We bought Mercier flooring for both the condo in Toronto and for the house on the lake. Loved the Brazillian woods in the semi gloss that Mercier provides. Also, The Floor Shop had our wood flooring for $2.00 a square foot less than any we could find at the lake. Friendly service, quality products and good prices. A great store.

We received a thorough quote and explanation of our choices for refinishing our hardwood floors. The final price matched the quote. We were very pleased with the quality of work on large area of the floors and the attention to details on the stairs, trim and other finishing areas. The workers took pride in their work, were polite and respectful of our family and our home. They were also always on time, clean and tidy. After the work was done, they followed up in person to inspect with us room by room to ensure we were satisfied with the final outcome. And we were.

An excellent company to deal with from Allen at the shop to Andrew booking installation to Tawab doing the installation and Peter doing the final inspection and fine-tuning by Thomas. I was very pleased with the workmanship and the quality of the floors. Highly recommended!

I am extremely happy with my floors. I chose Torlys artisan cognac walnut and my floors look better than they do in the brochure. Voitek was very competent and obviously experienced, and he and his crew did a terrific job, on time and according to estimate. I chose The Floor Shop because they are relatively close to home, plus they were recommended by a colleague. Everyone that I dealt with at the Wicksteed location was professional, friendly and helpful. My expectations were exceeded many times over.

The Floor Shop supplied and installed beautiful hardwood flooring in our living and dining rooms. We were advised that the project, which also included the removal of old flooring, would take two days. That is exactly how long it took and the new floor looks great. We highly recommend this company.

Larry was able to match existing boards seamlessly in our new house so well that you can't tell the difference between the old and new. He was even able to get enough wood to redo the 2nd floor. The install job was outstanding as usual especially on the main floor where worn/broken planks were replaced.

Larry and the gang at the Etobicoke Floor Shop are fantastic. Larry was paramount not only in helping me select the perfect wood type and colour for our new floors - he also helped enormously by recommending a new and wonderful product called Warm Board for our radiant floors. Not only did it save us a bundle, it saved us in tonnage for the pounds per square metre. Larry was patient and kind when it came to me borrowing at least a thousand samples. Maureen (their in-house decorator) always had excellent suggestions and advice for colour matching and was great at catching details I had missed. She also had several great furniture store suggestions (very helpful!) All that aside, its also nice to say that our architects really jived with the gang - which is as I discovered, very helpful! Without being redundant - I would and do recommend The Floor Shop in Etobicoke to all my friends doing reno's, they are simply awesome! My floors are nearly a year old and they are still gorgeous!

I recently purchased a new condo but hated the parquet flooring and wanted to modernize and update the space by installing new flooring. The property manager in my building recommended the Floor Shop. After looking at several places I went into the Floor Shop with my sister and was instantly impressed with the hands on friendly service at the Wicksteed location. I'm happy to report that the installation went as smoothly as promised and my parquet flooring was replaced by warm chocolate oak floorboards. When I noticed a problem with a baseboard it was quickly replaced within days of my initial installation. I have received many compliments on my floor and absolutely love it. If you want your floor replaced and you want quality flooring and fast, friendly service I recommend the Floor Shop without hesitation. It may not be cheap but it is definitely worth it!

Great selection and products available. I had compared them to other major retails and I was able to save a bunch. This helped me put the savings into the kitchen work that we did. very happy with the floors!

After working out some issues with our existing Bamboo Floor, we had The Wood Floor back to our home to install new Mercier Pacific Maple flooring (4 1/4")in a gorgeous chocolate brown. The installers did an amazing job - the project was completed on-time, on-budget. Thanks to Andrew and his team for making it right.
