While I always had faith in this company to do a good job at cleaning my ducts or repairing my furnace, the true test of a great company is during big projects....and Northwood surpassed my expectations!! Gary, Brian and the whole team know the HVAC business inside and out and replaced my existing furnace and air conditioning with the best products that my budget would allow! They completed the job on time, with respect for my home and with minimal disruption. They seem to go the extra mile to ensure their customers get the best service possible. I highly, HIGHLY recommend this company!!

After purchasing a home for our retirement in Wasaga Beach, we found that the electric heating which came with the house was very costly and not at all working at a comfortable level. Brian and Gary intially came to see what was needed for our home to run efficiently and at a minimal cost(we are retired). The job started on a Thursday,Santos and Art came in and did the instillation of the furnace and just in the nick of time as we were in a cold spell. They we very informative as to what they were doing and did a fantastic job. They came in the next day to put in our Air Condidtioning. While they were there my husband making small talk told them our dryer did not work very well. Santos noticed that the dryer was not vented outside and they did that for us at no extra charge. All the guys who were here were all very professional and informative. I will recommend them to all my friends and family!!! I can only thank you very much for a job well done. If you are ever in Wasaga Beach this summer please stop by for a cool drink !!

Jermaine and Art did a great job cleaning the ducts in my 100-year old home. Another great service call with complete satisfaction from Northwood. First got their name from Holmes on Homes and sure am glad I did. A couple of winters ago, Gary found a dangerous leak in the furnace, which even home inspector had missed, and took care of it ASAP. Thanks and keep up the good work, guys!

My wife and I noticed a bit of water leaking on & off from the furnace back in Dec 08. Thinking it was just a loose tube/drainage connection we thought nothing of it. In early Feb 09 on a Saturday morning my 5 yr old son came racing upstairs to tell me there's a pool around my furnace and sure enough there was. Now we moved into out new home in Aug of 03 & guess what... warranty for this furnace was 5 years from the date of closing and we were just over. Needless to say, THE HOME BUILDER could care less but that's a whole other story for another forum. Brand new high efficiency furnaces should not go in 5&1/2 years. I called Northwood (I'm an avid Holmes on Homes watcher) on that very Saturday morning and Gary was kind enough to come out right away to check things out. He inspected everything to a tee including the carbon monoxide level around the furnace. He came to the conclusion that the secondary unit was the cause of the leak and it needed to be replaced. Now, my wife and I were expecting to replace the entire unit ($$$$) but Gary went back to his shop and worked the phones (again and again) with the maker of the furnace (American Standard) and he delivered big time. Not only did Gary get the Secondary Unit under warranty from A.S. but the Primary as well (pretty much a whole new furnace). What could have turned into thousands of dollars ended up being covered under warranty. The furnace was repaired yesterday, and my wife and I could not be happier with the quality service and care Northwood showed. John worked his butt off yesterday (10-5pm) replacing the units and many thanks to Jermaine as well who cleaned my filthy air ducts. The home builder says they cleaned them back in 2003 when we closed but I got the visual yesterday. Broken drywall, nails, brick debris, hardwood flooring chips, and other garbage. My wife walked into the home yesterday and could smell the freshness throughout the home. It's like the house was allowed to breath with both lungs. God knows what we were inhaling for 5 years. Again, many thanks to Gary, John, Jermaine & Jose. You guys are the best!! See you in May. We've joined the Northwood Service Plan.

Northwood saved us thousands of dollars in repair costs. With the heat not working I called the other guys. They told my wife that the 11 year old boiler had to be totally gutted and would cost more than a new one to get repaired. We called Northwood for a second opinion. John checked over the system and found some scaling that could be the problem. One maintenance visit later and our boiler is running like the day we got it. Next time we are going to Northwood first. Thank you John and Josie at Northwood, and thank you Homestars, for giving us a chance to tell everyone how good they are.

Brain and staff provided exceptional work to my business and home. The service was a breath of fresh air. The work was professional, detailed, clean, and organized. I was especially pleased with how personable the entire team was. They will continue to have my business and I strongly recommend this referral to any business, home, etc.They went above and beyond for my business and I am truly grateful. Bought a 100 year old house that needed a new furnace, ac unit, humidifier, cleaner etc... No problem right? Well the tough part is the lack of proper HVAC design and poor placement of supplies/returns etc done previously. Gary came by and didn't even blink. His experience showed and when Brian and the gang arrived, they worked to the point that I felt guilty. The job is now done and the house is warm. Northwood is highly recommended.

Northwood delivered!! I bought an old, poorly renovated house that was in desperate need of some proper airflow (3 working heating vents... 1 in the proper spot??) and if it wasn't for Gary Landry and his crew, my family and I would be freezing right now. Northwood came and worked efficiently on a job that to me seemed daunting. From the demo that revealed drywall screwed into already existing ductwork and electrical wiring in places it shouldn't be... to the problem of getting a heating duct in the master bedroom though the beams ran horizontally... NO problem was too big. And as these hiccups arose, the communication between myself and Gary (and the rest of the guys) was great. They really did a beautiful job of making sure the heat would get into every part of my home. For that I am sooo pleased. They also cleaned up after every workday. For that I am very grateful. Nothing was done without my approval.. they were courteous and kind, had a good sense of humour even with the other tradesmen who came into my home to do work. That sort of respect and congeniality makes them exceptional. They finished the work on-time, as scheduled and I missed them when they were gone. I look forward to using them again for duct cleaning... air conditioning. They'll always be welcome in my home. They're highly recommended.

It was the coldest night of the year during the recent cold snap and the furnace went out. After a night of getting by with a space heater in the bedroom and trying to get service from another company we called Northwood and they sent John over who found the problem right away and got us back online with heat. We had a second issue that night with a loose power connection and they came back out again and solved the problem right away. We have now been problem free and are thankful for the prompt and friendly service we received from Northwood and would recommend them to anyone having similar problems.

My furnace called it quits on January 5th. I called other companies and let them know that I had NO heat in my house. By the 8th I still had no heat and no one had returned my call. On my way to work that morning I was behind a Northwood van and wrote down the phone number. I called when I got to work and they came that night to take a look at my problem and by end of day Friday I had a new furnace. Gary and his guys were very professonal,curtios & answered any questions I had. I have and will recommend them to anyone who is in need of heating/air conditioning services. Thanks Guys!
