    Chimney cleaning and consultation

    Mario came and cleaned our Chimney. Very neat, efficient and professional. He also agreed to follow up with his colleagues to help us with options to change the fireplace.

    Super awesome experience!

    I used this company for my chimney rebuild this past summer and I was super impressed by the results. It somehow looks like it matches the rest of the house AND brand new at the same time! I also just got my chimney cleaned by them and was very pleased with the service and friendliness. These guys will definitely be my go-to's for everything chimney related.

    Great Service, Fair Price

    I would highly recommend Top Hat Chimney to anyone with a woodburning fireplace! I was having issues with smoke backing up into my house, so I called them out for an inspection. It turns out I had a large bird's nest in the chimney. Mario gave me a quote to remove the nest and I found it very reasonable given the amount of work he then did to make sure the chimney was completely clear. I was surprised at how clean everything was left given how much material came out of the chimney. I was completely satisfied and impressed with the service! I would definitely recommend these guys. They know what they're doing!!!

    Stainless Steel Chimney Cleaning.

    I called Top Hat Chimney to have my stainless-steel chimney cleaned. It had not been cleaned since installation, approximately five years ago. An appointment was booked for two days later. Adam showed up as scheduled. He removed the flue plate and cleaned the chimney from the fireplace side. He used a plastic bristled brush so as not to damage the stainless-steel. He had laid out a ground sheet before starting and left things absolutely spotless. He advised having it cleaned every 30 fires or every two years, whichever comes first. Overall I am very satisfied with Top Hat and would not hesitate in recommending them for chimney cleaning services.

    Chimney Cleaning

    Mario was delightful. He was fast and friendly. I highly recommend this company. I dont write reviews often but these guys are good.

    Chimney restoration

    This is a follow up review from a year ago. We live in an 1860s fieldstone farmhouse. Mario from Top Hat Chimney carefully and thoroughly inspected both chimneys. He replaced the old flues, repointed both chimneys and also replaced lose bricks in the hearth of one of the fireplaces. Mario worked with skill and efficiency. He attended to every detail to ensure both our fireplaces were safe to use for the Fall. Mario has high standards and that was evident in all the work he did for us. Many thanks to Mario and Adam who identified the problems initially and to Steve who started this business many years ago and who continues to guide and support it. Bob and I are very happy with the end result.

    Chimney cleaning

    I was very satisfied with Mario who tried to clean the chimney. He was pleasant, professional and cleaned up after the job. Unfortunately there was an unidentified blockage and he could not complete the job. When he was up on the roof he also took pictures of several things that need some follow-up and emailed me the photos later. I had to call another company who had a camera to identify the blockage.

    Clean or Inspect Chimney and Fireplace
    Helpful office staff. Booked inspection as I needed a camera to identify blockage in chimney. Owen examined the chimney after trying to clean it from above and below. He explained what needed to be done and approximate cost to fix the problem. I asked for a written report of the problem. He was professional, timely, and cleaned up after the job. I'd use this company again.

    service

    I use the services of Top Hat Chimney since a few years. It is great that they call me and schedule an appointment. I don't have to think about that . They always come on time. They are very courteous. The vacuum they use is loud but their work is efficient and professional . They clean everything before they leave. All that is done with a smile. I highly recommend them.
