    house move

I have used Tender Touch moving before and was very satisfied. I called again and even with the few problems I encountered...none of which had to do with Tender Touch, they bent over backwards to make the move a safe and easy one. I commend the office staff Maria whom went out of her way to make the move fantastic. The driver and helpers were so incredible and patient with my mother, who kept changing her mind about where things should go. I will never use another company for any moves and if anyone ever asks me about a moving company Tender Touch is the only one I will recommend. Thanks to Maria (office) Elvis, Mike and Pedro...job well done.

    Residential moving

We recently consolidated the contents of two condos into one house. Tender Touch made the moving process amazingly easy. Maria was helpful with administration and our crew of Wayne, Pete and Kareem did an excellent job! They wrapped everything carefully and made sure that every item was delivered (right down to a few screws that dropped out of our furniture!). Everyone involved lived up to the company name. We have already spread the word to friends and family - if you're planning to move, go with Tender Touch!

    Move Markham > Vancouver

We needed to relocate us and our stuff in February 2011. Much googling, Homestars & BBB cross-referencing, and whittling down to a short list of companies - one representing each of the major trucking lines since all long-distance moves end up using one of them! We were eventually choosing between two companies, each with almost identical ratings (including BBB), and Tender Touch was the cheaper by almost 20%. The treatment of our goods, for which Tender Touch in Markham deserve the lion's share of praise, was superb. Of over 9,000lbs of assorted items, we had a grand total of 1 broken desk and a couple of misaligned brakes on our bikes. The desk they warned us up-front would not likely survive (it was a very light, cheap Ikea item). Not even a single glass or dish was busted. We did pack our own boxes, and were sure to use plenty of paper etc. but we were still stunned when after trekking from Markham to Vancouver (via Montreal!) in temps from +25 to -21C (we left an electronic thermometer in one of the boxes), being reloaded onto a small truck for delivery to our downtown apartment that we ended up just losing that desk. The bikes were due a service anyway. Both crews (Markham and Vancouver) were uniformed, prompt, efficient and friendly. Runners were laid everywhere, so no problems with cleanup. The only issues we had were on the admin side - we did have to initiate all the contacts, rather than receiving updates without asking even when the truck was obviously going to be late (due to being diverted to Montreal for a pickup). We did receive compensation for each of the 3 days it was late, which would have been enough for a modest hotel room each night so we can't complain too much. The office staff member doing all of the quotes never managed to actually get us a completely-correct quote despite asking three times - each time she fixed one error, she put back a different one. Eventually we gave up asking once the numbers were all correct, and just called the driver ourselves to correct the apartment number. It's possible that our other short-listed competitor would have provided better service on the admin front - their pitch guy who came to quote really pushed on service & accuracy rather than cost. But spending an extra hour making a few calls & emails was well-worth the almost $2000 difference in price to me. If you demand perfection at all stages, are having your move paid for by your company or don't care about best price, you might find a better option - but when we next move in Vancouver we will absolutely be calling Tender Touch!

    Moving

Elvis and Mo are very trustworthy movers. They are polite and professional and they made me feel confidant about the move. They were quite pleasant and answered any questions I had. Everything was explained to me thoroughly so I never felt out of the loop. It was definitely a good experience, which is rare for moving days because they're usually so stressful!

    Moving/Storage

Everything about the move out of my last condo and into my new condo was great. I have my stuff in storage for 2 years and had absolutely ZERO damage to any of my items (not even a glass/dish...NOTHING). The only comment I would have is that it definitely is more expensive than other services out there (Move out into storage was $1000, move into new condo out of storage $650). But that being said, you have to ask yourself "Is it worth paying a little more to make sure you get all your personal belongings back in 100% perfect condition"? Personally, the cost is well worth the stress free aspect of the move and the piece of mind that my stuff was well taken care of. As an example, every item you move out is inventoried, so when you move back in, you have to initial beside the item to confirm that it has been delivered (full proof system). I would surely use this service in the future and recommend it to others who want a stress free move, and assurance that there stuff will be well taken care of. Remember...you get what you pay for!

    Move

These guys are true professionals. What's more, it seemed to me that they really love their job, which is not something you find very often nowadays. The move was quick, well organized and entertaining. I will definitely use them again.

    Condo move

This is my third time using Tender Touch, and the reason I keep going back to them is because of the care they take when moving my furniture and belongings. Wayne and Elvis were the two working on my move and they were very efficient and personable throughout the move. Elvis was especially great to work with and he was constantly making sure that things were being done to my satisfaction. It took longer than expected (ergo, my bill was higher than the original estimate) given the navigation of narrow condo corridors and elevators required, but overall it was a job well done by both guys.

Wayne, Justin and Elvis were our movers. They were punctual ( on a snowy morning), efficient, and friendly. They made the move easy and stress-free for me and my family.

Moving bed, sofa, love seat, book cases, TV, TV stand, bedroom rug and coffee table

I decided to go with Tender Touch after reading their online reviews, and was extremely pleased with the service. Maria at the front office was very professional and helped me get my move arranged quickly and with the costs explained upfront. Wayne and Wade did an exceptional job on moving day -- they were fast, careful and helped me get my new condo set up right. Thanks to everyone at Tender Touch.
