Mark Johnson dealt with me directly and I had my new bed up within a few days. Customer service starts when there is an issue. That is when you really know what things are like. I would recommend Johnson's to anyone who is looking for good quality furniture at affordable prices. Say hi to Patrick for me. He will likely greet you at the store.

Although the prices of the furniture are good, the service is poor and frustrating. I purchased a sofa and chair. It took three months to finally get the furniture delivered. The delivery guys had to come back three times as they made mistakes in the order (i.e. wrong couch, then wrong chair, then wrong pillows). The sales people were not helpful. I would not recommend G. H. Johnson.

I would absolutely not recommend this store to anyone, much less shop there again. I understood that the delivery time would take longer than usual as this is a trading company. However, the 3 times where no one showed up and the 4 occasions where my requests for information went unanswered have left me with a very clear opinion of this store: mismanaged and predatory. They have excellent sales people that can sell ice to an Eskimo but the follow up service and care are nonexistent. The furniture is ok, nothing out of this world. Ditto with prices. Would never go back.

I love going to the store (old warehouse converted) and walking around to see the latest furniture pieces, even if I am not buying for myself or my clients. I have been buying here since the company started! As a decorator, I am always looking for furniture that makes my client's space look unique and special. The service is fantastic and the reps go that extra mile to help me find what I am looking for.

Looking for furniture for my new home, I found GHJ and it was a real pleasure dealing with them. I got a beautiful dining room set from here, very stylish and elegant and at a very reasonable price.

GH Johnson exceeded all of our expectations. The sales associate was extremely knowledgeable and honest about how long we would have to wait for our bedroom set. We didn't mind because the look and price could not be beat and great things are worth the wait. We also ordered a wall unit and a leather sofa and love seat which was available immediately and delivered in three days.

I came in to GH Johnson to buy a red and comfortable sofa for my dental office. The staff was very helpful, and soda has a great quality. I highly recommend this store.

Purchase a bed frame and two nightstands (College line). We priced it out at another retailer and GH Johnson was able to beat the price considerably. It was delivered ahead of schedule by three weeks which was unexpected since the last bedroom set I bought there was two weeks late. Delivery guys were outstanding by being quick, courtious, clean, and professional. Again, much better than some other deliveries we have received lately. After reading several reviews the one thing I keep reading over and over is the delivery time. Note that it doesn't matter who you are buying furniture the ability to meet the delivery date promise time is 50/50. I'm not excusing GH Johnson or any other retailers, I'm just speaking from experience that you should note set that delivery date in stone. If they say 6 to 8 weeks expect it in 12 weeks so if it somes on time you'll be pleasantly surprised.

Once again, GHJohnson's deserves accolades for exceptional service and product. As a designer, I have been furnishing homes with furnishings and decorative accessories for decades from GHJohnson's. In today's society, customer service is tops in my opinion. When servicing my clients, I need to know that I can be absolutely confident that suppliers can be trusted. Pat Johnson and his staff are consistently helpful in guiding me through each project with custom pieces, signature designs and in some cases, even clearance merchandise. My clients recently purchased about $7000 to furnish their living, dining room and solarium. We were thoroughly pleased with high end pieces at bargain prices. This included some custom made pieces which were all delivered on schedule, installed to perfection by well trained staff who were well mannered and professional. I would like to say thank you to Pat and his wonderful staff for offering exceptional product at affordable prices for all these years. The VIP service at Johnson's is a major bonus to rely on when working with my clients who are consistently happy with purchases; especially since there is always a wide selection displayed at 950 DuPont.

We bought beautiful couches from them about 8 years ago and although the quality was great the service and delivery time was terrible. It actually doesn't make up for the cheap price of the products. I've recently been into the store over the last couple of months and am shocked at how cheap the quality of their products are now. They definitely have changed in terms of their quality and standards. Toronto has some amazing furniture stores with very good quality and good prices, I woudn't recommend this store anymore. It's unfortunate because they had a reputation of having really great furniture, not anymore.
