    Tempur Pedicure Bed/Electric Adjustable frame

5 months in to our purchase, electric adjustable head/foot frame has begun to break and needs repair. We have been getting the run a round and no one will call us back. We are not happy after our experience.

    Sleep Country - New Mattress

I had to type here some good things about Sleep Country-Metrotown. If you have had bad service anywhere else in the lower mainland I suggest you go here. We had excellent service and bought a new Serta mattress and had wonderful financing that has no interest for 12 months. When you buy a used mattress from Sleep Country the warranty is limited. Our last purchase was from a Sleep Country and the 10 year mattress lasted exactly 10 years. This service rep was more than happy to help us find just the right mattress for us, even showing us a mattress that was on sale when I had originally asked for a more expensive one because it would not have given us a good sleep if we didn't get the Serta. If you have problems with Sleep Country go to another location or consider buying a new mattress and finance it if you can.

    Kingsdown Mattress

Kingsdown Barrymore mattress less than a year old! Recently sat on the end of mattress and heard a metallic ping. Very noticeably soft on edge of bed now. The other 3 sides of the mattress are fine. The sleep country warranty representative signed on form acknowledging this fact. He says that he can not find a reason for the softness therefore no warranty. I will not buy another mattress from Sleep Country. 10 yr warranty is not worth the paper that it is written on!

    mattress, cover and pillows

I paid for a new mattress, it was delivered, it had a toxic smell, lasted a week, but I knew it was new anyway. Thats because they have a reuse system, where you can get a used mattress. I decided to exchange for a different mattress, it was suppose to be new, but it turned out to be used. So I paid $500. more for a used mattress!!!! No satisfaction from emails or phone calls either! I was offered to pay another $500 for the same mattress (NEW) a 2015 model!! That's suppose to make it OK??? Not at all!!! Be careful when you purchase, make sure you don't get a used mattress, when you want,(and pay for) a new mattress UNUSED!!!!!!!!!

    Mattresses

We were looking for a new mattress and knew we wanted a Tempurpedic brand. We went to many stores to check out the brands available and to compare prices. Sleep Country had a great rate going on the Tempurpedic brand because it was just after the Home and Garden Show and so they were discounted. The staff was very helpful and patient. I went back with a friend when she needed a new mattress and she appreciated the flexibility of the delivery dates, the fact you could put mattresses on hold with a returnable deposit, and that the delivery people were on time and asked if she needed help with anything else after the delivery. I would suggest to others to go to Sleep Country.

    Mattress and Box Spring

I will never purchase anything from Sleep Country again. the customer service is crappy and their 10 year warranty that was supposed to be 100 percent covered is not real and they come up with anything and any reason not to warranty your products. I owned my mattress and Box Spring for less than a year and the frame on the box spring broke and they would not warranty it whatsoever. I would never recommend anyone buy from Sleep Country canada.

    Warranty exchange

Shop 2nd hand if you have to but NEVER give this joint 2 cents...wouldn't approve warranty exchange...contacted manufacturer who agreed to give me one.chose a new mattress was aware I had to pay the difference. Get the receipt and the wrong model was entered as replacement so I called had the one we actually wanted ordered(if I didn't catch this the schmuck would have gotten the wrong replacement) I said what is the new price of the model we want and he said the same. I said how's that possible this model you priced is WAY more than the model I choose and according to the prices pinned to each of the bed that also confirmed what I as saying then he went on oh about SECRET PRICING he originally said I have to pay RETAIL pricing so which is it? for serious real and I said ok fine I guess you can do that but how can to different models have the exact same secret pricing? It just does mam..ahhh I see so it's gonna be like this you just want to make $150+ tax off my warranty replacement?! He said store mgr couldn't change it so there would be no difference I know mattresses can be dickered 25-30% easy but 7.5% just couldn't be lost pfffffft inept Scheister not even a mgr works out of this store but in another city!!! No hard Copy or online access to their warranty exchange policies so basically don't ask questions and whatever we make up goes! Unreal organization or at least in my city!! PS sleep country customer service agent confirmed secret pricing does exist but she said IT was strange 2 different models would have the same secret pricing.

Seelp Country - Kingsdown Passions Rockwell

Well this is my experience. Think again before you commit to buy from Sleep Country as my experience with their customer service is not very good so far. Given that these mattresses are covered 20 years of warranty, to deal with these people for the rest of the products life is unimaginable. I have shortlisted Sears and Sleep Country as my finalists to buy a queen size mattress (after considering Brick – I have to buy a credit card from them to get the financing, Lowes / Walmart / Cosco – I did not like their selection). I choose SC over Sears since sears only had 3 months financing without pay plus they did not have motion isolation feature in their mattress that I was comparing with. Most of all SC said they can deliver the mattress on the following day as they have some stock left. SC said if that is not they will deliver in 3 days – Free delivery. For Sears I had to buy from my Sears master card plus the price should be 500+ before tax to become eligible for free delivery. So I choose SC. From SC I choose a package with City Financing (1 year to pay off with 21 CAD admin fee), plus their insurance called “Advantage+Mattress protection Plan” for which they would clean the mattress for any stains for 10 years and if not they would replace the mattress. (The warranty return has a 60CAD inspection fee, which is separate) Since I did the price match over phone, the sales person (Arlene) wanted me to pay a 10% advance right at that time as to hold the mattress until I come and sign off all papers as she was not ready to wait for one more hour for my presence saying someone else would get the remaining stock and then they would not be able to deliver early as promised. I returned to the store after about an hour and finished all the paperwork. Right after I have signed all papers sales person told me that they do not have a matching box spring. I was first surprised. Then I asked why? Well, according to her she has not checked the inventory properly on the earlier occasion when she was telling. She apologized. I have accepted apologies as I don't want to go all the way back to Sears now. However, back of my mind I was felt like not treated fairly. SC have won over the competitor just by providing misleading information. On the other hand I have already wasted good part of my day for getting this deal so I did not want to waste any more of my time, otherwise I would have cancelled the order right at that time and leave their store. As per new time lines the order now takes five days to deliver, as box spring is coming from the factory as per sales person. They also said they would give me a 3 hour window and some one has to be at home to get the delivery. Since the new delivery is falling on a working day (middle of week), I have to take time off for that to happen. I asked if they can deliver it after 6 pm and sales told me that they would need to charge me extra 50CAD to do that. Ridiculous, I refused. On the following day my phone rang. Its from SC. They wanted me to come to store and sing a new receipt as they have printed my name incorrectly. I remember four eyes checked and cross compared the receipt with my drivers license before I sign. I am not sure how they missed it. Anyway, I visit again and signed for the revised receipt. After two days, SC sales person called me again. This time she wanted a photo copy of my two identities. I was not happy and now as I am disappointed with them as they wanted me to visit store again meaning I have to take time off to do that. In case if I choose not to do so then mattress delivery was said to be delayed as to financing being not approved. What I don't understand is why should I pay off from my time for their mistakes. This time there is not even an apology from sales person as to this is a requirement from City Financing due to my name was misspelled on the first occasion. I would favour the situation if sales person from SC has not forgotten to take a photo copy of my identities and destroy them if they were not needed at the first instance I handed over to her for inspection. Unfortunately, it look like SC does not have good process in place than bugging their customer to pay with customers time and money for their own mistakes. I will update this review through out the life of this product. When you deal with SC be aware. My experience with them so far is not pleasing. I am just starting off a journey of 20 years :) if it last that long. - 2017Jan21 update: I gave up the mattress after 2 years. Its sagging. Never attempted bothering with warranty after reading bad experience of other customers. Bought a new mattress today - and I know its not going to be any different either.

    Box spring

I bough a sleep set at the big sale August 2014 for my sister who is very ill and is very heavy. The sales person was aware of this. A few months later, after normal use, the box spring shattered on one side. It's construction was very flimsy. Sleep Country voided warranty due to "ABUSE". Complained directly to store;they offered to 'do something' but we had to pay more $ & they wanted us to transport the box spring ourselves (which we could not do). Finally so frustrated,we bought a new box spring from different company. Not impressed - they sell shoddy material & have poor customer service.
