    Chimney work and wall masonry

    Bill returned my calls quickly, got the info and said he would get back to me when there was suitable weather. Bill did call back with an appointment, came when they said, and did a GREAT job. Bill also took steps to save us money on the total job. Great to deal with, true to his word, and very personable!

    clean chimney, new caps

    Bill responded quickly to my request for service and was out the following day...on time, quick, professional...cleaned chimney and installed new chimney cap...mentioned masonary was in good shape...excellent service all around.

    Hurricane Sandy

    Two years ago Bill, the owner of The Chimney Company, tuck-pointed and resurfaced the cap of my chimney in the Scarborough Bluffs. He did an excellent and clean job and came in with the most reasonable quote. Last week the strong winds of Sandy shifted some of the hardware atop my chimney. I phoned the Chimney Company and asked for a quote to have it repaired. Two days later Bill emailed me to say he had taken care of the problem at NO CHARGE! I couldn't believe it. This company is the best and I give Bill and his team the very highest recommendation.

    crumbling clay chimney liner replaced with stainless steel

    Bill at the Chimney Company is knowledgeable and professional. His quote was precise. A difficult job, on an old chimney, was done efficiently (ahead of schedule) and properly. The crew was quick and tidy. I am extremely satisfied.

    Chimney Liner

    The Chimney Co. (Bill Bassels) provided excellent service at a reasonable cost. Bill knew exactly what had to be done to get my open hearth fireplace operational after several years of disuse. I had done a lot of research about fireplaces and Bill was able to patiently answer all of my questions. The work was done in a timely manner and Bill's crew left the site clean as a whistle. My family is now enjoying the fireplace; it functions perfectly and there is no further problem with smoke. I highly recommend The Chimney Co. if you need any chimney or fireplace work.     Chimney brick repair

    The top few layers of our brick chimney were crumbling and I wasnt sure who to call to fix this. I went on Homestars and found a local company The Chimney Company. I looked them up and saw some videos on youtube that they had posed of the owner and his crew working. I emailed to get a quote, and Bill, the owner responed to my email that night that he would come take a look and leave a quote in our mailbox. That weekend I got the quote and called Bill to set up to have the work done. He came to the house and described what he would be doing. The day the work was scheduled, Bill arrived early to drop off supplies and came back with his crew. They did a fantastic job. The new brick matches the original perfectly. They left the job site completely clean. Bill knows what he's doing and I felt confident that the job would be done properly. I would recomment The Chimney Company to all our neighbors and friends.

    Chimney Rebuild

    Thanks to The Chimney Co. for an excellent job, at a very fair price. As a long time home owner I have dealt with many home services over the years. Your company was a pleasure to deal with, the work was done on time with no surprises the site was left thoroughly cleaned up, The crew was professional, polite, and courteous. My wife and I have never been happier with job so well done. The chimney looks better then the original. Thank You Chimney Co.

    Replace faulty chimney liner

    I had an illegal chimney liner when I bought my house and it was a mess . I was worried about carbon monoxide problems as well as the huge costs that my utility company said was involved. Bill and his crew assesed the situation and went work and before I knew it was done. They had to chip out and replace the top of the chimney and re-do the wall opening in the basement. All this and install the liner, unbelievable. To top it off they were clean and very friendly. I highly recomend this service. Thanks to all at The Chimney Company

    Chimney rebuild

    All I can say is wow! Bill and his crew not only beat the competition in price, but the quality of their work and timeliness in getting things done was outstanding. All it took me was a couple of phone calls and within a couple of weeks I came home from work on a Monday to a newly rebuilt chimney. It felt like magic almost. My neighbour was so impressed by the crew and their work that he got an estimate too! I wish all contractors were this easy and pleasant to deal with. The video series on the website is great too. Thanks Bill!

    rebuild two chimney's

    very prompt, and profesional. Work was done in time, clean with no problems. He knows his work well. Workmanship outstanding, will definitely recomend to friends and family. They even fixed something that wasn't part of the job.
